Zack Snyder’s Dceu was one of the most polarizing film franchises ever. Some audiences adored
Snyder’s dark and mythological take on these iconic characters, while other audiences found the films
to be much more style than substance. However, no matter which side of the divide you’re on, two
things remain true for many of us:
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is not the best movie in the franchise. The Batman warehouse fight scene is iconic.
While Snyder’s DC movies didn’t work for everyone, it’s obvious that Zack Snyder had a clear vision and
style in mind for his films, and that sometimes yielded stunning splash page shots that look like the
comic panels coming to life. This version of Batman is famously played by Ben Affleck, who faced serious
blowback from the announcement that he’d be taking on the cape and cowl.

Brad Pitt has usually been in tip top shape for his roles. But he showed just how fit he was in Fury when he hung with a much younger co-star during a physical fight.
Brad Pitt showed his younger ‘Fury’ co-star that he was still in ‘Fight Club’ shape Brad Pitt | Axelle/Bauer-Griffin/FilmMagic
Pitt worked alongside several younger actors when he starred in David Ayer’s Fury. His castmates at the time included the likes of Shia Labeouf, Scott Eastwood, and Logan Lerman. Given the nature of the war film, tensions occasionally ran high between the actors on set. Labeouf and Eastwood famously almost came to blows, with Pitt having to break up the impending fight between the two.
Pitt also once got involved in the action. It turned out, Ayer would frequently pit the actors against each other in regulated fights. After seeing what Pitt was still capable of,...

Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice suffered a harsh critical and fan reception when it was initially released in 2016, with many elements of Zack Snyder’s gloomy crossover epic being picked apart. The most famous, though, and the moment from the movie that became the butt of every joke, was the “Martha” scene in which Superman and Batman bond over their mothers having the same name.
Many laughed it off as a ludicrous way for the two heroes, who’d been at each other’s throats moments before, to come together in time to defeat Lex Luthor. However, it seems the crew of the film had total faith in the sequence and the deeper meaning it had for the characters. In particular, stunt coordinator and second unit director Damon Caro doesn’t understand why the scene has become such a joke. He even says he had a discussion with Snyder...

The DC Extended Universe goes through some ups and downs regarding buzz on two of its most anticipated movies, while Wolverine has a miserable time in a delightful new clip in today's superhero roundup: Justice League Will Turn Things Around If you're tired of the dark quality of the DC Extended Universe, then you'll be happy to hear that Justice League is going to be a new hope for the franchise. Actually, Damon Caro, stunt coordinator and second unit director for the movie (and Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice), likens it to another part of the original Star Wars trilogy. From an interview at Heroic Hollywood: Justice League was always the rebirth of hope and the rise. People try to say that...

Zack Snyder's Justice League is a superhero film with a heavy burden on its shoulders; in addition to handling the introduction of one of the biggest superhero unions in comics, the movie will also be judged on the back of its predecessor, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, a film that was less-than-loved by fans and critics alike. It's well-known by now that there were some drastic shakeups at Warner Bros. following the movie's reception, along with the consistent message that future films in the Dceu would be more "fun" and "optimistic". In an interview with Heroic Hollywood, Batman v Superman second unit director Damon Caro (who is also working on Justice League) explained that despite the lighter tone in upcoming films, Batman v Superman was always supposed to be the dark film in contrast to Justice League. "And the interesting thing is, on Man of Steel, in [Zack Snyder’s] head...

Shortly before giving up directing duties on The Batman – he’s still attached to produce and star, for now – Ben Affleck likened the upcoming Justice League movie to the Dceu’s rebirth.
It’s a fairly accurate description, too; following the back-to-back disappointment of Batman V Superman and Suicide Squad, Warner Bros. is banking on Zack Snyder’s ensemble movie to deliver the goods, and effectively fire their shared universe on track. Wary of repeating the same mistakes over again, we’ve heard reports in the past of WB brass reshuffling their deck to allow for a more light-hearted spin on DC’s finest heroes, and that’s something that really shone through in the Justice League Comic-Con trailer.
Now, as we inch ever closer to release, crew members Damon Caro and Bryan Hirota sat down with Heroic Hollywood to discuss the film’s hopeful tone. Assistant Director Damon Caro...

