Out of the whole "Power Universe", "Book III" remains the most interesting series in the catalog. I saw a big improvement compared to season 1 and the character of Kanan is taking shape. I like how the screenwriters are showing how he became the criminal that we knew in the original series. I liked the exposition: this season was focused more on him, while in the previous one the attention was more on Raq and her business expansion. Overall, there is a nice balance, no character is left behind and we get to know every member of the family a bit better. The show explores their vulnerable sides, making them closer to the audience. The story is never boring and it always brings something different at stake, new rivals are introduced, there are some captivating subplots that expand the narrative. Some story elements are a bit dragged out and there are sequences that are ridiculous, but overall the show is very entertaining and these issues are forgivable. The more I watch "Raising Kanan", the more I am convinced that more effort should be put into this show, leaving behind the sloppy "Ghost" and the horrendous "Force" adaptations. These 10 episodes convinced me that there is so much potential and it can add a lot of value to this whole narrative universe. I just hope that the creators will keep the same quality for the next season.
