We witness the launch of Cr Fashion Book, the new magazine by the former editor-in-chief of Vogue Paris, and watch how dreams are made. We see Kirsten Dunst and Harvey Weinstein applauding in the audience, at Carine Roitfeld's Cannes amfAR gala fashion show, before the documentary whisks you away to a photo shoot with Karl Lagerfeld.
For Cr's inaugural issue 0, classic models transform into French movie stars of the Sixties in front of Lagerfeld's lens: Stephanie Seymour becomes Nathalie Delon, Linda Evangelista becomes Anna Karina, and Carolyn Murphy turns into Mireille Darc.
Right before New York Fashion Week, Fabien Constant gave us some insight and took a turn as Buster Keaton for my camera.

Everyone knows Forbes just loves to rank how much money people make. From actresses to DJs, the magazine has a list for just about everything. Their latest is the annual highest-paid models list, with Giselle Bundchen continuing her reign at the top of the pack for a seventh year with $42 million in earnings.
It's not crazy to see Bundchen at the top of the list, as she's the face of many different brands, including H&M and Chanel. She's also part-owner is a Brazillian footwear company, which is doing pretty well. It's worth noting Bundchen earned more than her NFL quarterback husband Tom Brady, who was the third highest-paid football player with $38.3 million.
In a very distant second, Miranda Kerr has jumped up the list with $7.2 million, up from the $4 million she had for the 2012 list. In addition to her modeling contracts, Kerr also launched a skincare line in Asia.

Taking a walk on the wild side, Gisele Bundchen swapped out her tousled gold locks for a short, dark 'do in the new Louis Vuitton Fall 2013/Winter 2014 campaign.
Looking like a sultrier version of herself, the Victoria's Secret beauty poses with other fellow catwalk veterans including Karen Elson, Carolyn Murphy and Isabeli Fontana.
Although this time Gisele's look was almost unidentifiable, that wasn't the case back in 2006.
A few years back, Miss Bundchen was also the face of the luxury brand where she showed off signature figure and blonde hair accessorized by some of Lv's famous products.

Alyssa Milano may not be known for her fashion expertise, but the "Who's The Boss?" star sure knows television. That's why it makes (some) sense that Milano is the new host of "Project Runway All Stars."
The Hollywood Reporter exclusively reveals that Lifetime has tapped the actress for the third season of the "Project Runway" spinoff series. Milano will be joining our favorite chatty designer, Isaac Mizrahi, and the oh-so-glam Georgina Chapman of Marchesa, who both are returning judges.
Since "Project Runway" has become a household TV staple, Milano has big shoes (stilettos?) to fill -- models Angela Lindvall and Carolyn Murphy have each hosted the previous two seasons of "All Stars," while Heidi Klum has hosted the entire 14-season run of the original show. So unlike the typical runway-walking host, Milano's fashion resume might seem a bit skimpy. (She does have a clothing and jewelry line, though.)

Don’t ask her who’s the boss, but questions about her upcoming hosting gig are allowed as actress Alyssa Milano gets ready to get glam for Project Runway. Fashionistas take note! This little lady has signed the dotted line to host Lifetime’s popular design competition, Project Runway: All Stars.
All Stars is Project Runway‘s third venture. Production begins in New York this month in preparation for a fall premiere. It will bring with it familiar faces. Judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman will return to greet their new host.
THR spread the word. We don’t know yet which designers will be competing for for this year’s crown, but if past winner Mondo Guerra and Anthony Ryan Auld are solid examples, then we can expect good things.

Alyssa Milano is set to host the upcoming third season of Lifetime hit fashion-design competition, the actress confirmed during an appearance on Live With Kelly and Michael. It's becoming something of a tradition for "Project Runway All Stars" to have a new host each season. So, meet the new host for Season 3 of "Project Runway All Stars": Alyssa Milano.
The star of ABC's "Mistresses" (which premieres Monday night) will join returning judges Isaac Mizrahi and Georgina Chapman on "All Stars," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Milano replaces Season 2 host Carolyn Murphy, who in turn took over for Angela Lindvall.
The returning "Project Runway" designers for the next "All Stars" edition haven't been announced yet. It could happen soon, though, as production is scheduled to begin later this month in New York for a fall premiere. It won't interfere with "Mistresses," which finished production months ago.
Milano has never appeared on "Project Runway" before, but she does have some experience in the fashion world: She heads up a line called Touch by Alyssa Milano that sells sports-logo clothes for women.

