Hey, "FBI" fans. Yes, you guys read the title correctly. This article is about some very bad news. For some reason,CBS will not be airing the new episode 6 of for FBI's current season 2 tonight, October 29, 2019. Instead the new episode 6 will air next Tuesday night, November 5, 2019 at approximately 8 pm central standard time on CBS of course. So, be sure to mark down that very important date on your TV show calendars. So, what will CBS air instead of FBI tonight? Actually, they will still be airing FBI, they just won't be airing the new episode 6. Instead, they will air a rerun of the 17th episode of season 1. The title of that episode is "Apex." The official description of it reads like this, "Dana and Maggie try to find justice for the serial killer's victims despite the mayor's insistence to limit the investigation." If for some reason, you guys missed that episode when it originally aired,...

Castle's opening season 8 two-parter feels frustratingly like a ratings-grasping attempt to rewind things back a few years...
This review contains spoilers.
8.1 Xy & 8.2 Xx
We’re only two episodes into Castle—a single two-part storyline (last week’s Xy and this week’s concluding Xx), and already, there’s more than a little room for concern.
It’s not exactly a secret that Castle’s strength is its cast. Arguably, Nathan Fillion may not be the most versatile actor on television, but he does have a knack for fostering chemistry. The thing that most of his work has in common is the sense of real connection between the actors—that they are enjoying their work but taking it seriously, regardless of the quality of the script they were given. And in the case of Castle, the script has always been the weak point.
Take this season opener. Like each of the last two seasons,...

Change is certainly in the air in the first promo for Castle Season 8. Kate has a new job, Rick has a new partner, and according to the trailer’s voice-over, that’s just the beginning of it all, as it tells us that “everything you think you know is about to change.” And all of those changes that are occurring aren’t only on the screen but off, as Castle has Terrance Paul Winter and Alexi Hawley taking over for David Amann as showrunner this season. Additionally, Penny Johnson Jerald, who played Captain Victoria Gates, is no longer on the show, while Toks Olagundoye (who we get a few glimpses of in this promo) is a new series regular, playing security specialist Hayley Shipton. There’s no doubt that this is a different type of Castle than what viewers were given in Season 7, but what remains to be seen is...

7.23 Hollander's Woods
One of the things about trailers and previews (and other glimpses of television and film stories to come) is that they are rife with misdirection—and rightly so. If you are too upfront with the audience about what’s going to happen in the movie you are promoting, then there’s really no reason to see it in the first place. Anyone who saw the trailer for 1999’s Double Jeopardy, starring Tommy Lee Jones and Ashley Judd, could have skipped pretty much the entire film, since there was little in the movie that wasn’t in, or loudly telegraphed by, the previews. Good news, Castle fans: there’s officially no reason to worry anymore. Even though it seemed virtually impossible that the show would continue on to Season 8 without one half of its central couple, it has now been confirmed that Stana Katic will be back as Kate Beckett for Castle‘s eighth season. Katic, who had not yet signed on for an eighth season of the ABC drama at the time it had been renewed by the network, just inked a one-year deal that will keep her on the series for at least one more season. Her decision also comes as in the midst of many major behind-the-scenes changes for Castle, the biggest one being the departure of showrunner David Amann, who will be replaced by two of the series’ writers, Terence Paul Winter and Alexi Hawley, as the pair take over as co-showrunners, “I’m so pleased to announce that,...

The fact that Castle‘s Stana Katic only renewed her contract for one more year is not necessarily a sign that the procedural in turn will be fitted with a toe tag at the end of Season 8. Nor has the recent death of McDreamy assigned an expiration date to Grey’s Anatomy, which was just picked up for Season 12.

The 3Xk storyline makes a welcome return in this week's episode of Castle...
This review contains spoilers.
7.14 Resurrection
Jerry Tyson has Ed Turner. Sorry, that’s an anagram, as Castle point out in the last minutes of Resurrection. Jerry Tyson has returned.
I try never to watch the previews for episodes on shows I am reviewing so that those carefully edited scenes don’t led me astray when I start writing. As a result, I rarely know what an episode is going to be about until I sit down to watch it. So when it became clear very early on that Resurrection was carrying on the 3Xk storyline, I was so surprised and pleased, I actually yelped.
Because while Castle is really good when it does its fun episodes, my favorites are always the myth arc episodes. Please forgive my exuberance in advance.

ABC’s Castle kicked off its February sweeps two-parter by first thrusting the devilish Dr. Kelly Nieman (played by Annie Wersching) back into the orbit of Rick Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Kate Beckett (Stana Katic).
And then for good (meaning: very, very bad) measure, the show introduced a man (returning guest star Michael Mosley) who certainly looks like presumed dead Jerry Tyson aka serial killer 3Xk.

Recently, TV Line chatted up "Castle" showrunner, David Amann, and he was able to shed a few, new, very interesting spoilers that we can expect to see from Castle and the crew when the 2nd half of the season starts back up. He mentioned more details on Castle getting his P.I. license which we all know of from the recent promos. However, he also discussed that they're bringing Dr. Kelly Nieman back to hopefully help Rick get to the root of his amnesia issues, and more. Their spoiler conversation reads like this: "Having been banned from working with the NYPD due to his "mob ties," Rick sets up shop as a private investigator, "and part of that is driven by his desire to work with Beckett," says showrunner David Amann. That's right: Castle is no longer welcome in the 12th precinct. But what does that mean? We talked with showrunner David Amann about how the twist will affect Castle and what fans can expect in 2014.

The following contains spoilers from the Castle winter finale.
The midseason finale of ABC’s Castle found Kate crafting for her husband a sweet and poetic Christmas gift, while all the NYPD left in the novelist’s stocking was a huge lump of coal.
In short: While investigating the case of whacked mob doctor, Rick suddenly found himself bound by an omertà blood oath, with crime boss Dino Scarpella. And though the “bond” indeed afforded Rick the access he needed to talk to the right underworld figures about the murder, it ultimately cost him his association with the NYPD, when...

Recently, TV Guide served up their latest Mega Buzz spoiler chat session and revealed some new spoiler intel for Castle season 7's winter finale episode, via executive producer, David Amann. It turns out that a major game changer will take place for Castle. One that will create a very significant change in his life. In their spoiler chat reveal, they stated: "Executive producer David Amann suggests that the writers won't be picking up that mystery again until probably February, during this season's big two-parter episode. But the midseason finale should pack plenty of punch. Because it serves as this season's Christmas episode, it has a bit of a lighter touch...right up until the end. "We're looking at a bit of a game-changer for Castle at the end of the episode," Amann teases, although he promises that Castle and Beckett aren't getting a quickie divorce. "The events of the episode will cause a shift.

The next hour of Castle holds the moment fans have been waiting for: Castle and Beckett will tie the knot. But in order to find their way to the altar, they might need a bit of a push, and according to showrunner David Amann, that's what the alternate reality is for. When Castle finds himself in a world where Beckett has no idea who he is, it helps him decide to tie the knot in real life in what will be an "incredibly romantic" ceremony.
