Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movie series is expanding with another installment after the grand success of the third movie Spider-Man: No Way Home, it was the ultimate treat for Marvel fans. Now, the upcoming Spider-Man movie, as speculation dictates, is going to be more grounded with a bit of multiversal touch.
Tom Holland stars as Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Columbia Pictures’ Spider-man: No Way Home.
If not multiversal, Spider-Man might go to its classic root, to its classic villains— Norman and Harry Osborn. New speculation recently suggested that fans could see Dune star Timothée Chalamet making his Spider-Man debut playing a villainous Harry Osborn and in this case, Kevin Feige might hire one MCU star again, this time for the role of Norman Osborn.

The big day has finally arrived for Fantastico Studio and Cannibal Tales, as Episode 1 of the horror visual novel is now available on Steam. As mentioned on the Cannibal Tales Steam page, Episode 1 is only the “beginning of a larger journey” for the team, as two episodes are set for release in 2025, culminating in a 3D Survival Horror game in 2026.
The release of Episode 1 coincides with the birthday of Cannibal Holocaust director Ruggero Deodato, who also penned the script for Cannibal Tales. “We’re deeply sorry we couldn’t share this moment with the master Ruggero Deodato, but we believe releasing the game on his birthday is a fitting tribute to him.”
In addition to working on the additional episodes, Fantastico Studio is in the process of bringing Cannibal Tales to the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, as well as localization into other languages.

Anne Hathaway is opening up about how stress impacted her earlier in her acting career and how she finally learned to manage it.
During an interview on The New York Times podcast The Interview, the Oscar-winning actress shared that she has likely played “chronically stressed out young women” because she used to be “a really stressed out young woman” in real life.
“I was a really stressed out young woman,” Hathaway recalled. “And as a formerly chronically stressed young woman, which leads to, you know, all manner of things, I just remember thinking one day, ‘You are taking this for granted, you are taking your life for granted,'” referring to her career success at the time.
She added, “You have no idea. Something could fall through the sky and that will be lights out for you. So when I find myself, like, the old instincts rising, I just tell myself,...

The New York Times features interviews every day. In its news report, in its podcasts like The Daily, in The New York Times Magazine.
But there was, to hear deputy managing editor Sam Dolnick explain, something missing.
“We didn’t have the really big flagship audio show that interviewed the biggest names in culture, and a place like The New York Times should,” Dolnick says.
On April 27, the Times will remedy that problem, launching what it is calling The Interview, a new franchise that will include an audio podcast, and a print version that will run in The New York Times Magazine. The Interview will be led by Talk columnist David Marchese, as well as Times audio host Lulu Garcia-Navarro.

While it’s not the March release that Fantastico Studio was hoping for with Episode 1 of Cannibal Tales, those looking to sink their teeth into the game will be able to do so next month! The developer has announced that Episode 1 will be released on May 7 on Steam.
And no, it’s no coincidence that the game is being released on the birthday of the late Cannibal Holocaust director (and writer for Cannibal Tales) Ruggero Deodato. The team explains in the update that the date was chosen “in celebration and tribute” of Deodato, who would be turning 85 next month.
Fantastico Studio also revealed that there is a console release in the works for Cannibal Tales “this summer”. The overall plan for the game is for the second episode to be released in Winter 2024, and will “conclude beautifully” with the third episode, which will be a “3D survival horror adventure that...

Recently, more than half a century after its premiere, Fox released a retrospective special about the storied anti-war sitcom "M*A*S*H" that included rare and previously unseen interviews with the show's cast and crew. When they weren't reminiscing about their characters and opening up about cast changes over the years, former members of the fictional 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital discussed episodes of the show that broke the TV mold, pushing the medium beyond its established boundaries and yanking on viewers' heartstrings in unexpected ways.
Among the spotlighted episodes in "M*A*S*H: The Comedy That Changed Television" was "The Interview," the season 4 finale that saw the show briefly take the form of a black-and-white war documentary. The late writer and executive producer Burt Metcalfe said the experiment took inspiration from Edward R. Murrow's 1950s newsreel show "See It Now," which included interviews in Korea during the war. Comedian Kevin Hart filed a lawsuit against YouTuber Tasha K and his former employee, Miesha Shakes, for allegedly committing civil extortion and invading his privacy.
Shakes worked for Hart’s company from August 2017 to October 2020 as his personal assistant.
In his Netflix documentary series, he calls it “the lowest moment of my life.”
The YouTuber, whose real name is Latasha Kebe, interviewed Shakes on her channel Unwind with Tasha K on December 22. The video was titled, “The Interview That Kevin Hart Will Wish Never Came Out!!”
During the video, Shakes claims that Hart cheated on his wife, Eniko Parrish, and had an office affair. She also claims to have told Parrish herself of Hart’s affair and alleged gambling addiction.
Hart denied the allegations, calling them “false and defamatory statements regarding Hart and certain legal disputes in which he had been involved.”

