Indian Police Force (2024)
Do more research & cheesy
In episode 2 you mentioned Lupus. It is not considered a 'Rare' disease anymore, especially in the past 25 years. It just was a disease overlooked or misdiagnosed for many many years. Now it is becoming recognized worldwide. It is also not considered a death sentence disease anymore (used to be a 10 yrs life expectancy after diagnosis). Most of us live for 30 to 50 years after we are diagnosed unless it is affecting a major organ such as the Kidney.
Also when one has Lupus, one of the most prominent symptoms is they DO NOT have energy...your character was quoted to so full of energy and life. NOT! Next time choose a disease that is actually 'Rare'.
Also y'all need to work on your special effects a bit more...the explosions/fires are so cheesy looking...like I'm looking at a cheap video game.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith (2024)
Spoiler Alert
Nooooo!!!! I'm so upset!!! They killed Max!!!
The series is slow moving....need more missions and such. I'm not a fan of the actress playing the lead. She is so ....BLAH. Wish Maria Bello was playing her again (she and Scott Bakula played the previous series...years back)
Also it's somewhat choppy and you miss chunks of a mission that you feel shouldve been shown. I also feel that the writer couldn't decide if they were to be serious or bumbling comedians. Feels like British writers wrote and produced this.
This could've been done better.
I did really like Parker Posey in here.
I will admit the last episode was the best of all of them. It's like they saved it all for the last episode. And if course there would be a cliffhanger.
Astrid et Raphaëlle (2019)
This is a fave of mine
This is is one of my Favorite PBS show. Not only does it show into the life of an adult autistic but how people learn to relate towards and with her. It also shows about different autistic adults and how they cope with the world around them via support group meetings. I like how the show is continuing to evolve and has introduced a 'love interest' in her life (Season 3) and how to cope with it. The show does show how she has been treated by her peers and others when she was younger. Although it is nice to see how everyone seems to get along with her, I like to see some conflicts of those that may not and how she handles it as an adult along with her peers.
Bringing Christmas Home (2023)
Great Movie
I loved the historical information included in this movie. It was interesting learning about secret coders from WW2 though I wish it had a chance to delve even deeper in the history of secret coders. What would've pushed this movie beyond 10 stars would have been flash backs to the historical couple back during WW2. Yes the movie was a bit formulaic but not nearly as much as other GAC/Hallmark movies. This one actually had a bit of twists and turns because of the historical mystery. I would love to see more movies like this to be developed and especially ones that are inspired by true events. Well done.
Triada (2023)
Not bad
It was good but choppy though. It would go between the past and the present and that was confusing at times. People say it's like Orphan Black but not really. This group of sisters are not clones but triplets born from the same mother (of course.) It is very loosely based on the Triplet Boys, Robert, Eddy and David, that were adopted from the Louise Wise Services. They were part of an experiment involving several groups of triplets and twins that were separated separated at birth. These boys accidentally found each other.
I don't expect there to be a season two with the way the show ended. If so, it wouldn't be really a mystery this time.
Walker (2021)
I'm disappointed and frustrated
I really loved the original Walker and I do like this one too but ... Jared is driving me nuts and not in a good way. His stuttering has actually gotten worse since the show started and from everything I've read, it is an acting thing of his not real life. Please have him cured of this....it is absolutely annoying. Now don't take this wrong, if it was a real medical affliction of his, I would not be reacting the same way. I have good friends that stutter and have no problem with it and the patience to go with. I just think that it isn't necessary for this show. It makes him look weak or pitiful.
25 Words or Less (2018)
The new format is not as good
My husband and I loved the original format when they all shared a stage and were able to physically interact with each other. Also there were 4 celebrities competing vs the 2 now. The new format is cold feeling. The fun loving joking interaction isn't there. The jumping around, goofing off, and hugging interaction isn't there. We originally rated the show as a 9 but dropped it to a 5/6 with the new format. Even Hollywood Squares had more interaction than this new format. Covid is now over so please bring back the old format. I do like that the winners get to keep competing until a new team beats them, that should stay.
Charmed (2018)
Series Finale
I knew as soon as I saw the house that it was the OG Halliwell House which actually was kind of cool how it came full circle. However if they were going to do this then in the episode that shows the names of all the previous Charmed Ones, they should've listed the Halliwell sisters (I'm pretty sure they didn't) and secondly they could've had one of them open the door.
Naomi (2022)
Wish this was being renewed!!
**************There is so much still to tell in the story of Naomi. *********************** Yes it started out a bit slow and yes it is about a high school girl but there is so much more to tell***************************It needs to be renewed!********************
V.C. Andrews' Landry Family (2021)
Much better than Flowers in The Attic Series
I really like this series. Love that they used actual twins and not have the same actress for both. Blew my mind when I saw Lauralee Bell as the stepmom. Far from the Cricket on Y&R and magazine model that I grew up seeing.
Motherland: Fort Salem (2020)
Love it!
I absolutely love this show! There are times it feels a bit slow or even choppy...but overall I love it.
Love Is a Piece of Cake (2020)
Mila Jones
Little Mola Jones who plays the little daughter personality reminds me of a young Shirley Temple. Loved her!
The Unlisted (2019)
I binged this in two nights
It's a good family show. No bad language, sex, drugs or violence. It's a bit campy but I really liked it. Loved Dadi! Love viewing some of the Indian culture. Hey you...sit down relax and binge.
Miracle on Highway 34 (2020)
Feel Good
This was a feel good movie. A bit slow moving. Love how it's shares the message of God's Love. It was really a sweet movie.
A few things could've been done better:
the white dead space for approximately 10-20s before daylight appears each time and the fake baby (you could definitely tell it was a doll). Where did the dog suddenly come from at the house. Also you show the large tip being placed but not her reaction...that to me was a huge miss.
Our Father's Keeper (2020)
Sweet movie but...
First of all I must say that each individual presents alzheimer's differently. I've worked with many over the years and their families too. This is just one example of how alzheimer's may appear.
I liked the storyline up until the end when the father returned home. Some things were left hanging...ie the 2 boys who found him and especially in regards to the girl who took care of him for a few days. I do feel there was a bit more that needed to be clarified at the end.
