After seeing this remarkable film with the female protagonist Stephanie Stumph I couldn't believe how underrated picture the IMDb search gives on her, stating that she has roled "an unknown number of episodes"! How come? She was brilliant in her role and by far the best, although it seemed that the male actors were more appreciated for their roles. I don't say that they didn't do well, but somehow I got the feeling that the woman was again put aside in the criticism (non-existent, rather). The film itself gave a good insight into the many- sided Indian culture, the clashes between the upper class and the parias, the untouchables, the profound, immense gap between the rich and the poor. Beautiful filming, excellent actors, Stephanie being by far the most credible in her role.
