But what begins simply as strange quickly devolves into a full fledged nightmare when Gorcha returns, seemingly no longer himself...

Evanescence are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their seminal 2003 album Fallen with a Super Deluxe Edition box set and expanded vinyl and CD reissues, arriving November 17th via Craft Recordings.
Each format includes various demos, outtakes, B-sides, and live recordings from the Fallen era, including a previously unreleased demo of the band’s massive hit “Bring Me to Life” that can be streamed below.
Amy Lee and company pulled out all the stops for the Super Deluxe Edition box set, which includes the standard 2-lp reissue and a box-set-exclusive cassette featuring unreleased demos and voice notes. It’s a boon for Evanescence completionists, as any Fallen-era rarities and demos have only surfaced on obscure bootlegs up to this point.
Additional ephemera in the box set includes a book featuring new track-by-track notes from Lee, a turntable slipmat emblazoned with the band’s logo, a double-sided poster, and an enamel pin set.

Now all existing Api developers with a history of successful payments can access the Gpt-4 Api with 8,000 contexts, plus the company plans to open up access to new developers by the end of this month, and then start raising rate limits after that depending on compute availability.
“Millions of developers have requested access to the Gpt-4 Api since March, and the range of innovative products leveraging Gpt-4 is growing every day,” OpenAI said.

We’ll be seeing more of Big L, Duffy and Derrick on the upcoming second season of Katori Hall’s Starz series P-Valley. Morocco Omari (Empire), Dominic DeVore (The Ride) and Jordan M. Cox (The Outsider), who recurred as the characters, respectively, in Season 1, have been promoted to series regulars for Season 2.
Based on Hall’s play Pussy Valley, P-Valley Season 2 returns to the Mississippi Delta, where lies an oasis of grit and glitter in a rough patch of human existence where beauty can be hard to find. The hourlong drama tells the kaleidoscopic story of a “little strip club that could” and the big characters who come through its doors — the hopeful, the lost, the broken, the ballers, the beautiful and the damned. Trap music meets film noir in this lyrical and atmospheric series that dares to ask what happens when small-town folk dream beyond the boundaries of the Piggly Wiggly and the pawnshop.

The first half of season five has come to a close and wow, there is so much to unpack.
Dan has done as the archangel Michael has directed him, and shot Lucifer.
Chloe is not happy.
Chloe: What the hell are you doing?!
Dan: What am I doing? What are you doing? He’s the Devil, and you’ve known about it all this time?
Lucifer: I have never hidden my devil-ness from anyone.
Permalink: I've never hidden my devilness. Added: August 20, 2020
Luckily for Lucifer, this is the time when he suddenly becomes invulnerable again, so he doesn't die.
Not only is he indestructible again, but he has his mojo back, too. What does that mean for him and Chloe? Has he decided not to be vulnerable around her anymore?
This is not the only question on Chloe's mind during Lucifer Season 5 Episode 8. She is also questioning their arrest of the Whisper Killer.

Predictably, much of the conversation focused on health and safety concerns, and Garaude outlined some ways Mipcom is adapting, while acknowledging that other changes are likely to come in the intervening months.
Traffic flow in the exhibition hall will be regulated and additional entrances and exits added. Conference halls will be limited to 50% capacity and cleaned and sterilized for 45 minutes between presentations. Facemasks will be mandatory and hand sanitizer will be widely available. Exclusive: Sony Pictures Television is on the brink of investing in Eleven, the British production company behind Netflix smash hit Sex Education, Deadline can reveal.
Sources tell us that Sony is close to taking a significant stake in Eleven, beating a host of potential suitors who were keen to partner with one of the hottest pieces of production real estate in the UK.
Deadline understands that production groups including All3Media looked at Eleven during a competitive situation. Rumors have also been rife in the UK that Netflix cast an eye over the company, even though the streamer has previously denied that it is getting into the acquisitions game.
Sony will buyout Channel 4’s 20% stake in Eleven after the British broadcaster first invested in the company in 2014 as part of its Indie Growth Fund initiative. It’s not yet clear if Sony is taking a minority or controlling stake in Eleven.

It’s hard to explain the cycle of emotions prompted by permanently leaving one’s home country to someone who has never had to do it. Pangs of guilt, loyalty, resentment and yearning chase each other in turn, oblivious to the fact that your motherland is returning no feelings in kind. Eventually, enough time passes that you realize you’re nostalgic for a place that doesn’t exist anymore: You’ve both grown, and your country, as it belonged to you and you to it, is fixed only in your memory. That continuing ache is articulated with lovely, delicate precision in “In a Whisper,” who know it all too well: Heidi Hassan and Patricia Pérez Fernández, childhood friends from Cuba whose paths have diverged in the larger confusion of Europe.
As such, “In a Whisper” is not just a story of immigrant alienation, but of intimate personal estrangement, as Hassan...

Abrams Artists Agency is closing out 2018 with two signings: former BuzzFeed staffer-turned-indie creator Michelle Khare and the Canadian duo behind The Sorry Girls craft and Diy channel -- Becky Wright and Kelsey MacDermaid.
The Sorry Girls have amassed 1.5 million YouTube subscribers since launching their channel as college students in 2010 -- so named for the stereotype that Canadians tend to be overapologetic. This week, the girls launched a podcast called A Little About A Lot in collaboration with audio platform Anchor. On the show, Wright and MacDermaid discuss their personal lives and their struggles with maintaining relationships (Wright is married) and dating (MacDermaid is single). They also answer audience questions and will welcome special guests.
Khare, for her part, is an actress and trained stunt artist -- on top of her burgeoning YouTube channel, where her comedic and lifestyle vlogs have attracted over 1 million subscribers. Khare starred in the horror short Whisper,...

