Charlie Davis spoke about investing in himself and finishing school while on Survivor 46.
He did exactly that and finished law school. Now he can begin the next chapter in his life.
Charlie became a fan-favorite Season 46 castaway, often relating Taylor Swift’s lyrics to what he was experiencing in Fiji.
It even led to a jury member ordering him not to mention Taylor Swift as he tried to get their votes.
Now back in the United States, Charlie can quote his favorite singer as often as he wants. And that happened in a recent video shared online.
Charlie shared a video where he was in the shower singing about why he was saddened by Maria Gonzalez not voting for him. Of course, Taylor Swift’s music was playing.

Survivor 46 recently ended with three people hoping for jury votes.
And while only two people got votes, it doesn’t mean the show should revert to a final two.
For the New Era, one person wins the final Immunity Challenge and gets to choose a second person to join them in the final three.
The Immunity Challenge winner must also decide which two people battle in a Fire-Making Challenge.
It leads to three people sitting at the end for the eight-person jury to vote on.
Some Survivor fans feel that only two people in front of the jury would be a better solution.
Why it’s better to have a final three than a final two
When Survivor has a final three, it usually ensures that two deserving candidates have made it to the end. There could still be an obvious one-sided choice by the jury, but at least they must mull their votes.

Kenzie Petty, whose fire-making moment in the May 22 Survivor finale helped her secure the title of Sole Survivor, is relieved that she can finally discuss winning season 46. The salon owner, 29, managed to keep her victory a secret for nearly a year — from when the season filmed in June 2023 until the finale aired. Kenzie delayed her June wedding to compete on season 46 and got married after returning. She’s now expecting her first baby in September. Talking to People about her future with Survivor, Kenzie said, Never say never, but noted that she feels she has...

Many Survivor fans have been sharing their support of Charlie Davis on social media.
Now Charlie has taken to Instagram to thank his fans, family, friends, and fellow castaways for supporting him on the journey.
Charlie also wrote glowingly about his girlfriend and the production team at Survivor.
Charlie’s thankful Instagram post includes photos from Fiji and when he returned to the United States.
Many Survivor 46 castaways are featured in Charlie’s photo dump – and so are some very organized bookshelves.
“Survivor fans – please do not read any drama into this photo selection. I have so many photos, too many for one post!” Charlie posted.

When Jeff Probst declared at the start of “Survivor” Season 41 that the “New Era” could best be described as, “Drop the 4, keep the 1,” he wasn’t kidding. It’s clear the host/producer envisions the revamped version of the reality TV show that takes place post-Covid and with more diversity representation as a fresh start. That’s likely why we haven’t had any players from the first 40 seasons pop up on our TV screens in a long while. In fact, the last comeback cycle was “Winners at War,” which welcomed back 20 past champions for Season 40 in 2020.

Saturday Night Live remains a hit with the youth.
The long-running NBC show, which just finished up Season 49, remained the number one entertainment series across ad-supported broadcast and cable in the 18-49 demo for the 2023-24 season.
It earned a 1.13 in the demo, beating out series such as Fox’s Krapopolis, which got a 1.1, and CBS’ Survivor and Tracker, which both got a 1.0.
This meant that the show was the number one comedy in the demo for the fifth season in a row.
This was, however, down from numbers posted over the last few years. For instance, in 2021, the show got a 2.06 in the demo. That year it drew 9 million total viewers overall in Live+7 numbers.
In the 2023/24 broadcast season, the show averaged 7.2 million viewers, per Nielsen. This was up 3% from last year.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” continued its 9th season on Friday, May 31 with the fourth episode featuring returning queens from seasons past. In the sister series “Untucked,” now in its 6th “All Stars” season, the queens throw back a cocktail and dish the dirt backstage on the latest challenge. Check out our recap of “Untucked” episode 4 below.
This week the queens competed in “Smokin’ Hot Firefighter Makeovers,” bringing a male firefighter into the fold with a makeover and dancing in a girl group performance challenge. Prior to RuPaul Charles announcing the official top two performers of the week next to earn the coveted Beautiful Benefactress Badges, the queens gathered backstage with the firefighters to reflect on the fashion-focused challenge.
For the firefighters, used to be called heroes, the drag queens were the heroes this week, as Adam put it, for being “unapologetically you guys” and being an inspiration to so many people back home.

