A low budget film does not have to be bad. But this one sure is. The forest man intones: "Forest is sick. It demands sacrifice" showing he has probably never taken an acting lesson. Emily, finding herself tied up and with antlers strapped to her head, manages to escape, and runs through the forest into town. Keeping her antlers strapped to her head. The film opens at night, but she arrives at the motel early evening, and slips by a man coming out of the room. That is not even believable. Anyway, she takes a shower, and peels off her fingernails. And sure enough, in the motel room, there are bandages. She is undergoing a change, and there is techno music, ominous sounds and images, red filters and smoke. And sometimes blue filters. To anyone saying that shows brilliance and high concepts, I say that shows confusion and a poor script. The movie becomes painful to watch, as it is so bad. They don't even try to correct the simple mistakes. I don't like to give one star reviews, as most films show some competent effort, even if budget constrained. And I don't expect a highly polished effort. This was simply rushed.

She needs to figure out what's happening before it' too late? She's already accepted the script and it's way too late.

The makeup and costumes appear to have come from the local Mall Halloween store.

The only redeeming thing I can think of is there are a lot of nighttime shots and they were all done very well.

If you were waiting for the last scenes to tie the story together and get some answers as to why the characters are doing what they are doing, keep waiting. It never happens.

This film was available on Amazon Prime and thankfully it was included with my subscription. The only thing that could have been worse was if I had to pay to see it.

So bad, it's actually fun to watch. The amateurism is decidedly delicious, the audio is comically badly done, the acting is on a par with a bad high school production, and the special effects or, let's say, not so special. You've got to give these people credit for doing this, obviously on a shoestring budget which makes it seem better than it might be. I mean there was some real talent here and shooting and editing, making this into an almost watchable film (albeit with a bit of fast forwarding) to get past the clunkier slow parts. It ends with a spectacularly hilarious special effects monster and one of the most unconvincing monster slaying possible. Enjoy!
