"Ciao L.A." is a 6.5-minute comedy video from over 20 years ago and basically a little add-on to the Beastie Boys's song and music video "Sabotage". The characters from the video (i.e. the Beastie Boys in costume) show up in a talk show and are interviewed by the two female hosts. One of them is Sofia Coppola (love her "Lost in Translation"), at this point not yet the wife of Spike Jonze, who directed the music video I mentioned earlier as well as this little video here. There is a touch of Jerry Springer to it at times, but sadly, all in all I did not find this one as funny and entertaining as I hoped. Interesting watch for the prominent cast, but not really for the contents. Thumbs down.
