For the people interested in be part of the second century
5 March 2003
This masterpiece is dedicated to the next generations of filmmakers and people in general using the cinema basis.

All the simple things in life that commonly can't enjoy or that sometimes we don't give the real importance are showed with a lot of humour during a trip, the Pickpocket's trip, can be the last but that doesn't mean that won't be wonderful.

The director, Jorge Bolado says; "If God created the world then God was the first cinema director" and can be right but depends of the men and the women enjoy and care the place created for us.

Highly recommendable if you can get it.

A remarkable film with a singular taste.

They've been more than friends since that nail accidentally injured Bebe during their infancy. Clim (Clementine) and Bebe grown together. Inspired by the devotion of his mother he decided be sculptor. The immense love between them is more important than any racism prejudge and were constructing their lives like the usual young couples, unfortunately a policeman involved to Bebe into a crime against a tourist but the love and support of their parents that don't know limits through the adversities give to this film a singular taste.

Excellent film painted in green with elements that Charles Dickens never wrote.
12 July 1999
Too many people are disappointed with this version but really the artistic job of Emmanuel Luzbezki and Cuarón whom painted in green this movie, provides another magical and completely different environment in comparison with the Dickens's novel but that was the purpose of Alfonso Cuarón who tired to say once and again; "I don't want to copy anything of the previous versions (because were part of my motivation to try it), I want to create a new history completely different with the Dickens's basis". Excellent photography and music, two elements that Charles Dickens never wrote.

Happiness (1998)

The happiness of some people is the sadness of others.
5 July 1999
The real experience provided by the film about life consists in discover all that is front of us, it doesn't matter if is right or wrong, sane or insane, etc, what really matters is that all of them are perfectly human. On this way we are walking every day and probably in one moment you will find something that makes you happy but in other you're the creator of the happiness. Our happiness begins with ourselves such as the sadness, this last one has too many different ways to ask help but it's common can't hear it. The events such as the environment to develop this film were perfect. An excellent masterpiece.

A manifestation full of passion, love and rhythm.
5 July 1999
The spirit tries to get out all the senses that invade your soul, your body, your mind through an artistical manifestation. Once after seem this film you probably love the tangos or hate it, but you will discover in each song a magic instant full of color, of meaning and sense. Each step is impulsed by a fresh wind of change and nostalgia. A notable example of love to our ideals and passions, to our own way to be. A remarkable film.

Prejudices don't kill people, people with prejudices do.

This film is part of the beginning of the New Mexican Cinema, based in a true story and made like an example of the uncertain time in Mexico after 1968 and how can be influenced a entire town against a group of people whom their only sin was; be a student.

Ed Wood (1994)

A great masterpiece in black&white of a world full of colors.
1 July 1999
The passion has too many faces and so different ways to express it. This movie is an example; since the simple vision of a man to make movies (Ed Wood) as the feeling of another man to play on it(Bela Lugosi). A great masterpiece in black&white of Tim Burton about a world full of colors and human behavior that much people could consider strange but are so honest as any other.