As we head into the summer, Hulu is shaping up to be one of the most valuable streaming services to have in the month of June. Not only is one of the best shows on television returning for its third season, but the Disney-owned general entertainment platform is also launching a new comedy banner, and FX goes behind the scenes of one of the most explosive situations in recent sports history.
“The Bear” will drop all 10 of its Season 3 episodes on June 27 in what is undoubtedly one of the year’s most anticipated releases. However, that is not the only hot title coming to Hulu in June, the streamer will also launch its “Hulu’s Laughing Now” brand, the sports-focused series “Clipped” that dramatizes the downfall of Donald Sterling as the owner of the LA Clippers, and the documentary “Brats” that brings together members of the legendary Brat Pack to chronicle their rise to fame.

Survivor wrapped up its 46th season on May 22, but viewers (and several cast members) are still involved in heated debates that have become intensely personal and nasty. Now, the show itself has stepped in to remind its fanbase to embrace “kindness” and “compassion” towards the contestants, noting, “who you see on screen are real people navigating this experience.” In a rare message, the Survivor social media channels shared a statement on Thursday (May 30), that read, “One of the best things about the Survivor community is the passion, engagement and excitement around the show, gameplay and those brave enough to compete.” It continued, “So, a reminder as we watch and discuss the entertaining competition, epic blindsides and emotional journeys these players go on, remember that who you see on screen are real people navigating this experience. On May 31, 2000, CBS unveiled Survivor, a reality competition series produced by Mark Burnett that would become a juggernaut, inspiring spinoffs and imitators over the ensuing decades. The Hollywood Reporter’s original review of its season 1 premiere is below:
The concept is insulting, the presentation is deceptive and the narration is laughingly overdramatic, and yet somehow, Survivor turns all of this into intriguing television that practically dares you to click the remote, knowing that you won’t.
In the U.S. version of this British reality show, 16 people are divided into two teams and dropped off a couple hours’ swim from a remote island in the South China Sea. They are given a baffling array of supplies, including knives, fishing traps, cans of food, a map to potable water and even a team flag, but no matches or port-a-potties. Clearly, this is no three-hour tour.
At various points, island host Jeff Probst,...

Hunter McKnight finished in ninth place on Survivor 46, and now he has a video showing what happened after his torch was snuffed.
Hunter looked like someone who could win Survivor 46 early in the season. But it just wasn’t meant to be, as he also became a threat to many players.
Despite having an Immunity Idol in his pocket, Hunter got voted out at a pivotal Tribal Council on Day 17. He finished in ninth place and became the third jury member.
On finale night, Hunter voted for Charlie Davis to win. He was one of only three people who voted for Charlie, and Kenzie Petty became the Survivor 46 winner.
We didn’t see much of Ponderosa as the season progressed, as the production team stopped releasing footage.
A video has now been released that features Hunter revealing what happened next for him after Jeff Probst snuffed out his torch.

Survivor 46 players have been receiving backlash due to events from the recent season.
Maria Gonzalez is one player who has received blowback from fans who are frustrated that she didn’t vote for Charlie Davis to win.
Maria and Charlie had worked together for most of the season, but on finale night, Maria voted for Kenzie Petty to win the $1 million prize.
The Survivor 46 jury also appeared to treat Charlie and Ben Katzman harshly as the players argued about why they deserved to win.
Disagreements between castaways also surfaced on social media as the season wound down.
Venus Vafa said Ponderosa was “traumatizing” for her, leading to online feuds with several castaways. And then fans piled on.