Over its 11-season run, "M*A*S*H" earned a reputation for pushing the boundaries of the sitcom format. Amazingly, mainstream audiences generally rolled with this conceptual adventurousness. Indeed, one of the series' most famously experimental episodes, "The Interview", is both a critical and fan favorite. As long as the writers stayed true to the characters, viewers were down for just about anything.
This boldness inspired the show's actors to get in on the fun and conjure up unconventional stories that dug deep into their characters' psyches. Cast members Alan Alda, Mike Farrell, Mary Kay Place, and McLean Stevenson all wrote episodes, many of which were excellent.
But not everyone got their scripts into production and on the air. Gary Burghoff, who played the 4077th's boyish company clerk Corporal "Radar" O'Reilly, had a fascinatingly fanciful idea for an episode that impressed series creator Larry Gelbart. He was hopeful his script would go before cameras,...

Princess Diana‘s interview with Panorama is one of the most famous and infamous interviews ever given by a member of Britain’s royal family. It took place in 1995 inside Kensington Palace where the princess lived following her separation from then-Prince Charles.
The interview was watched by an estimated 23 million people, which was nearly half of the United Kingdom’s population at the time. It was explosive for viewers to hear Diana talk about her troubled marriage to the future king. But it’s now being reported that the late princess‘s words came from someone else as she was told how to respond and what to say about certain subjects.

Developer Fantastico Studio has finalized their plans for the upcoming closed beta for Cannibal Tales, announcing that the beta will kick off on October 31. The team also dropped a bit more info on the beta, as well as revealed a new art piece involving the game’s antagonist.
The closed beta (which you can sign up for via the Cannibal Tales official site) will take place from October 31, and last until November 7th. This will be different from the public demo that was available this summer, and will give players access to the first two chapters of the game, totaling around 30 minutes of gameplay. Upon completing the demo, there will be a survey asking for player feedback.
This all ties into Fantastico’s aim to have the game out in February 2024. According to the announcement, development is in the “home stretch”, with the final two scenes, save functionality, options, and localization remaining.

After decades spent firmly in the zeitgeist, the pop cultural legacy of "Star Trek" shows up in some unexpected places -- like an episode of Guillermo del Toro's horror anthology directed by "Mandy" filmmaker Panos Cosmatos. In a recent interview with Variety, production designer Tamara Deverell described the process of building the set for "The Interview," an episode of "Guillermo del Toro's Cabinet of Curiosities" that takes place largely inside a hazy, orange, retro-futuristic room.
Fans of "Cabinet of Curiosities" will remember "The Interview" as perhaps the show's trippiest installment. The hour stars comedians Eric André, Steve Agee, and Charlyne Yi, plus actress (and future "Rebel Moon" star) Sofia Boutella, actor Michael Therriault, and screen legend Peter Weller. In what appears to be a curious slow-burn experiment, a group of disparate people -- including a psychic, novelist, record producer, and astrophysicist -- are gathered together in a drug-filled mansion...

The 4077th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital wouldn't have been the same without Father Mulcahy (William Christopher). The army chaplain gave "M*A*S*H" a sense of soulfulness, and helped the show talk about serious topics that its jokester characters might otherwise be too zany to pull off without his thoughtful input. Father Mulcahy was also just nice. As played by Christopher, the Catholic priest was non-judgemental and supportive, willing to meet each character where they lived in terms of religiosity — and he was kind of just a charming goofball.
Mulcahy started "M*A*S*H" as a recurring character, but by season 5 he was a series regular. Across the show's run, he delivered some of its most memorable moments and sometimes got substantial plotlines of his own: helping to run a local orphanage, having a crisis of faith when he felt his spiritual work was less helpful than the doctors' physical work,...

