Heels (2021)
I think wrestling is stupid so imagine my surprise
Damn this is so good. I've skipped this show a couple of times as I didn't think a show about wrestling will interest me. But what a nice surprise. The show is less about wrestling but more about people, choices, and perspective. The characters are very well developed. They each have a real personality to keep you invested, and the storyline keeps you hooked too. Kinda sad now as I've only one episode left to finish season 1.
The Politician (2019)
Unexpectedly good
Not the usual teenager show. It is unique & hilarious without the LOL funny. Love the plot and the characters. Watch with little expectation and ended up binge-watching. What a delightful surprise! Hope for season 3 🤗
Mosaic (2018)
Don't trust the bad reviews.
A crime drama about a missing woman and the detectives, family members, and friends involved. It sounds familiar, I know, and maybe the unique feature (watching from different perspectives) doesn't sound worthwhile, I understand. But this plays out like no other crime drama I have seen recently, perhaps ever, and it is the best show I've seen in a good while.
First off, it's Steven Soderbergh producing & directing. In addition to the many great movies under his belt, he also created a fantastic, unique 2-season TV show called The Knick. So the camera work, photography, lighting, and editing are all outstanding.
Second, Mosaic runs like a great 6-hour play, but utilizes true detective S1 style time jumps. Virtually the entire show is dialogue. This only works with great actors & a great script, and this show has both. The characters are as 3-dimensional as they can get.
I would say more, but hesitate as I don't want to even trends towards a spoiler. Mosaic stood out from everything else on TV these days, and if you appreciate 'good' shows, do not miss this one.

The Client List (2010)
Much better than the ratings.
Well well well.. Looks like there's clear bias shown in many reviews particularly those that gives poor rating. I watch this movie with little expectation, just want to see JLH shows some skin. Yes I am shallow but which boy at his 20s isn't? But boy I was wrong, the plot is something you can relate and emotional throughout. Kinda like the show Knocked Up where you are just looking for a simple laugh and pretty faces but end up getting whole lot more. Yes the girls are not morally perfect but so are humans. And the acting are much better than I thought (except the husband, just enough to make the role I guess). And of course, as expected JLH looks really really hot in those outfits. Haha! Well, and for those in the profession I don't think this show will affect public perspective nor have it lose any respect. So don't worry too much. Enjoy the show!
