In recent years, Netflix has made a lot of changes to its standard operating procedures, and one that is becoming increasingly part of its release plans is breaking up series into blocks. The world’s largest streaming service will release the second half of “Bridgerton” Season 3 in June looking to capitalize on the success of the first four episodes that were released last month. Also coming to the streaming giant this month will be the final season of fantasy drama series “Sweet Tooth,” the Glen Powell-led action comedy “The Hitman” and much more.
Netflix offers three different subscription options, on the low end is the Standard With Ads option for just $6.99 per month. However, if you prefer your streaming without commercial interruptions, you can opt for the Standard plan for $15.49 monthly or the Premium option for $22.99.

When a show stays on air long enough, it becomes your friend of sorts. All the characters become close to you, you root for them with all your heart, you wish them well when they need it and you yell at your screen something like “go to hell” when somebody wrongs your favorite cast member.
NCIS fans definitely experienced a lot of different emotions during the show’s run, and even today the series continues making them all too emotional. Although many characters have come and go over the years, the love towards the show never faded away.
But of course there were some episodes over all these years that were just too hard to handle and made fans ugly cry for the entire weekend and sometimes more. Here are just three of them.

Netflix’s list of new releases for June 2024 look suspiciously like last month’s.
That’s because the biggest item on the schedule is Bridgerton season 3 once again. The final four episodes of Bridgerton‘s third season will premiere on June 13. Polin fans everywhere, rejoice! Other TV items of note this month include the third and final season of Sweet Tooth (June 6), Worst Roommate Ever season 2 (June 26), and That ’90s Show Part 2 (June 28).
Bridgerton aside, Netflix’s original movie options this month might be even more impressive than the TV slate. Richard Linklater’s Hitman, which stars Glen Powell as the titular assassin, premieres on June 7. That will be followed by documentary Black Barbie on June 19, the Jessica Alba-starring Trigger Warning on June 21, and romcom A Family Affair on June 28
Here’s everything else coming to Netflix this month. Note that Netflix marks its international offerings with that respective country’s two-letter country code.

The series chronicles the literary scandal that sparked a fallout between writer Truman Capote and a high-society group of women, known as his “Swans.”
Feud was Williams’ final role. The veteran actor had wrapped production shortly before he died in a tragic motorcycle accident on June 12, 2023 in Dorset, Vt. He was 71.

The runaway success of Suits on Netflix in 2023 gave the show the biggest year ever in the short history of streaming viewing measurement. It also headlined a banner year for library series (aka shows that ended their run years ago) across a number of platforms: The top 10 overall titles in Nielsen’s year-end rankings are all acquired shows, the first time that’s happened in the four years streaming rankings have been publicly available.
Viewers spent a lot more time on streaming platforms last year than the year before — streaming use rose by 21 percent, according to Nielsen — and licensed shows are responsible for a lot of that increased time. The top 10 original streaming series last year combined drove 133.6 billion minutes of viewing, accounting for about two-thirds of 2022’s top 10 original shows (198.3 billion minutes). Top 10 Most-Watched Suits Of 2023: Suits, The Big Bang Theory, Friends & More! (Photo Credit – IMDb)
There were a lot of streaming options in 2023. But one of the biggest blessings was the resurgence of Meghan Markle, Gabriel Macht, and Patrick J Adams starrer Suits. Thanks to Netflix’s aggressive marketing strategy, the legal drama series that ended in 2019 is back in the news. Not only that, but it is 2023’s most-watched show, surpassing The Big Bang Theory, Friends, and others. Scroll below for all the details!
Many factors led to the popularity of Suits growing all over again in 2023. It is undeniable that the characters are kickass, the dialogues are witty, and the plots are highly engaging. There is also a huge curiosity around Meghan Markle, who left her acting career, married Prince Harry, and is now the Duchess of Sussex. Netflix dropped the series in June, and the response was phenomenal.

After a record-breaking run atop the streaming charts in the summer and fall, Suits can claim one more milestone at the end of 2023: It’s the most-streamed show over the course of a year in the (admittedly brief) history of Nielsen’s rankings.
It was a huge year for library series — which claimed all of the top 10 overall spots in the year-end rankings — but there was a big upset among original series. Ted Lasso was the most viewed original show across the platforms Nielsen measures despite running on the one with the fewest subscribers, Apple TV+. It’s the first show that doesn’t stream on Netflix to take a No. 1 ranking among either original or acquired series in the four-year history of Nielsen’s year-end charts.
Streaming volume grew by 21 percent in 2023, Nielsen says, with U.S. TV viewers spending the equivalent of more than 21 million years watching streaming — a shade over 11 trillion minutes,...

In a report analyzing TV viewership in the U.S. throughout 2023, Nielsen found that “Suits” beat a record previously held by “The Office” for number of minutes watched in a single year.
The legal drama racked up 57.7 billion total minutes watched in 2023, putting it just ahead of the 57.1 billion minutes of viewership accumulated by “The Office” in 2020. When comparing total time watched, though, projects with more episodes and/or longer episodes stand at an obvious advantage. The entirety of “Suits” runs for about 83 hours, which would mean it had an easier time reaching that 57 billion-minute mark than “The Office” did with about 73 hours of content.
Still, both the old record and the new one speak to Netflix’s ubiquity in the streaming landscape. “The Office” aired its final episode on NBC in 2013 but continued to reach a huge audience until it was removed from Netflix at the start of 2021 and...

