Plot Summary

It's 1924 - the September Uprising of 1923 being crushed, it's the onset of the terrors to come. Violence, looting and vandalism reign. Krustyo, Varban, the Macedonian and Gastrolyora - all people at the edge of society, cross paths and unite to fight for their dream of liberty and equality. They know what armed power feels like and in a world where all problems are solved using violence and terror, they soon adopt these methods themselves and become robbers. Love turns into hatred, loyalty into betrayal. They die one after another, giving up on their values in the name of Judas' metal - gold. Yet, the living farce of intrigue and twists of fate goes on and on... Written by Georgi Djulgerov