“As the beta release draws near, we’re putting the finishing touches on localizing the new scenes in the upcoming demo,” reads the update. The closed beta comes off of the success of the demo that the developer put together back in August for Steam’s Visual Novel Fest.
Fantastico also dropped a few details regarding the characters that will be part of this first entry, “The Interview”, which is being planned for release this Winter:

Robert Altman's "M*A*S*H" is an uproariously funny anti-war masterpiece on par with the Marx Brothers' "Duck Soup." Set at a Mobile Army Surgical Hospital during the Korean War in 1951, but released to theaters in 1970, Altman's movie was unmistakably commenting on the ongoing meat grinder that was the Vietnam War. One second you're howling at the decidedly un-pc antics of Army surgeons Benjamin "Hawkeye" Pierce (Donald Sutherland) and "Trapper" John McIntyre (Elliott Gould), and the next you're cringing as blood spurts from the wounded soldiers they're endeavoring to save.

Randall Park says he never thought of himself as a leader before he directed his debut feature film, “Shortcomings,” out Friday via Sony Pictures Classics.

If you’re eager to delve into Ruggero Deodato‘s final project with developer Fantastico Studio and their Cannibal Tales visual novel game, you’re in luck. The Hollywood movie studios have mostly skipped San Diego Comic-Con this year, and don’t have a single outdoor ad in the Gas Lamp neighborhood as the confab kicked off this week.
Typically, you’ll catch banners on street lamps — at least — for upcoming Marvel Studios movies. This year, Disney has The Marvels coming out on November 10 while Sony is looking to expand its Venom universe on October 6 with Kraven the Hunter. I mean, Sony had a banner up near the Hard Rock Hotel for its Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy The Interview back in 2014 (that film was ultimately tainted by the North Korean hack at the studio). It’s a lost opportunity to reach a crowd of 135,000 and spike heat for a project on social media.

Together with Fithian, Corcoran, known for being a straight-shooter with the press, has had a wild ride, fighting on behalf of their members against theatrical-window crunching, trying to convince Netflix about the worthiness of theatrical, exhibitors’ situation with The Interview in 2014 following the North Korea Sony hack, contending with cinema closures during Covid, getting them bailout money during those dark days, and re-opening them as early as August 2020 with ideal cleaning-safety standards. He was also involved in launching NATO’s own convention, CinemaCon.
Corcoran joined the association as a writer and editor for NATO’s monthly magazine and annual encyclopedia in 1998. In 2007, he was named Director of Media & Research and...

Things have been fairly quiet regarding the development of Borneo: A Jungle Nightmare. According to developer Fantastico Studio, the project is still alive, though not in the way you might expect (more on that in a bit). In light of director Ruggero Deodato‘s passing, the developer has decided to switch things up, announcing the visual novel game, Cannibal Tales.
You’re probably wondering just how this all makes sense. According to the developers, development on Borneo: a Jungle Nightmare has been halted, due to a lack of funds. Sadly, attempts to secure additional funding haven’t been successful. According to Fantastico, they don’t even have the necessary resources to complete a vertical slice of the game.
Therefore, the team has decided to pivot, returning to the original idea with their collaboration with Deodato. “We will create a visual novel using the master’s unpublished screenplay, and the project will be called Cannibal Tales.

Once upon a time, "The Fighter" might have starred ... Eminem? Development on the film began in 2003, while Eminem was fresh off his lead role in "8 Mile," which won an Oscar that year for Best Original Song with "Lose Yourself." He had also achieved success the year before with "The Eminem Show," which won the Grammy for Best Rap Album and was the world's bestselling album of 2002. As he racked up the #1 album, song, and movie virtually simultaneously, Hollywood wanted to continue riding that success and working with Eminem. And it seems he was looking to channel his own inner Rocky, too.