Mark Harmon’s family is as familiar with the entertainment industry as Harmon himself is. But how many members of the Harmon family contributed to his most popular show?
How many of the Harmons can you find on ‘NCIS’? ‘NCIS’ star Mark Harmon | Arturo Holmes/Getty Images
NCIS has become a bit of a family affair over the years. Harmon’s eldest son, Sean Harmon, was the first of his family to appear in the long-running series. Sean has portrayed a younger version of Harmon’s Jethro Gibbs on several occasions. He first appeared in the season 6 episode “Heartland” through flashbacks. Afterwards, portraying a young Jethro Gibbs became a tradition for Sean. He’d later appear in a couple more NCIS episodes like “Mother’s Day” and “Deliverance” to name a few.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight (via Express), Harmon reflected on his son’s involvement in NCIS, and how it came to be.

As the aftereffects of the writers’ and actors’ strikes hit streaming in a big way, there’s not a lot of new content to offer subscribers early in 2024. Hulu still has some interesting things to offer in January, though.
The biggest new Hulu Original series in the new year is Death and Other Details, a locked room murder mystery starring Mandy Patinkin as Rufus Cotesworth, who is said to be the world’s greatest detective – at least in this universe. In the new series, Cotesworth comes to the rescue when an unfortunate soul is killed on lavish Mediterranean ocean liner, and he has to team up with the prime suspect (Violett Beane) to solve the crime.
The big Original movie premiere in January is Self Reliance, which follows a middle-aged dude (Jake Johnson) who gets randomly invited into a limo by Brooklyn Nine-Nine star Andy Samberg, and is soon offered...

In the wake of a Donald Trump presidency in 2016, in addition to the rise of anti-Gay legislation which posed a threat to the marriage equality decision in Obergefell v. For only the second time since mid-June, Suits is not the No. 1 title in Nielsen’s streaming rankings.
That honor belongs to Netflix’s The Fall of the House of Usher, which snagged the top spot for the week of Oct. 9-15. Writer-director Mike Flanagan’s spin on the titular Edgar Allan Poe story (and several others by the author) drew 1.23 billion minutes of viewing, edging out the 1.13 billion for Suits.
The latter series continued its months-long run above the billion-minute mark, however, and has now compiled almost 44.4 billion minutes (about 739.8 million hours) of viewing on Netflix and Peacock since it first hit the rankings in June. Nielsen notes that viewing of Suits’ ninth and final season, which is only available on Peacock, accounted for 6 percent of the weekly tally (about 67.6 million minutes) — the highest percentage for those episodes since the other eight seasons debuted on Netflix.

By the time the final episode of The Office aired on May 16, 2013, the NBC sitcom already had inked lucrative TV syndication deals. And its parent company, NBCUniversal, had decided to sell the streaming rights, too, to Netflix. Over the next few years, Netflix’s subscriber base discovered the show, ultimately forcing NBCU to buy back the rights for $500 million and make it a centerpiece of its new streaming service Peacock.
Since 2013, there has been a whole lot of change in the streaming space. But you might not know it if you look at the streaming ratings charts. Once again, Suits, an NBCUniversal show, is finding new life on Netflix, as the service reestablishes itself as the place to find TV shows and movies from every company.

Suits‘ three-month stranglehold on the top of the Nielsen streaming charts has come to an end.
Netflix’s Virgin River moved ahead of Suits and claimed the No. 1 overall spot for the week of Sept. 11-17. The drama, whose fifth season premiered Sept. 7, improved by 7 percent from the previous week with 2.05 billion minutes of viewing. Suits, meanwhile, slipped by 19.5 percent to a still very strong 1.9 billion minutes and was second overall. The former USA Network series had spent the previous 12 weeks at No. 1.
The Morning Show became the third Apple TV+ series (after Ted Lasso and Hijack) to make the streaming rankings. It finished eighth among original series for the week of its season three premiere with 350 million minutes of viewing. Netflix’s German thriller Dear Child moved up to second among originals with 720 million minutes.
On the movie charts, Elemental scored a big streaming debut on Disney+ with 1.73 billion minutes of viewing.

Back in 2017, BuzzFeed writer Adam Ellis wrote out a ghost story (which he swears is completely true) on Twitter, and that story caught so much attention that there was soon talk of a movie adaptation. The project, titled Dear David, was first set up at New Line Cinema in 2018, then made its way over to Lionsgate. Now Lionsgate is gearing up to give Dear David a theatrical, digital, and VOD release on October 13th – and to promote the release, a clip from the movie has arrived online. You can watch it in the embed above.
Anna and the Apocalypse‘s John McPhail has directed the film from a screenplay by Mike Van Waes. The cast of Dear David is headed up by Augustus Prew (Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series), Justin Long (Tusk), Rene Escobar Jr. (Heartland), Cameron Nicoll (Stolen by Their Father), and Andrea Bang (A Million Little Things...
