The way Sophie Okoneda does an analysis on the main character is simply brilliant in this episode

Episode 5 is the best, by far ...
moviesforcats29 October 2018
I actually really enjoy watching this show for as short as the season is (six episodes total). The most groundbreaking and resonating episode for me was episode five. This episode was so realistic with regard to the grieving of a dead parent, and I felt a very deep kinship with Joy and how she handled her grief, both in her adolescence as well as in her adulthood. And of course Toni Collette playing Joy is perfection -- but why wouldn't it be? I also wish I had had a therapist that was as concerned and inquisitive has Angela, one who actually listened and wanted to help. I really do hope they make a season two, because I have grown particularly fond of all of the characters, and writing and directing like this is worthy of a second season.

What a superb two hander this episode was- Toni Collette & sophie Okonedo - Oscar worthy. The most exceptional and powerful hours worth of acting on television in a long time. A brilliant script, emphatic direction made it truly memorable.

Therapy scene is so underrated

Warning: Spoilers
This is also as real as a therapy session. It tides the whole Serie together. Although it turns out to be lengthy as the whole hour long episode, but it's the only episode that I didn't turn my eyes off it or playing with my phone while watching the Serie on computer.

There's always a reason behind every desire, not just about sex.

Towards the end of the episode, after being reviewed her true need (fear hence desire), I so wish Joy will return to her husband as she doesn't deserve to self-sabotage like this. Glad that she did, although it didn't come easy. This is also her way to face her fears and challenges.

This is where the series went off the rail

The first 4 episodes were great, but the last 2 are like it would be a completely different series. They do not continue the story.

It's a Game of Thrones level screw up.
