Favourite Show right now!
got_a_penny14 February 2005
Warning: Spoilers
One night, bored and alone in my house, I was flipping through the channels and I stumbled across this show. I was expecting one of those classic overly cheesy (and generally bad) YTV shows that that station simply must be infamous for by now. Instead, what I found was a rather interesting, and of course, overly cheesy YTV show. But I ended up being really drawn to the characters. This is not just my random attraction to Squib talking either. I have actual emotions invested into this show, and frankly, that's always a good thing. Without a doubt, the saddest moment in 15/love history is the death of Meghan and Sebastien. This two part episode occurred because the actors portraying them actually passed on in real life. Them being my age adds an extra feeling of sadness. None the less, the show is well done, and if they must replace these two amazing people with anyone, I'm glad they replaced them with Tannis and Cameron. (No matter how much I loved Meghan and Sebastien, and desperately wished for the romance between the two to finally take off...)

15/love a real heartwarming show
ashleyrules1513 December 2005
Well where to start? OK well sometime in May my dad was watching 15/lvoe cuz there was nothing else on so i sat down and watched it with him and to my deepest surprise i enjoyed it a lot so i kept watching it and now in December i am so totally addicted 8 months of addiction to the show and i still am, i got addicted very fast i totally love the relationships goign on here especially codya nd squib i love there realtionship so much it is so cute.

OK now about the show This show is a teen drama show, it is about kids going to a tennis school and trying to become tennis stars, but along the way they deal with everything that life is about they show you that sometimes well a lot of the time you have to do your best to succeed to the best of your ability to make things happen which means you have to try, try and try again and much more.Personally i found this show to be one of the best i have watched, it deals with everything that i am going through being 14 year old girl, and that and a whole bunch of kids are going through out there. It has Love,Family,Sadness,Problems and more. When i watch the show i feel an odd attraction to it, some times it makes me feel like i'm right there watching the scene in real life thats how much it really gives to people. This show is spectacular, and the cast are amazing, all of them new and old, personally i think they are great actors/actresses because they feel there part and get into it. Its filled with love and compassion for life itself. They've even went through death and they still carry on with a wonderful show and you can tell that the characters love what they do because they seem to be happy deeply inside.I think the characters are wonderful they all seem like they have a big heart and care a lot for people and there fans. Even though it is just another T.V show it really doesn't seem like one it seems like an actually scenario in daily life and sometimes gets you very emotional like when something bad happens a lot of the fans cry from what i have heard because they make it seem so real and everything.Overall i think this is a show to watch i promise if you watch it you won't regret watching it.

I also want to say thank you to the cast and creators of this show for making it what it is.

sincerely

this show is amazing
lier_gurl45225 June 2006
i first started watching 15love by accident really,it was on before what i like about you and it first caught my attention because of the quirkiness of the characters and there accents. Although i saw parts of the first episode like 6 seconds the first steady attention i payed to it was episode 6, the famous kissing scene between squib and Cody. i fell in love with it! the deaths of Megan and Sebastian were written so beautifully into the series, the two episodes dealing with it were real enough to make me bawl for 60 min straight but also not to much that i had to turn off the TV. any real super 15love fan knows all the little words or extra's or secrets to almost every episode after that paying tribute to Jaclyn and vadim. vadim's brother was an extra in the first episode of season 2,along with a friend of Jaclyn's. through its two seasons the show has been funny, sad, romantic, real and always irresistible. i recommend it to anyone and i can't wait till July 3rd for the 3rd season!!!!

Boring
lilac63628 August 2011
At first, I found the show charming. Then as the later seasons came I realized that nothing really interesting was happening. The characters became dull and the acting also lost something. Some episodes didn't even focus on what I THOUGHT was the main focus; tennis. I know, I know, just because tennis is an important part of the show doesn't mean it has to be in every episode, but still. I started to feel like they were straying away from everything in order to create new plot lines that would usually only last three seconds.

Like I said before; the story just got dull. It was just the same people with the same problems. There was little character development (since the plane crash) and eventually Laurence Laboeuf's acting started getting on my nerves (her narratives were quite dry).

If you really need something to watch and there is nothing on TV aside from 15 Love, watch it. Under any other circumstances, you might as well skip it.

