The Story of a Crippled Movie
tributarystu10 December 2004
The film is, I'm sorry to say, rubbish. I respect the fact that it's a difficult matter to work with handicapped children and the stuff that's being talked about (in the film) isn't really enjoyable, but the result definitely isn't too much of a feel good achievement.

The story is terribly depressing and nearly distasteful at times, which makes it even harder to view the whole thing. The characters are not only sad, but also very annoying at times, while the directing is rather shallow. It should feel authentic, given that the situation is authentic, but does such a subject ever feel...real?

Something's wrong about it in principle, so by trying to capture it on picture, it only feels worse, especially when there's sloppy work at the base of it. The film does portray several difficulties with which handicapped children have to cope, but it simply isn't involving and shocking enough to be deemed as a successful cinematic experience. At best, it's a shattering human experience, but without art, all can be resumed to melodrama.

Good script, bad transcript

Noro is a story about a boy that cannot adapt to the outer world being handicapped. The plot is excellent, yet the director did not to a good job putting this movie on TV. Bad sound, and worse colour. You may want to see this movie but my advise is to not.
