The Painter and the Pointer (1944)
One of the most mean spirited Andy Panda shorts
I do like many of Andy Panda's cartoons but this one was just way too mean spirited for my taste. Andy's temper is really bad in this short and makes him unlikable in this particular Andy Panda short and wants the dog to stay in the same position to paint on a canvas but what offended me most in this cartoon was when he then used a gun to make sure he stays in that position with strings attached the gun that if would go off and kill the dog. The part of that offended me was that Andy Panda said "If you make one more move then it's no more doggie". I am a dog and cat lover (well I'm a lover of all animals, except parasitic ones) and whenever I watch this short I feel like watching some of the moving dog movies like Old Yeller, My Dog Skip, Hachi A Dog's Tale, Sounder, The Dog Of Flanders, and Where The Red Fern Grows, as those show true bondages with dogs and it makes me forget about this horrid Andy Panda short. I have nothing against the Andy Panda cartoons but I just really hated this one.
The Christmas Light (1995)
Gross CGI
Dreadful animation (even for 1995; the same year the first Toy Story was made and of course looks way batter than The Christmas Light). Reboot looks better than this, Nintendo 64 and PS1 games look better than this, The CGI Donkey Kong Country cartoon looks better than this, Monster By Mistake looks better than this. And it hurts me to say this but even Video Brinquedo, Sparkplug Entertainment, and most DTV mockbusters look better than this. It's on par with Rapsittie Street Kids and Joshua And The Promised Land as being some of the worst CGI ever made. Just like Rapsittie Street Kids and Joshua And The Promised land, this looks more like a college student's test assignment or even a web animation but nope. I'm glad that this is obscure becuase I think that if a kid saw this, their whole Christmas Vaction would be traumatizing and ruined.
Family Guy (1999)
Always hated it!
I never liked this or any of the other work Seth MacFarlane did. It's sexist, racist, homophobic, and very mean spirited. The only character I even remotely like is Meg and she is used as a punching back and for Seth to express opinions. There's a running "gag" in Family Guy where Peter farts in Meg's face and it's used in so many episodes. If I had parents like Peter and Lois, I'd runaway and join the circus. Also many of the stuff Family Guy has parodied and skits it's either stuff that have been referenced a million times before (like Jaws, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Tarzan, every 70s and 80s comedy hit, and various cartoons) or are really dated. The character I hate the most is Quagmire who has sex and has had sex even raped a bunch of women (even some underaged). You can call me a Simpsons fangirl all you want but I like the modern Simpsons episodes too where is I can't even stand one episode of Family Guy. I also find all the celebrity and cartoon characters cameos very unfunny, offensive, mean spirited, and disrespectful. I even find many cartoons for "Kids" funnier and more clever than Family Guy like Pollyworld, My Little Pony, The Barbie Movies, The Gen 1 and 2 Monster High, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Adventure Time, Loud House, OK KO Let's Be Heroes, SpongeBob, Shopkins, Winnie The Pooh, Garfield, and various Family movies. It's funny to think that Gravity Falls (a daytime cartoon for kids) is much more funny and clever than Family Guy (which is a primetime animated series for "adults"). Just because you're vulgarity and adult humor doesn't make you more adult, it makes you more childish. I do also like South Park and many of Seth Rogen (who I find a much funnier Seth celebrity) movies but they have a charm to their vulgar and offensive stuff that Family Guy doesn't. Also the animation is beyond DREADFUL and don't even like looking a screenshots of it. It makes the limited budget of Saturday morning cartoons from the 60s to 80s look like Studio Ghibli in comparison. Yeah I hate this show with a passion.
Monster High (2022)
The most drastic change to Monster High.