I admittedly have a lot of mixed feelings about simultaneous release schedules, also known as the day-and-date model. The traditional industry standard is that most films enjoy an exclusive window of about 90 days in theaters before the film becomes available for home video release. But as technology has evolved and the accessibility of streaming has changed the cinematic landscape, the day-and-date model has been adopted by independently released films as a way to find an audience, knowing that it's harder to do so sandwiched between mega-blockbuster releases.
Before the start of the pandemic, the Seth Rogen and James Franco comedy, "The Interview," was the only major studio release to go day-and-date, doing so only because the film earned legitimate threats of nuclear warfare. During the pandemic, however, day-and-date releases became more popular as fewer people were willing to risk their health and safety by going to the theaters. Some of...

On May 8, Seth Rogen shared the sad news that his 13-year-old dog, Zelda, has crossed over the rainbow bridge. After spending over a decade together, Rogen posted a heartbreaking tribute to the beloved Cavalier King Charles spaniel on his Instagram account. "We said goodbye to our perfect girl Zelda on Thursday, May 4th. She was almost 14 years old," Rogen began. "She was truly the most special, magical creature. She taught us about love, resilience, strength, and kindness. We loved her more than words can describe."
"She was so judgmental, that when she loved you, you really knew you earned it, and it made you feel like you had won."
The gallery featured photos of Rogen and his wife, Lauren Miller, with Zelda over the years. From nature walks and family beach days to times spent on movie sets, the trio's cache of happy memories seems boundless. Rogen recalled traveling with Zelda to multiple countries,...

Netflix is on the cusp of taking down a wide selection of movies and TV series.
The streaming service removes numerous titles each month, but without fanfare; unless you happen to select the thing that’s about to leave, you will have no idea there’s a limited amount of time left to watch.
Fortunately, we’ve compiled a list of every movie and TV show being removed from Netflix in April 2023.
We’ve aggregated all the impending removals from Netflix in the UK and US, which we’ve signalled below. If there isn’t a territory listed next to the title, then it will be leaving both.
Find a full list of every film and TV show arriving on Netflix this month here.

Hulu’s list of new releases for April 2023 don’t feature many blockbusters, but if we dig a little, I’m sure we can find some gems.
Perhaps the most promising items are on the TV side of things. Tiny Beautiful Things premieres on April 7 and stars Kathryn Hahn as “a floundering writer who becomes a revered advice columnist while her own life is falling apart.” That will be followed by comedy Am I Being Unreasonable? on April 11 and two documentaries: high school football story Algiers, America (April 19) and Tupac Shakur piece Dear Mama (April 22).
The best TV candidate this month, however, is probably Saint X on April 26. This series, told via multiple timelines, “explores and upends the girl-gone-missing genre as it explores how a young woman’s mysterious death during an idyllic Caribbean vacation creates a traumatic ripple effect that eventually pulls her surviving sister into a dangerous pursuit of the truth.

Even if you’ve signed up for every streaming service out there, it can feel monumental when a title moves from one to another. In April, Netflix mainstay “New Girl” moves to Hulu; still streaming, but not where fans are used to finding it — like rearranging the furniture in your apartment and waking up surprised every day that the couch is over there now.
But what’s important is that “New Girl” lives on, now joining Hulu’s own TV and movie library and originals from Freeform, FX, National Geographic, and more. Later in the month, Leila Gerstein’s “Saint X” — based on the novel by Alexis Schaitkin — premieres with three episodes, recounting the story of a young girl found dead during a family vacation and the sister piecing it together years later. Alycia Debnam-Carey, Josh Bonzie, West Duchovny, Jayden Elijah, Bre Francis, Kenlee Anaya Townsend, Betsy Brandt, and Michael Park star.

Michel Gondry's superhero film "The Green Hornet," adapted from the 1936 radio adventure serial and subsequent 1966 TV series, was not well received when it hit theaters in 2011. The film currently has an unremarkable 44% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and falls frustratingly between high-energy superhero parody and crass, low art comedy. "The Green Hornet" was written by its star Seth Rogen and his frequent writing partner Evan Goldberg, and the two seemed to feel that Rogen's slobby screen persona would be enough to freshen up an otherwise pat vigilante story.
Rogen and Goldberg also united in 2014 to direct the controversial film "The Interview," a movie about a pair of "Daily Show"-style news comedians (Rogen and James Franco) going to North Korea specifically to assassinate Kim Jong-un (Randall Park) under the subterfuge that they will be interviewing him. The film attracted ire from Korea, seeing as it indirectly threatened a dictator's life,...

