Spoiler Alert! This post contains details from the two-part Season 3 finale of Fox’s The Cleaning Lady.
It appears Thony De La Rosa has escaped the clutches of the Sin Cara cartel. For now, at least.
Season 3 of Fox’s The Cleaning Lady ended on an eventful note Tuesday with a two-part finale that saw Thony (Elodie Yung) explore all possible routes to take down Ramona Sanchez (Kate del Castillo).
After helping Nadia (Eva De Dominici) fake her own death, Thony thought she was in the clear. Get Nadia out of town, feed the FBI a few more tidbits of information, and she’d be done with the cartel for good. Well, that plan is quickly foiled when Ramona intercepts Thony and Nadia, finishing the job herself. With Nadia gone, Thony is convinced that she’s next, but Ramona has other plans.

Announcing Season 4 for The Cleaning Lady with a New Showrunner at the Helm Fox has officially renewed the crime drama The Cleaning Lady for a fourth season, as confirmed by reports from various sources. This decision was influenced by the show’s adaptation to challenges and changes throughout its previous seasons, including dealing with the loss of Adan Canto, who played a significant role as Arman Morales and sadly passed due to cancer. A Shift in Leadership While the renewal was anticipated, it’s not without substantial changes. Leadership shifts are paramount among these adjustments; Miranda Kwok, who originally developed the

Fox 2024-25 Fall Lineup: Rescue Hi-Surf Gets Post Super Bowl Slot; Accused & 9-1-1: Lone Star Return
Fox was busy over the weekend.
They renewed their remaining drama, The Cleaning Lady, for a 12-episode third season under new showrunners, to start.
The Cleaning Lady, which suffered a great loss when leading man Adan Canto died, was forced to pivot midseason, and it will be pivoting again for its third season.
While we don’t have details, perhaps divesting the original creative team from being so closely related to their story will give the show an opportunity to thrive.
Today, Fox will unveil its content slate for the 2024-2025 television season to the national advertising community during its in-person Upfront Presentation at the Manhattan Center.
That means we get the information on that schedule now and can add the videos after the execs reveal them later this evening.

Fox is moving “Family Guy” to midseason, marking the first time the animated staple hasn’t been on the network’s fall schedule since 2005 (when it returned to the air after being canceled for a few years). That’s one of the major shifts to come this fall as Fox announced a 2024-2025 lineup that includes two new dramas and a new animated series in the fall, with more freshman launches to come in midseason.
New dramas include lifeguard actioner “Rescue: Hi-Surf,” from executive producer John Wells, which will air Mondays at 9 p.m. Et behind “9-1-1: Lone Star” and crime procedural “Murder in a Small Town,” which will run Tuesdays at 9 p.m., paired with Season 2 of anthology series “Accused.” Later in the season will premiere medical drama “Doc,” based on the Italian series “Doc — Nelle tue mani” and starring Molly Parker.

After airing only two drama series for all of the 2023-24 season, Fox is planning to double that number in the fall.
The network unveiled its 2024-25 schedule Monday morning — after skipping the usual rite of spring the past two years — ahead of its upfront presentation to advertisers in the afternoon. The slate includes two nights of drama programming on Monday and Tuesday, a return to Fox’s scheduling pattern from seasons before last year’s dual labor strikes shut down production on scripted series and led the network to an all-reality schedule on weeknights.
The early part of the week will be anchored by two shows that took the 2023-24 season off. Fox’s longest-running current drama, 911: Lone Star, will lead into newcomer Rescue: Hi-Surf, executive produced by John Wells, on Mondays. For the first time in three years, Fox is unveiling a fall schedule at its upfront, reverting to the decades-old tradition of presenting a fall lineup to advertisers in May.
And for the first time since Family Guy was brought back from cancellation by Fox 19 years ago, Seth MacFarlane’s animated hit, which just celebrated its 25th anniversary, won’t be on the network’s fall schedule. It is one of 8 new and returning scripted series held for midseason — including Animal Control, The Cleaning Lady and Alert — which is as many as there are on Fox’s fall schedule. The network likely is plotting a major midseason rollout using its Super Bowl broadcast as a promotional platform.
Also, for the first time in five years, there is no WWE SmackDown on Fridays as the network is replacing the departing wrestling franchise with sports coverage of college football and basketball as well as Ufl.

Exclusive: It came down to the wire but the last outstanding scripted series on the Big 4 broadcast networks has learned its fate. Fox has handed a Season 4 renewal to The Cleaning Lady, starring Élodie Yung. According to sources, the order is for 12 episodes.
While expected, the renewal was not straight-forward and comes with a showrunner change, Deadline has learned. The crime drama, a co-production between Warner Bros. Fox will keep its Missing Persons Unit on the job for another season.

Some of this TV season’s blood has already been spilled — looking at you, “NCIS: Hawai’i” — but as we head toward upfronts week, there are still a number of broadcast shows “on the bubble.”
But as the networks settle in on a diet of mostly stable franchises and fewer series pilots, there’s also less primetime schedule frenzy this year. The days before upfronts week which would normally mean a rapid fire few days of broadcast series renewals and cancellations announcements. But normal left the building a long time ago.
The broadcast network portion of upfronts has been so significantly pared down from years past that it hardly resembles what it used to be. These days, most of the broadcast networks announce renewals and cancellations well ahead of their actual presentations.
Take CBS, which has already announced its new fall and spring schedules as well as all of its renewals and cancellations.

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for The Cleaning Lady Season 3 Episode 8, “Know Thy Enemy.”] Thony will avenge Arman if it’s the last thing she does in The Cleaning Lady. Series star Élodie Yung tells TV Insider that following Arman’s (the late Adan Canto) death in Episode 6, Thony has become a woman obsessed with “revenge,” and it will continue to affect her relationships with everyone in the show. “She wants to take Ramona down,” Yung says of Arman’s aunt, played by Kate del Castillo. This vitriol is the result of Thony’s theory that Ramona is somehow tied to Arman’s kidnapping. Ramona, a cartel boss, was hellbent on getting her nephew back throughout the first half of the season, but Thony suspected an insidious truth lying beneath Ramona’s familial facade. In Season 3 Episode 8, which aired on Tuesday, April 30 on Fox, Thony’s suspicions seemed to be confirmed when she found Ramona and...