The production team is back in Fiji to film new seasons of Survivor.
These new seasons will air in the fall and spring on CBS, and new players will compete for the $1 million prize.
During the Survivor 46 season finale, we saw the first footage from the upcoming season, but they weren’t done filming yet.
Survivor 47 and Survivor 48 will be filmed back-to-back, allowing producers to introduce new twists that players haven’t seen before.
While some Survivor fans are already looking ahead to Season 50, we still have three new seasons to play before that momentous installment.
As usual, host Jeff Probst has been teasing details about what is happening in Fiji.

Survivor 47 began filming in mid-May, even as the final episodes of Survivor 46 were debuting on CBS.

For decades, TV shows lived and died by their ratings among adults 18-49, the demographic sweet spot for advertisers to reach a wide swath of potential customers with money to spend but without the lifelong habits about how to spend it. That’s not really the case anymore as an emphasis on engagement and reach in the streaming era, along with a focus on precisely targeted ads, means chasing demos is even more data-driven than it was in the pre-streaming age. That shift aligns with the reality that, thanks to streaming and the relentless pull of algorithmic content apps, only a small part of a given show’s on-air audience falls into the once coveted demo.

Regular old CBS can still make new hits.
That’s the takeaway from Nielsen’s report on the 100 most-watched primetime broadcast and cable series of the 2023-24 season (via Variety), which lists the freshman drama series “Tracker” as TV’s top non-sports program. It’s the first time a new series has been the No. 1 show since “Survivor” in 2000, per CBS.
“Tracker” capitalized on its coveted post-Super Bowl series premiere slot and lack of new series competition in the midst of a strike-disrupted broadcast season, averaging 10.8 million total viewers per episode in Season 1 on the way to becoming the most-watched new series since “Desperate Housewives” in 2024-25. The series, which stars “This Is Us” veteran Justin Hartley as a survivalist who helps find missing persons, beat out second-place drama “NCIS” by more than a million viewers.
CBS also has the year’s top comedy series, the final season of “Young Sheldon.

TV audiences tracked down “Tracker” in a big way this season. The freshman CBS drama, which stars Justin Hartley as a survivalist who helps law enforcement and others solve tough cases, was the 2023-24 TV season’s most-watched entertainment series. According to the Eye network, that’s the first time a first-year TV series was ranked as the No. 1 show since “Survivor” premiered as an instant phenomenon in 2000.
“Tracker” was helped, of course, by premiering in February behind Super Bowl Lviii — giving it a huge jump start. And this was an unusual, truncated TV season due to the Hollywood strikes, which meant limited episodic orders for most programs. Last year’s top-rated show, Paramount Network’s “Yellowstone,” hasn’t aired an original episode in more than a year — and yet still made the charts, but via repeats that aired this season on CBS.

Survivor 46 winner Kenzie Pretty just debuted a shocking new hairstyle that shakes things up.
Survivor fans may have become familiar with Kenzie’s long red hair on the show, but that’s not her natural hair color.
After her time in Fiji, Kenzie began growing out her natural hair. It’s entirely possible that she decided to go that route instead of using hair dye.
Kenzie recently revealed that she is pregnant, so going back to her normal hair color might be a result.
The baby is with her husband, who patiently waited for her to finish playing Survivor to celebrate their union. The topic of her wedding came up during Survivor, and she mentioned that it had been pushed back.
Kenzie also noted that she hasn’t gone back to her natural color ” in about 16 years.”

When it was time to pick a winner, the Survivor 46 jury certainly had some barbs for the final three players.
Maybe it stemmed from the bitterness they were experiencing from getting blindsided with Immunity Idols in their pockets because some jury members were short with Ben Katzman and Charlie Davis.
Now, Liz Wilcox has shared her opinions on the Survivor 46 jury, which she was a part of for only 24 hours.
Liz battled her way to the final four but was forced to compete against Kenzie Petty in the Fire-Making Challenge.
Kenzie easily defeated Liz, sending Liz to the jury as the final voting member. Liz would spend the evening with the jury before returning on finale night.
Liz voted for Charlie to win, but she was outvoted, and Kenzie Petty was named the Survivor 46 winner.

