- TriviaAccording to the bonus content for the episode, Mr. Nimbus was set to appear in a previous season but the episode was later scrapped. The writer team loved the character, so they ended up incorporating him into this episode.
- GoofsMister Nimbus and his "Nemesis" relationship with Rick is a major retcon, considering Rick and Morty have been in the ocean on Earth so many times before without Nimbus appearing or even being mentioned. A significant example is The Ricklantis Mixup (2017) from Season 3, where as a misdirect the episode focuses on the rebuilt Citadel Of Ricks while the show's primary Rick & Morty travel to Atlantis, complete with scuba gear and returning wet and leaving puddles on the floor. Being IN the ocean is certainly more than being ON the ocean in Rick's car.
- Quotes
Rick Sanchez: Ok, Nimbus only drinks the good shit, so just toss this whale-ass ocean wine in here and age it up a few centuries.
Morty Smith: So time moves faster in there? It's like a Narnia thing?
Rick Sanchez: I'm not a beaver who believes in Jesus Christ, Morty! But yeah, it's pretty much a Narnia thing.

Great start to the fifth season
Really solid start for the fifth season. I was worried that the writing might start slacking since the show is becoming way more popular and the creators might get over confident like other animated series (*cough* Simpsons, family guy). But this isn't the case. Still the same quality show as when it started.
Great episode. Only reason I gave it 9 instead of 10 is because I don't think it's up there with the very best episodes, and because I think there are even better episodes to come this season.
