Not the most original story and the narration is a bit dry but the subject line is relevant to what we see today with migration.
I really like the colorful design of the characters and visuals. I'm a 3D artist/Cinematographer and I have to say, there's something unique about the technique they used. Even though this short was made so many years ago, it's still relevant in today's technology.
The visuals are very child friendly and I think appealing to very young children.
I'll look into the other parts of the series as I understand there's many more shorts with different styles of art. The NFB is known for their experimentation in creating unique techniques and that's what I see in this short movie.
I think the written story could have been more exciting and unique but for educational purposes, I think it's fine.
Overall, beautifully designed. Would have liked to see more of the art the director created for this story.
