"You think you want answers? You're wrong." Paramount Movies has released the trailer for a new original horror thriller titled The Visitor, produced by Blumhouse and out on VOD next month. After a series of tragedies, Robert moves with his wife back to her childhood home. There he discovers an old portrait of a man who looks exactly like him, and goes down a rabbit hole to discover the identity of this mysterious doppelganger. "You are where you are meant to be," is such a creepy line in this trailer. The film stars Finn Jones, Jessica McNamee, Dane Rhodes, and Donna Biscoe. There's obviously some crazy twists in this that will connect him with some creepy past, just have to find out what the hell is going on in this town. ›››

Talk about a sub-sub-genre that won’t die. Less than two years after the soulless vapidity of Scott Speer’s “Endless”, death-obsessed Gen Z-ers are again gifted with, well, a slightly less soulless and vapid “Ghost” ripoff in the form of Arie Posin’s “The In Between.” Bolstered by the charms of Joey King — fresh off her Netflix trilogy “The Kissing Booth,” sealing her as one of our most formidable streaming romance stars —
The primary issue: “The In Between” seems stuck in between (sorry) two very different stories. There’s the sweet, chemistry-fizzing romance between budding orphan photographer Tessa (King) and trilingual championship rower Skylar who meet cute at a screening of “Betty Blue” at their local arthouse (kids these days!) and then try to make a go of it, and what happens after a summer together — cut short when a car accident kills Skylar. Posin flips back and forth...

Peacock has shared the first look at its new upcoming comedy series “Killing It,” streaming this April.
Created by “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” producers Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici, “Killing It” stars Craig Robinson as Craig, a man who competes in a state-sponsored python hunt in his quest to achieve the American Dream. The series co-stars Stephanie Nogueras as Craig’s ex-wife Camille, Jet Miller as his pre-teen daughter Vanessa and Rell Battle as his younger brother Isaiah. Claudia O’Doherty, Scott Macarthur and Wyatt Walter round out the cast.
“We love all the ambitious, challenging, thematically-rich series that populate the current peak-tv landscape,” said Goor in a statement. “We also love jokes. So, we tried to make a show that could deliver both. We wanted ‘Killing It’ to explore America’s quasi-religious obsession with entrepreneurship and wealth, and we also wanted it to be funny. Really, really funny. Plus, we wanted it to have big snakes.
