Not A Good Documentary
This is simply photography of Africa and its people, the film set to music of Vangelis, Miriam Makeba, and Ladysmith Black Mambazzo. It's slightly less than an hour long. The Vangelis music was familiar to me, from the Opera Sauvage, so I enjoyed that. The vocals from the two ladies, however, were not appealing.
While some of the scenery was beautiful (sunsets and trees, mainly), the majority of it was nothing special. The whole presentation was too slow-moving, especially when it was depicting routine daily chores of the people. Overall, not what I had hoped. There are many documentaries, travelogues, etc, of Africa which are far better.