I love generation 1 and 2 of Monster High as I think it's a cute and creative doll line but I didn't like this at all. First all of the characters look like entirely different characters from gen 1 and 2. Also with the changed personalities of the characters from the first two generations with Draculaura being mean in this generation when she was sweet, innocent, kind, squeamish about blood and meat, and very caring in gen 1 and 2. Back to how I think that they made the characters look like entirely different characters is Lagoona who's pink in this generation and didn't even reminded me of gen 1 and 2 Lagoona. My guess to why they changed character designs entirely is that after Universal stopped being the distributors of many of Mattel's movies after the 2010s that Mattel lost the rights to the similarity of Gen 1 and 2 designs after Paramount distributing this and the upcoming TV show spin off (which I'm not looking forward to after this). Also I agree with some of the other reviewers that I also disliked Clawdeen being a half human. I'd recommend watching the Gen 1 and 2 Monster High shows and movies. It also seems like Mattel toy based shows and movies have started to go downhill since the 2020s started, and Mattel is my favorite toy company and for the movies and shows made by Mattel in the 2000s up until 2020 as I also love the 2000s Polly Polly Pocket and also think that the Polly Pocket webisodes in the 2010 were also cute and enjoyable (and the 2018 to present Polly Pocket is decent but it's not one of my favorite Polly Pocket renditions), and the Barbie movies (though some of the ones made after the 2010s have gone downhill too).
Will It Blend? (2006)
Always makes me laugh!
I absolutely love this series. Every episode always makes me laugh and It's a pretty powerful blender that can blend stuff that most brands can't. I especially love the ones where he had to smash an object like the Ipad and Chrome Notebook to get it to fit. Some of my favorite stuff he's blended besides those two I mentioned are the pool noodle, Halloween decoration skeleton, paintballs, silly putty, his hand (even though he used a fake hand), magnets, super glue, thunder snaps, and cubic zirconia diamonds.
Billy the Kid Versus Dracula (1966)
Very cheaply made
I saw this movie on Svengoolie. The title for this movie is wierd but the actual movie is even dumber. I have nothing against the actor John Carradine but this is what I consider (as well John Carradine's least favorite) role of his. Even though there's a vampire in the movie no one calls the vampire Dracula at any part of the movie. Also there's a part where you can see a guy in a stagecoach controling the animatronic bat. The way the film was shot with the camera it feels like a local TV station airing filming a local High School's School Play or Talent Show rather than a theatrical movie. It also could've worked if it was a made for TV movie but I still think it would've been terrible as that too.
Cow and Chicken (1997)
Never liked this cartoon
Even when I was young I hated it. The animation is terrible and has some of the ugliest character designs ever. So much stuff about this show bothers me. The gross out humor wasn't funny here and it's trying to copy the success of Ren And Stimpy and Rocko's Modern Life (which I do like Rocko and that's adult humor in a kids show done right). Every episode of this show makes me cringe in some ways and don't even get me started on the Buffalo Gals episode of this series. I even disliked this show even more when I saw that Seth MacFarlane worked on episodes of this (which I can't stand Seth MacFarlane's work).
The Purge (2013)
A movie and franchise I'd consider overrated.
I personally believe that this franchise had potential to be a decent movie, like it could of worked if it has a Mel Brooks parody of crime movies, a clever dark comedy, or if they focused on more crime other than just murder. With the idea of one night of the year they make crime legal this movie only focused on Murder when I think that if crime was legal then you could do other illegal stuff other than murder like shoplifting, driving a car without insurance, shooting protected species, robbing a bank, a bus not stopping at a railroad, going way over the speed limit, walking on private property, graffiti and whatnot. Just like The Nostalgia Critic said that everyone who saw it took it seriously and thought it was going to happen when in reality it would never happen in real life. It's shocking that this movie also got several sequels.
Theme Park History (2018)
Fun Webseries
I don't usually write reviews on here but just had to for this. I absolutely love theme parks and coasters and what not and this show is very entertaining series. It can give you history of some of the old attractions and theme parks of ones that no longer there (and perfect for people who never had a chance to go those particular attractions there) as well as history of rides still there. I'm planning on going to the Universal Orlando Resort (since the Universal Pictures company is my favorite of the major Hollywood studios) once COVID-19 gets under control and this series helps me get excited for the attractions there. I've learned a lot from this series and with one of the rides I'm excited to ride there of The Simpsons Ride, I learned that The Simpsons Ride had a very long complex history to it for trying to get it to the Universal Theme Parks. There's also his express video where good too (which is his ones for talking about some of the rides and attractions that aren't as popular, or ones with very few history facts for development for). I would even recommend this to families with younger children. All in all; go give this guy a watch and once you've seen one of his videos you can't help to watch over and over again.
Fun Fact: My comment for requesting him to tell the history of The Simpsons Ride got featured when he shows the comments for the requests.
