It may seem petty to complain about the music, but it is loud and very distracting. It took a lot away from the film. The story is focussed on a drug dealer who's gotten himself into trouble through a lack of good judgement around a buddy whom he's known since childhood. As a protagonist, he is hard to sympathize with, and I felt ambivalent as to his fate. I nearly quit half way through, but stuck with it and found the second half of the film added nothing. I'd have given it a pass had I known then what I know now.
