I have already seen short movies about sheepmen, vet doctors, about countryside stories taking place in farms. Mainly because those movies are cheaper to produce and show the actual life style of peasants and so on.... This one is really exceptional because of its atmosphere, very chilling, grabbing from the first minute, bringing anguish, I would say terror to the audience. The overall soundtrack contributes to this disturbing story, contributes so much that you feel discomfortable all the time. And the unexplained ending is also a bit disappointing.because you don't know what really happened, you wonder what was it about, a born calf, supposed to be without legs...That's all? It's a bit annoying, but it belongs to the efficiency of this smooth horror tale. Not hardcore, I insist.

Or SOS ... or no pun intended as I like to say. Short of Sheep? Maybe that too - all puns and kidding aside, short movies are a thing to behold. And actors are aware of that. Even more so during a time like Covid (and 2021 was still a bad time for movie making overall - or releasing for that matter).
And if you have a short movie that can match a feature length movie (cinematography and sound design to name two very important things) ... well you may wonder why not watch more of these? Of course some feature length movies would fare better if they were a lot shorter - and maybe had an ending like this one ... on the other hand (or foot?): you may not like how this ... leaves things ... I think it is the only way to go ... or stay (well you'll understand once you watch). This is quite eerie and full suspense ... without being explicit. The acting is top notch as is the writing of it ... are you in the mood for ... then you'll be all over this for sure!
