Mike and Gloria sent them champagne but they would not have done this at 1 am, if anything it would have been waiting in the room when they arrived, as would the gift basket from the manager.

Archie and Edith celebrate their 25th
It is Archie and Edith's 25th anniversary, Edith arranges for them to spend it in the same Atlantic City hotel as their wedding night but Archie wants to go to a Knicks game.
This is one of the best episodes to mix laughs and sentiment. Edith shows some rare assertiveness when she tells Archie he is not going to the basketball game, Archie is surprised but gives in. The scenes in the hotel are some of the greatest between Archie and Edith as they reminisce about how life has gone. The biggest laugh comes when Archie pops a bottle of champagne and Edith thinks it's Archie having gas! The final kiss between them is one of the series most touching moments.