The actor has been complaining about the hurt that critics can deliver. But someone has to call out stinkers, as you would think he’d agree
Seth Rogen: negative film reviews are ‘devastating’
We’ve now had expressions of protest from both the violent and non-violent wings of the anti-bad-review movement. The Hanover State Opera’s ballet director Marco Goecke confronted the Frankfurter Allgemeine ballet critic Wiebke Hüster in the theatre foyer and smeared dog excrement in her face. Now the comic and movie actor Seth Rogen has shared his views on criticism in an interview with Steven Bartlett’s Diary of a CEO podcast, declaring how upset he was at bad reviews for his films The Green Hornet and The Interview. “I think if most critics knew how much it hurts the people that made the things that they are writing about, they would second guess the way they write these things.

Seth Rogen has gotten plenty of good reviews throughout his career – a look at his Rotten Tomatoes page shows a lot more red (good) than bad (green) – but the bad ones really sting. During a recent appearance on the “Diary of a CEO” podcast, the multi-hyphenate creator opened up about self-doubt and how negative press affects him and other creative people. He said that he experiences self-doubt when “a cultural institution tells everyone that I suck.” Asked by host Steven Bartlett if that kind of criticism hurts, Rogen replied, “Oh yeah! Of course. It hurts everyone. Yes. Very much so.”
“I think if most critics knew how much it hurt the people that made the things that they are writing about, they would second guess the way they write these things,” Rogen continued. “It’s devastating. I know people who never recover from it, honestly. Years, decades of being hurt...

Seth Rogen has made some critically-acclaimed movies like The Fabelmans and has starred in some not-so-great films throughout his career. The actor is now opening up about how reading opinions from film critics can be very hurtful.
“I think if most critics knew how much it hurt the people that made the things that they are writing about, they would second guess the way they write these things,” he said on the Diary of a CEO podcast. “It’s devastating. I know people who never recover from it honestly, years, decades of being hurt. It’s very personal… It is devastating when you are being institutionally told that your personal expression was bad. Seth Rogen got brutally honest about film critics during a discussion about mental health and self-doubt on the “Diary of a CEO” podcast. The comedian told host Steven Bartlett that negative reviews from critics “hurt everyone very much.”
“I think if most critics knew how much it hurts the people that made the things that they are writing about, they would second guess the way they write these things,” Rogen said. “It’s devastating. I know people who have never recovered from it honestly – a year, decades of being hurt by [film reviews]. It’s very personal…It is devastating when you are being institutionally told that your personal expression was bad, and that’s something that people carry with them, literally, their entire lives and I get why. It fucking sucks.”
Bartlett brought up Michel Gondry’s 2011 superhero comedy “The Green Hornet,” which starred Rogen as the eponymous hero opposite Jay Chou and Cameron Diaz.

Seth Rogen is looking back on the controversy surrounding “The Interview”, the 2014 comedy that wound up playing a central role in the infamous Sony hack.
In the film, Rogen and James Franco play a pair of Americans recruited by the CIA to assassinate North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un (Randall Park), a premise that resulted in a pressure campaign from the North Korean government — including threats of terror attacks on theatres — that scuttled the film’s planned theatrical release at the last minute, with the film instead released online.
“At the time, it was really bad and really catastrophic,” Rogen told Tony Hawk and Jason Ellis during a recent appearance on their “Hawk vs Wolf” podcast.

Seth Rogen joined Tony Hawk and Jason Ellis on a recent episode of their “Hawk vs. Wolf” podcast and reflected on the “catastrophic” fallout from his 2014 Sony-backed comedy “The Interview.” The film, which starred Rogen and James Franco as Americans tasked by the CIA with assassinating North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un, infamously played a role in the Sony hack, in which data and emails from Sony employees were leaked online. The hackers demanded Sony withdraw “The Interview’s” theatrical release. The studio also faced threats from North Korea, so it opted to skip a nationwide release and debut the film via online digital rentals and purchases.
“At the time, it was really bad and really catastrophic,” Rogen said of the fallout (via The Playlist). “People we knew were getting fired from it. The head of the studio [Sony Pictures head Amy Pascal] was essentially fired from it. It really...
