The Education of Fredrick Fitzell (2020)
This deserves a way better score.
It saddens me to see this have this score when in my opinion it does not fall short in anything compared to the likes of Mr. Nobody or The Butterfly Effect.
I thought the acting was brilliant. Especially the two main protagonists.
The story was amazing, it keeps you wondering throughout.
It is true that nothing is 100% sure, but from the main possible explanations, any of them make for a great outcome.
I would like to believe it is ultimately a story with a happy ending and a very good moral: "You can learn from your mistakes and better your life for it.".
The sound crew was spot on, everything matches perfectly.
The only gripe I have with the movie is the use of the strobing white light, albeit only for a few moments, but still annoying.
I was sad when the movie ended and I don't have this feeling often at all sadly.
Spontaneous (2020)
Could of been better if
Left politics out of it. I am not from the USA and I am sick and tired of these political bs propagandas.
"Could of been worse, could of been republican", something about conservatives also and about the orange man,
Movie is legit good, could of been so much better if they left this s*** out of it.
The amount of cursing is also a bit annoying.
The Terminal List (2022)
We need more like this
I'm not saying the show is perfect, but I gave it a 10 because I thoroughly enjoyed it.
They kept it basic, good acting with a good story and development, imagine that.
Would love to see more shows remove hidden agendas in favor of these basics.
The Lost Girls (2022)
Not worth anyone's time
It is incredible that some people are proud of participating in a movie like this.
Next time you get a great idea and want to make another movie, gather your friends and employees, ask them what they think or suggest and do the opposite, because they will be too afraid to tell you the truth, that it is probably trash.
The Good Doctor (2017)
From being captivated to skipping big parts of every episode
I recently binged the show and was pleasantly surprised by the first two seasons. I liked the premise and the overall portrayal of the situation.
Starting from season 3 the Netflix goblins started to show their tail.
By season 4 it became like any other pc show, nothing more...
Great job on doing a bad job as always Netflix!
Vikings: Valhalla (2022)
Such a disappointment
I loved the original, even the last few seasons even though without Ragnar it lost a lot of flair.
This show is just a blimp, not worth remembering really, a handful of decent moments here and there.
"History is written in stone." true, but I guess because technology has evolved so much from the Stone Age Hollywood can change whatever it pleases to check a few boxes almost no one on this planet cares about.
All in all, extremely average, 5/10. Sick and tired of the PC tho'.
Starship Troopers (1997)
Oh how I wish
How I wish recent movies had the qualities this movies has.
It might be considered by many just an "action flick", but in my opinion it is a great testament to a time when movies were actually good.
Great development of characters. No politics. 10/10.
Reacher (2022)
Finally!
Had some doubts but from the first episode I was hooked. Finally a show that focuses more on what it's supposed to and not so much on politics!
After the disappointment that Picard was for me ( has a way too high rating imo ) I was not expecting much, but it sure delivered. Keep it up.
