Sluggish black comedy that begins with a promising situation but doesn't go anywhere with it and finally doesn't amount to much. However, the mesmerizingly beautiful Cameron Diaz and the pleasant locations at least make the film easy on the eyes, and there is one scene, with Keitel and Diaz trying to dispose of a body by throwing it into the sea, that is mildly funny.