Survivor fans have enjoyed the past few years when pop star Sia awarded her own money to contestants. However, Jeff Probst announced this week that Sia has chosen not to take part in giving out money anymore. While it has come to an end, one Season 46 contestant wants to personally keep this idea alive.
Here is who wants to replace Sia in awarding prize money and how they want to start this endeavor.

The Sia Prize has become a familiar post-season award to fun players from each Survivor cast.
Singer Sia had given out cash prizes to the players she most enjoyed watching each season.
Sia enjoyed rewarding several players each season, with recent winners including Kaleb Gebrewold, Jake O’Kane, Carolyn Wiger, Carson Garrett, and Elaine Stott.
Players had been getting up to $100,000 for being her favorite player in a season or $15,000 for being entertaining. And she did this for eight years.
Sia is one of the biggest Survivor fans out there, and the players getting her prize would usually get invited to meet and party with her.
But it is the end of an era, as it has been announced that Sia is done with the prizes and that nobody from the Survivor 46 cast will get one.

At one point, The Real Housewives of New Jersey was the crown jewel in the sprawling reality TV franchise.
Despite cast divisions, it remained entertaining thanks to the constant drama between the ladies.
Through just three episodes of Rhonj Season 14, the fun factor is gone, and the show is far too toxic to enjoy.
The easiest measure of success for these shows is the number of viewers watching, and with a massive ratings drop, even the most diehard fans are walking away.
The series should have had a revamp for Season 14, including many new cast members with zero links to the ladies.
At this stage, it feels like we’re watching Survivor, with Melissa Gorga and Teresa Gorga rounding people up for their tribes.

Sia will no longer dispense cash bonuses to her favorite “Survivor” players, CBS reality competition host Jeff Probst announced Friday on Instagram.
“It’s the end of one of the most unique eras in the history of ‘Survivor,’” Probst posted to his Instagram story. “After eight years, 14 seasons, 19 players and over $1,000,000 awarded, ‘Survivor’ is officially bringing the Sia Prize to a triumphant end!”
The “Chandelier” singer began her random, ultra-generous donations eight years ago at the “Survivor: Kaoh Rong” live reunion. She joined third-place finisher Tai Trang on stage and told him she was going to give him $50,000, plus another $50,000 to the charity of his choice.
“She was so taken by Tai’s commitment to protecting a chicken from being eaten that she awarded him $50,000 of her own money,” Probst recalled. Sia is a vegan. “Tai was shocked, the audience was shocked, I was shocked! What was happening? Sia was...

Charlie Davis proved on Survivor 46 that he is the biggest Taylor Swift fan the show has seen.
It even led to a jury member (Tiffany Ervin) lashing out at him during the final speeches.
But Charlie isn’t ashamed about being a part of the Swifties (Taylor Swift fan group).
During the Survivor 46 season finale, Charlie lost the jury vote to Kenzie Petty.
Had his bestie from the game, Maria Gonzalez, voted for him, it would have created a tie. Ben Katzman also said he would have voted for Charlie to break the tie.
The vote means Charlie likely missed out on winning the $1 million due to how Maria voted. Now that he can share his feelings about what happened in Fiji, Charlie posted a video on social media.

Survivor 46 just ended with Kenzie Petty shockingly winning. The season had some of the worst gameplay in years. Several people left the island with Immunity Idols in their pockets, and blindsides happened all the way into the finale. Now, with a Survivor 47 promo already released, there is some thought that changes are needed.
One thought is that Jeff Probst needs to go.
Should Jeff Probst Leave Survivor?
Survivor 46 was a weird season. The season set a record for bad gameplay, with more people eliminated while holding Immunity Idols than any other season in history. Additionally, the end was a shock, as Maria betrayed her ally Charlie by voting against him in the jury decision. This cost him the million-dollar prize and likely ended their friendship.
Now, some people think that Jeff Probst might be the problem. The current season is the fifth in the “new era” for Survivor where there have been formatting changes.
