He's best known as the cop from Alfred Hitchcock's classic film Rear Window (1954). He had his own TV series, Harbor Command (1957).
- GoofsBilly places the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the outside doorknob of his motel room. When he is inside the room, the sign is hanging on the inside. The sign is also noticeably missing on the outside when the door is opened into the room later in the scene.

Rachel Kennedy: I don't understand what just happened. Did we just win, or did we lose?
Billy McBride: Both, kind of. Case got kicked, but we're still open.
Rachel Kennedy: That doesn't make any sense.

In All Reality, They'd Just KILL BILL
Kill Billy Volume 1 and 2 would end here, in this episode... the problem with season one of Goliath is how many things happen to Billy and what happens to his girlfriend (poor woman's Uma Thurman) but doesn't happen to him...
In reality, Billy would get killed and it would be very easy to do so since he lives like a public wino and they pile on the bad things the villains do, in particular William Hurt as The Man Without A Face...
This is a great season although I don't agree that it's the best season; my favorites are 2 and 3 because the villains are better than Darth Hurt but...
There are too many reaches here with that the villainous lawyer would do short of killing Bill, which makes it more and more a stretch that they'd let him stay alive.
