The sun never sets in the world of streaming. After a jam-packed March that saw both "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" series going head-to-head with "Ted Lasso" -- not to mention, the much-buzzed-about return of "Yellowjackets" and the final hurrah of the Shakespearean tragedy that is "Succession" — it seems April is angling to keep the party going. Between "Schmigadoon!" and "The Afterparty" coming back, "Barry" setting sail for the Grey Havens with its final season, and whatever the hell Tara Hernandez and Damon Lindelof have cooked up for us with "Mrs. Davis," next month won't be hurting for appointment TV.
Not about to be left in the dust by its competitors, Netflix has its own plans for April. In addition to its typical monthly smattering of non-exclusive titles, the streamer will be dropping a 30th anniversary "Mighty Morphin Power Rangers" reunion special, "Once & Always," just to make all you Millennials...

As a child of the '90s, I experienced my first heartbreak the way countless other kids of a certain generation did: bawling my eyes out at the beginning of "The Land Before Time." Don Bluth's classic 1988 film is a lot of fun, but it's utterly poignant and terrifying too. Early on, the dinosaurs face down a Sharptooth, aka a Tyrannosaurus rex, in a harrowing scene. As if that's not enough, the herd is then separated by a massive earthquake, which grievously injures our hero Littlefoot's (Gabriel Damon) poor mama.

It’s ugly, it’s violent, it’s graphic novelist Frank Miller’s nasty vision through and through. Scream Factory’s Collector’s Edition brings out the amazing backstory of the production of this stop-motion- intensive first sequel to RoboCop. Druglord Caine is a menace, but we’re just as appalled by the film’s vivid depiction of a greater terror: Predatory Privatization.

Cod philosophy and well-meaning metaphors make this week's Star Trek: Tng episode one to skip...
This review contains spoilers.
3.5 The Bonding
As the episode opens, Worf is leading an away team to the surface of a planet once inhabited by an alien race who knew only war. Unfortunately, his blatant disregard for the ship's policy of placing only the most important staff in harm's way causes problems when a long-dormant bomb explodes, killing Lieutenant Aster, the ship's archaeologist. Oh no! Who will reassemble any old pottery fragments they find now?
As they wheel Aster's corpse down to cold storage (presumably), Troi informs Picard and Worf that Aster had a son, Jeremy, who has also lost his father. Picard goes to tell Jeremy that he is now an orphan, and while Worf feels responsible, Picard makes him stay behind. Presumably he reasons that having an...

Detroit's silver-plated cop returns to the big screen this week rebooted with a sleek black suit and The Killing's Joel Kinnaman on leading man duties. Though Paul Verhoeven's 1987 original is the most well-known incarnation of the character, he stretches far beyond movies into TV, video games and comic books.
Digital Spy takes a look back through the RoboCop video archives below...
RoboCop (1987)
With a B-movie premise, a relatively tight budget and a director in Paul Verhoeven who'd never made a movie in Hollywood before, the odds were stacked against the original RoboCop from the start. However, Verhoeven and writers Edward Neumeier and Michael Miner managed to inject the film with great action, memorable one-liners and a cutting satirical edge that commented on American culture. We'd buy that for a dollar!

It's hard to believe "Newsies" has been around since 1992. Directed by choreographer Kenny Ortega (who you can also thank for the the "High School Musical" series), the film was a major box office flop, but later gained a cult following on home video. Now, it's been turned into a Broadway musical that has earned eight Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, winning Best Choreography and Best Original Score.

Oh hey, Duncan, from your favorite failed 1999 TV show "Zoe, Duncan, Jack & Jane." David was also in the movies "Just Married," "Honey" and "Vacancy 2: The First Cut." Fun fact: He was once engaged to Kerry Washington.

Are you ready for something new? Are you ready to rock? Then get ready for the first edition of the new weekend movie music video feature I’m calling B-sides. For this premiere installment I’ll be bringing you a musical double feature from two different films with three things in common: part 2’s from 1990 with “cop” in the title.
So what exactly is B-sides all about? Once a week I’ll present to you a music video featuring a song from a motion picture, preferably of the b-movie persuasion. Some will be horror related, others will not, and some will just be horrifying in the sense you cannot believe someone actually recorded such a song. In some cases, as with more high profile soundtracks, the song will be presented in the form of the actual music video that aired on MTV. For more obscure offerings, the video might be...

Many film outlets, including this one, tend to honor the underrated gems that go unnoticed by the general public and laud said movies as terrificly spectacular. Seldom do you see sites take a gander at the pictures that are horrid beyond belief or give kids in third world countries every ailment imaginable. This is where I’m coming in, to spew hate all over those films that try to defame goodwill movies like The Hurt Locker or Vertigo have paved.
So today, we’ll take a look a film I hate more than any other movie on the planet. It might not be the worst picture that’s ever been made, but this is a film that makes me forget the director has done much better work in the past. In fact, it’s a movie I’ve banned from existence and hope the studio does the right thing in...