Exclusive: Amblin Partners is closing a deal to turn the horror short Whisper into a feature film. Julian Terry, who directed the short, is finalizing a deal to helm the movie.
The Picture Company partners Andrew Rona and Alex Heineman are producing. Bryce McGuire will write the script. The short is a scary scenario in which household tech devices are used as a gateway for a supernatural entity that has scores to settle. Sources say the feature version has a Poltergeist feel which seems a good fit for Amblin. The producers shopped the package last week and Amblin execs Andrew Calof and Jeb Brody moved quickly to secure it.
The short lasts just long enough to create a scare, and its brevity and proof of concept makes it reminiscent of shorts like Mama, the Spanish short film that launched the careers of It‘s Andy and Barbara Muschietti.

The story revolves around a mysterious presence called "The Sound" that once heard by anyone has terrible consequences. Sources say the expanded feature will have the Alfred Hitchcock classic The Birds and Stephen King’s adaptation It as touchstones. Time Bomb was a particularly bloody episode of Gotham, but it balanced the gore by tying together multiple plotlines in satisfying ways. Though, in many ways, Time Bomb felt like a transitionary ep — Mario and Lee race closer to the altar, Bruce and Selina discuss their relationship, the noose tightens on Oswald's secret — it was elegantly told, which is something Gotham can't often boast.
Ed has gone from lovebird mode to depressed lump to heartbroken vengeance mode in zero seconds flat. Again, I would be a bit more invested in this storyline if Isabella wasn't a plot device and she and...

USA’s new genre-bending series Colony is part espionage thriller, part family drama with a dash of sci-fi, but don’t obsess over the aliens — because they may not even be aliens, says co-creator Ryan Condal (Hercules). Set in the near future in Los Angeles, the show, premiering January 14, centers on one family’s struggle for survival as they are torn by opposing forces: the collaborators and the resistance of an occupation that took place nine months earlier and which has divided the city into three separate blocks. Colony stars Josh Holloway (Lost, Intelligence) and Sarah Wayne Callies (Prison Break, The Walking Dead) as a married couple who were separated from one of their three children during the occupation. Vulture spoke with Holloway and Callies about working together again, the non-alien aliens, and the bruises on her leg. How did working together on Whisper help you embark on a new...

Well, they sure tricked us all with the title of this episode, didn't they?
We didn't learn "The Name of the Doctor," but with the return of the much beloved River Song, she was able to use it to open a secret passage to his tomb to save the lives of his friends. We finally learned the fate of River and a bit more information on The Impossible Girl, Clara Oswald. Let's dive into The Doctor's life path, shall we?
It was such a fun catch how they imported Clara into scenes featuring The Doctors of yore. They didn't return, per se, but were included in the episode in a way that allowed an explanation as to why Clara was the Impossible Girl. Exactly what an Impossible Girl is, we don't know, but my supposition is she's been the silent companion of every Doctor all along.

Halo is not a game that we would normally cover at FEARnet, but with the upcoming release of the Machinima web series Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, we thought we’d make an exception due to the involvement of Stewart Hendler, the director behind movies like Sorority Row and Whisper. Hendler is giving a darker take on the Halo mythology in the prequel web series, delivering his take on both genres. We got to chat with him recently regarding Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, gaming, and his plans for the future.

The cinematic treatment of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde has been varied. Fredric March’s benchmark portrayal of the character in 1931 remains the high water mark, though Spencer Tracy has tried his hand at it and the less said about 1995′s Dr Jekyll & Ms Hyde the better. The main point here is that it has been a really long time since the story was told well on the big screen. Cameos for Jekyll & Hyde in Lxg and Van Helsing did what is a fascinating and complex character scant justice and so Hammer Films enter the fray.
Off the back of Let Me In, The Resident, Wakewood and The Woman In Black, Hammer are now eying a remake of the Jekyll & Hyde tale, currently working with the title “Wake”. Such an unarresting title seems an odd choice, given how well known the name Jekyll is, but to each their own.

In his first major screen role since wrapping the ABC show, Holloway is in final negotiations to act as a member of the Impossible Mission Force, the secret agent task force headed by Tom Cruise in Paramount's "Mission: Impossible 4."
Holloway boards the ever-growing Brad Bird-directed pic, whose cast, in addition to Cruise, already includes Jeremy Renner, Paula Patton and Vladimir Mashkov as well as franchise vets Ving Rhames and Simon Pegg.
Story details are being kept in a self-destructable vault thus no information on Holloway's character was available.
J.J. Abrams, who is producing with Cruise and Paula Wagner, worked on the story with scribes Andre Nemec and Josh Appelbaum, who have written the screenplay.
The production is scouting locations in Vancouver, Prague and Dubai for a fall shoot with an eye towards a December 2011 release.

Get Him To The Greek - Movie Pass Giveaway
I am hoping this is the movie I need.
It’s almost June and I have yet to see a film that just wants to be funny. We’ve had countless blockbusters, animated films, chick flicks, but where has the comedy been? If MacGruber is any indication I know that a lot of people have stayed away from movies that only purport to be a fun romp. Here’s to wishing that the latest from Nicholas Stoller delivers on the idea that this will be the vehicle that properly channels Russell Brand’s unique comedic aesthetic.
For those living in Arizona I have a stack of passes to see Greek on Tuesday, June 1st at 7:00 p.

Now Marsh is going after the top dogs of the Catholic Church with The Vatican Tapes. - I include myself among those who was impressed by his dark, direct blow to the role of religion and the church in The King (a show of hands for those who feel the same). Now Marsh is going after the top dogs of the Catholic Church with The Vatican Tapes. Reading some of the Telluride coverage, I was under the impression that James Marsh' re-introduction to fiction (Red Riding: 1980) form didn't go as well as the tons of accolades he received for perhaps the most well-liked doc film in the past decade...