Whether you loved it or hated it, you can’t deny that Zack Snyder’s Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice had at least several exciting, well-executed moments. They may have been few and far between, but they were there and one of them is, without a doubt, that thrilling warehouse scene.
If you’ve seen the film (which, let’s face it, you definitely have by this point), you surely know what we’re referring to and now, some new behind the scenes images have arrived online to give us a better look at it. Though there’s nothing here that’s going to stop the presses, fans will no doubt appreciate getting a peek at what went into bringing this particular moment to life.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice had a lot of cool moments, but chief among them was that warehouse scene. While many fans were understandably disappointed to see Ben Affleck's Caped Crusader murder a bunch of dudes, it was truly like seeing the comic books come to life as he leapt into action in a bid to save Martha Kent. Now, a new batch of behind-the-scenes images have surfaced. You can check those out below courtesy of Heroic Hollywood, while they also caught up with assistant director Damon Caro and visual effects supervisor Bryan Hirota. You can read that over at the site, and it's revealed that it was the first scene shot by Zack Snyder due to its complexity and that the only time Batman was CGI was when he blasted through the floor. The hero's cape was also a special effect! What do you guys think of these new images?...

Guillermo Grispo, a stunt and fight choreographer on "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," recently spoke with Spanish website Los Andes Diario (via Batman-News) and appears to have dropped some interesting details about the film and the key fight at its center.
Grispo says he almost worked on Christopher Nolan's "The Dark Knight" but the contract couldn't be resolved in time. On this film he prepared choreography for the stunt coordinator and second unit director, Damon Caro, and has worked on Snyder's "300," "Sucker Punch" and "Man of Steel".
This included "operating the camera for the action shot tests, doing the choreography, and afterwards all of the image composition for these kinds of sample action scenes". Asked what he can you tell us about the story, he says:
"It's no surprise if I say Batman and Superman come face-to-face in the movie. It's one of the most important sequences and...

300 : Rise Of An Empire, the much-anticipated follow-up to it’s 2006 fantasy/action predecessor 300 hits theaters this Friday. Recently, Wamg attended the press day where Lena Headey, Eva Green, Jack O’Connell, Callan Mulvey, Noam Murro (Director), and Zack Snyder (Producer and Screenwriter) held a press conference to talk about the film. Check it out below.
Unfortunately Sullivan Stapleton and Rodrigo Santoro were not in attendance for the press conference. I did, however, get to speak with them at an intimate press conference at Comic-Con 2013. You can check that out Here.
“300: Rise of an Empire,” told in the breathtaking visual style of the blockbuster “300,” is a new chapter of the epic saga, which takes the action to a new battlefield—the sea.
The story pits the Greek general Themistokles against the massive invading Persian forces, ruled by the mortal-turned-god Xerxes, and led by Artemisia, the vengeful commander of the Persian navy.

Respected online film critic Drew McWeeny at HitFix is a fan of Man of Steel. He calls the film powerfully emotional. Actor Henry Cavill echoes those sentiments stating, "The first half-hour, [and] I was in the movie - I know what the script was, I almost cried three times. I was like, 'Man up, man-up, don't be seen crying.' McWeeny continues that unlike other similar films, Man of Steel is "character, defined by action" to which Cavill replies, "Absolutely, and that's the intelligence of this filmmaking. Zack [Snyder] and Damon Caro really, really went to town on building this stuff so that it became something special and meaningful. It wasn't just a brawl, it wasn't just 'Oh, look at this spectacular fight' it means something, everything means something. It wasn't just there for the sake of being there." In an interview with ScreenRant, director Zack Snyder (Watchmen, 300) revealed that Henry Cavill is putting on muscle and learning to fight for the upcoming "Superman" reboot. "Henry is gonna be hitting the iron pretty hard," he said. Producer Deborah Snyder added: "They've put him on a plan. He has started in England and as of April 1st we have him full time with us for all that training." Cavill is getting in shape with the help of Mark Twight, who trained all the actors in "300." Meanwhile, Damon Caro ("300" fight choreographer) will be teaching the actor how to fight. All this confirms Snyder's earlier comments, in which he stated that Superman will be very physical. Vanessa Hudgens isn't famous for playing action roles but that's about to change in her next project, Zack Snyder's all-female action movie Sucker Punch. The director told MTV that even he was nervous about bringing in the High School Musical star.
I wasn't sure at first – [the casting people] were like "Oh, Vanessa's coming" and I was "Oh, okay – that sounds cool" but I didn't know what to think. Then I saw the tape and I literally went "Wow, she's good." She's really good. While Hudgens' role is not the main part (that role went to Emily Browning when Amanda Seyfried was forced to drop out), Snyder sees the smaller role as a plus for Hudgens:
She has a big part, but she's not the center of the movie. It'll allow her to stretch herself and do whatever she wants, and not be too exposed by the movie – but also, on the other hand,...