Kylie!
I don't know if it was the excitement of super special guest judge Kylie Minogue, or because the "unconventional challenges" are usually a lot of fun (if not fashion forward), but this was one of the most entertaining episodes of a very lackluster season.
The designers meet Carolyn Murphy at a NYC shipyard because ... well, I have no idea why the designers met Carolyn Murphy at a NYC shipyard. It makes no logical sense, because it has nothing to do with the challenge or with the introduction of some bigwig watchmaker, who tells them that the winner will receive a fancy watch. Actually, I was hoping Josh was right when he predicted a pirate theme, because I'd love to see them work with eyepatches, peg legs, and dead shoulder parrots.
But this week's challenge is the Unconventional Challenge, which elicits groans from the designers, some of whom (Casanova, Emilio...

"And now you will be hunted, one by one."
There's no getting around it ... this was a terrible episode. The designers have to use "green" materials to make a red carpet look, but all that means is that they forced the designers to try to create something un-ugly from the tackiest, ugliest swatches we've ever seen on Project Runway. We're talking sub-sub-motel curtains.
I have to give the designers credit for coming up with what they did, considering what they had to work with, but none of the final designs are what you'd call memorable. But at least they kept a sense of humor, and it's telling that the highlight of the episode was Casanova announcing that he smells, "Like a rat die in my armpit," which is a perfect metaphor.
So how did each designer do? Let's take a look. [photo_gallery|node_id=48409]

So, another week, another oddball challenge. But whatever could it be? The designers gasp in appreciation when Carolyn Murphy walks out wearing a vest without a shirt. Wow, I guess. Anyway, her outfit is a hint. The challenge is androgyny! They must each design an androgynous outfit that is also avant-garde. I am so excited I can barely speak! No Michael Kors rip-offs this week, but something that might (gasp) actually go down a runway in Milan or Paris, right? I'm thinking Commes des Garcons, the "Project Runway" edition. Of course, not all of our designers like avant-garde or androgyny. Laura...

We kick things off the way we always do -- with a useless introduction from the host. Carolyn Murphy imitates Heidi Klum, but without the German accent that makes the bitchy attitude oddly endearing. Carolyn tells the designers it's time for the first fan interactive challenge! Which Joanna Coles will explain! In the workroom! Do we really have to stick with this stupid structure? Come on, Lifetime, this show is only an hour! And those poor designers have to go to two locations for no stinking reason! It's a disco challenge! I would think that would be lots of fun, but then, I'm sure it also means lots of really cheesy designs, less Bianca Jagger and more K.C. and the Sunshine Band. We can only hope someone was paying attention in Design History class. That's required, isn't it? Probably not, but if it's an elective, it would be a smart one for anyone who goes on this show to consider. Carolyn Murphy introduces the designers to Stefani Greenfield, Cco of Nine West. After the underwhelming Season Ten of Project Runway, I'm not sure it was a good idea for Lifetime to plunge immediately into a new cycle, as its easy to experience burnout (and this is the second All Stars series this year).
But luckily, this batch of designers is road tested for drama, skill and just a drop of crazy, so maybe they can deliver some excitement ...or at least, tears and slapfights.
The designers meet up, get acquainted (or re-acquainted), new host Carolyn Murphy informs them that the winner will receive the biggest prize in Runway history, with cash and fashion crap totaling $350,000 dollars, and then they are immediately thrust into the the thick of things (this series is only an hour an episode, which adds to the frenzy and eliminates the dull spots, thankfully).
Mentor Joanna Coles has them choose teams, and each team is assigned to create a mini collection with "attitude.
