In Netflix sci-fi epic series 3 Body Problem, British actor Alex Sharp stars as Will Downing, a terminally-ill scientist who not only manages profound romantic heartbreak, but ultimately transcends the limits of human existence.
Plucked straight out of Julliard to play the lead character of Christopher Boone in the Marianne Elliott-directed stage production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, Sharpe won a Tony for the role. He went on to star opposite Lily Collins in the film To the Bone, as activist Rennie Davis in The Trial of the Chicago 7 and with Anne Hathaway and Rebel Wilson in The Hustle, before playing opposite Bill Nighy in Living and with Anthony Hopkins and Helena Bonham Carter in One Life, the 2023 film about British humanitarian Nicholas Winton, who rescued hundreds of Jewish children from occupied Poland.

Lily Collins has given some of the most undisputed performances in almost all of her projects, with the viewers being stunned not only by her exceptional acting charms but also by her irresistible beauty. That said, her portrayal of Ellen in her 2017 thriller/drama film with Keanu Reeves, To the Bone, was nothing short of the perfect proof of just how dedicated she is to her work as well.
Lily Collins in Emily in Paris.
However, her movie was booed down and deemed a controversial project that should be banned because it could trigger strong, unwanted emotions in the people actually suffering from anorexia nervosa. But the movie itself was a real masterpiece that needed to be created, and the response that Collins received for her tremendous physical transformation only further proved its necessity.

For a few beautiful years in the early 2000s, Michael Pitt’s spine-chilling blue eyes wreaked havoc in world cinema, from Bernardo Bertolucci’s “The Dreamers” to Michael Haneke’s “Funny Games.” Then, due to quite a few controversies, the actor stepped away from the limelight, taking on smaller projects here and there and leaving an abyssal gap in the industry: a blue-eyed menace whose presence in any given film immediately signaled some form of psychological torture.
Many have tried their hand at filling this gap, from the sprawling Skarsgårds to Dane DeHaan, but no one has come as close to it as Caleb Landry Jones.

Exclusive: Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds), Carrie-Anne Moss (The Matrix franchise), Isabelle Fuhrman (The Novice) and Liana Liberato (To the Bone) have signed on to star in Justine Bateman’s upcoming feature Face, based on her 2021 bestseller, Face: One Square Foot of Skin.
The film penned by Bateman consists of 14 vignettes, both comedic and dramatic, which look at women’s faces getting older, and why that makes people angry. While much of society appears to assume that women’s faces are somehow broken and need to be fixed, Face reveals some of the many ways in which women, and those around them, allow this idea to take root at all.
Parker will play Tanya, an actress balancing her need to use her face for her job and the pressure to not move it at all, with Moss as Mrs. Foster, a kindergarten teacher whose young students remind her of the magical functionality of the face.

Through 18 seasons of Grey's Anatomy, there have been plenty of changes.
Some of the biggest changes come from the cast, as any show that has been on as long as Grey's has surely seen plenty of cast exits.
Luckily, the cast that departed early in the series (or even more recently) can still be seen in other projects. So where are they now?
Isaiah Washington -- Dr. Preston Burke
Isaiah Washington portrayed Dr. Preston Burke for the first three seasons of Grey's Anatomy.
Washington also returned as a guest on Grey's Anatomy Season 10 after Cristina left Grey Sloan.
Since leaving Seattle Grace, the actor has remained steady in both TV and film, having been in the main cast of The 100 through The 100 Season 5.
He's also appeared in shows such as Blue Bloods, Bull, Law & Order: LA, and was recurring during Survivor's Remorse Season 4.

The dramedy written by Whiskey Cavalier creator David Hemingson follows Paul Hunham (Giamatti), a teacher at a prestigious academy who nobody likes—not his students, not his fellow faculty, not the headmaster, who all find his pomposity and rigidity exasperating. Porcupine Tree’s Steven Wilson takes full advantage of deep fake technology to repeatedly transform himself in the new video for his song, “Self.”
The video was directed by Wilson’s longtime visual collaborator, Miles Skarin, and it opens with the musician facing the camera as he sings along with the propulsive track. Eventually, Wilson’s face starts to shift and, over the course of the clip, he takes on the features of an array of people, including Joe Biden, Robert Downey, Jr., Mark Zuckerberg, Scarlett Johansson, Donald Trump, and David Bowie.

After seeing his work on 2018’s Terminal, this writer jumped at the opportunity to speak with filmmaker Vaughn Stein about his latest project, Inheritance, a dramatic thriller centered around the Monroe dynasty—a wealthy family whose influence in politics and legacy in New York is built upon a foundation of lies. Those lies begin to threaten their very existences after the patriarch of their clan (Patrick Warburton) passes away suddenly, leaving his daughter Lauren (Lily Collins) to clean up the mess before they lose everything they’ve all worked so hard for over the years.
Written by Matthew Kennedy, Inheritance also stars Connie Nielsen, Chace Crawford, and Simon Pegg (who turns in an exemplary performance here unlike anything we’ve ever seen from him before). Keanu Reeves is an icon. He has been for some time, but it's now become especially apparent. Following early successes like Dangerous Liaisons, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, Point Break, Speed, and the first Matrix film in 1999, the actor appeared in a string of under-the-radar indie films and tepid romantic comedies - all of which couldn't quite overshadow the intimidating success of the decade-defining Matrix franchise. But now it's 2019, and Keanu Reeves is everywhere (again).
There's a reason - well, several reasons - that the 54-year-old star seems inescapable these days. Keanu recently saw the release of his third John Wick movie, and then delighted Netflix viewers with a celebrated cameo portraying himself in Always Be My Maybe - two projects released within a few weeks of each other. Around the same time, Keanu was honored at the historic Tcl Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles with several costars,...

Anita Gou found out she had two films going to Sundance this year via WeChat, while she was out on a road trip in Taiwan. It was a fitting way to find out for someone with such strong international connections. One was Lulu Wang’s Mandarin-language comedy The Farewell, which was snapped up by A24 in a splashy $6 million deal, and the other was Shia Labeouf-starrer Honey Boy, which ended up being part of Amazon’s remarkable buying spree. But Gou wasn’t fazed; though she was only 28, it wasn’t her first rodeo—she had already taken two films to the festival: Netflix acquisition To the Bone in 2017 and Sam Levinson’s Assassination Nation in 2018. That meant that all of her first four narrative features would debut in Park City—and that’s quite a start.
“I can’t say it was intentional,” Gou laughs. “Though I guess...

No movie star is quite like Keanu Reeves. An A-lister who has a trio of franchises to his name, all of which have become or are in the process of becoming trilogies, he walks between worlds with ease. An action hero, but also a part of a beloved comedy franchise, Reeves doesn’t fit into any one particular box. With the release this weekend of John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum, now seemed like a perfect time to look at the actor. Reeves is a big star in Hollywood, though one who doesn’t do things quite like anyone else. He very much follows the beat of his own drummer. It’s certainly worked for him, as this spotlight today will highlight. Reeves got his start on television, though he quickly made the jump to film with Youngblood. Soon after came River’s Edge, along with his first high profile movie in Dangerous Liaisons.
