Before the show was officially canceled, creators Javier Holgado and Carlos Vila proved to the network that they were still stories to tell by writing and presenting the first five episodes of a supposed season 4.
The network stopped production for the first season after shooting 6 episodes, although 13 were signed.
As the network is a State-owned company, due to a big budget cut, the network was forced to make a hiatus in the airings from July 2011 (Season 2-Finale) until January 2014 (Season 3-Premiere).
Lydia Bosch guest starred on the show as a character named Natalia Palazón. The name is an homage to Motivos personales (2005), run by creators Javier Holgado and Carlos Vila, whose main characters were Natalia Nadal (Bosch) and Virginia Palazón (Marta Calvó).
Laura's twins, Carlos and Javier, are named after the series' creators and writers, Carlos Vila and Javier Holgado.