Not What You Expected
hehehe_datsmahevillarf13 November 2007
15/love... oh where to start. It truly is not what you expect it to be. The stereotype is: Tennis show; jocks running around in minimal clothing pegging tennis balls at one another, and romances playing everyone hot and cold (including slash and fem slash pairings) But really, it's nothing of the sort. In essence, there is one beautiful character (which there would have to be - face it), and the rest are healthy young adults who take care of their bodies (I bring this up because anorexia is such a huge problem for teens in today's society) Amongst some major plot twists and in the huge themes which are well constructed and played, there are some addictive romances, quirky characters and brilliant dialogue that change your perspective entirely. In what I thought would be a good way to kill half an hour, I found myself in for a ride that would make me laugh, smile, cry and yell, and still make me think about the underlying themes. Truly not what you expect at all

It was one of those shows
ThunderKing69 November 2021
It was one of those shows that came on after the good/favourite shows ended. Or it was sometimes one of those late night shows that came on when everyone, went to bed. This show was your cue to either turn the tv off or change the channel. At the same time I like 15/love because of the nostalgia of watching the iCONIC YTV.

15/Love is a teen soap opera about the usual hash like love, drama, foolishness, relationships. This time it was surrounded by Tennis. A rich man game. 15/Love was also a British Show. It was an okay show. I only have respect for it because it was part of my iCONIC TV era.

Verdict: Deuce.

Yah, it's kinda cool: it works
samantha-cohen10 September 2005
'15/Love' is a mix of 'Degrassi Junior High', an MTV music video and a tamed-for-television version of those modern movie classics 'Fast Times at Ridgemount High' and 'Animal House'. Like the kids at Degrassi students at 15/Love's Cascadia face common teen and preteen problems: first love, competition, vanity, peer pettiness, and, of course, those intrusive, overbearing, rule-making adults. Many of the program's 'filmic' techniques--off-angle camera shots, zooms and pans, funky scene transitions, etc.--share the speedy cadence and rock-and-roll feel of MTV videos. Now, this character 'Squib' is neither a Sean Penn 'Spicoli' nor a (may he forever smirk in peace!) John Belushi 'Bluto Blutarskyto', yet he certainly does share their absolute irreverence for authority, their ravenous appetite for shenanigans, and their uncanny ability to succeed in spite of, or in most cases, because of themselves ... and yes there is a food fight. I liked the show enough to register at the 15love.tv site and found games to play, stuff to win and thriving online viewer community. Wow, this show IS popular. Yah, it's kinda cool: it works and I'll keep watching. OUT.

new season
jardindyf8 September 2005
I was worried after Jaclyn and Vadim died that the new season would suck but after watching the first episode on Monday, I think it'll be better! And they worked on their site some more too, great pictures from behind the scenes though they could have a tribute for Sebastien and Megan thats a big thing missing, they should have made a tribute.

But whatever I'm totally loving Cody, the actors aren't the best but their hot and I hope they put them all on DVD, you'll see when you watch it you'll want the DVDs too!

You'll fall in love with the characters, it's funny and pretty much the comment above is right on.

Cool new favorite
hogband7 October 2005
I actually got started when a friend sent me to play the games on the website www.15love.tv, but then I checked out the behind the scenes stuff and the trailers and thought it might be worth it to give the show a shot. The characters are pretty stereotyped but that's what makes for good comedy and they have just enough depth to provide some good drama from time to time. New characters are being introduced, in part because 2 of them died (and to whoever said the official site should have a tribute, they DO) but also because 2 others are leaving. The pace is fast and the show really jumps at you, so if like me you want some off-time after a long Monday, the show's perfect.

My favourite show!
extreme_sugar31 August 2005
I watched this show a few months ago, just sort of on a whim, and totally loved it. Unfortuently, due to my schedule, I was unable to continue watching. When my schedule relaxed a bit this summer, I was pleased to find the show was on at 9 am on the W Network. so, I've watched it ever since, and have become totally hooked. I am a total Squib/ Cody shipper, and I think the characters in the show seem so real and personable that I would love to just hang out with them. Like the effect this show has on other people, I desperately want to take up tennis now, even though I am athletically challenged in almost every way. A definite must see programme. If you live somewhere that it doesn't air in, I would suggest bribing a Canadian to ship you a recording!

Wicked Cool! Awesome show for jocks, writers or just if your a teen.
ryanmm6266 March 2006
I was laying in bed one night and was flipping around some channels. I then came to YTV and 15/Love. Strangely enough, being a lover of tennis and writing and a teen myself, this show never really appealed to me before. In all honesty, the one thing or rather, person that caught my attention was Cody(Laurence LeBoef)and I experienced my first attraction to a T.V star. But as I began to watch it more and more, I really grew an appreciation to the show. Although I find that the relationships in the show, except for Cody and Squib, are all shortlived and one-shot, the teens experience a lot of things teens nowadays feel: Competition, respect for you friends and falling in love. Quite personally, to round this off, I say move over O.C., take a hike Dawson's Creek. Teen comedy and drama, thy name is 15/Love.
