- Dolly Harshaw: There's only two things to do in this town. You got a TV?
- Harry Madox: Nope.
- Dolly Harshaw: Well then, you're down to one. Lotsa luck!
- Dolly Harshaw: [saw Harry staring at Gloria's feet] I have a pair of shoes like those. I ought to wear 'em more often. They seem to be more effective than I remembered.
- Harry Madox: [re the Sutton incident] I'm sorry about, uh... the other day. I must have the book open to the wrong place.
- Gloria Harper: [smiles] Oh... please. Well, I realized later what it must have looked like.
- Harry Madox: [smirks] My life's just... been a succession of jams over floozies of one kind or another. Forget how to treat a real lady.
- [she looks at him appreciatively]
- Harry Madox: What do you say, we forget about the whole thing?
- Gloria Harper: [out in the woods] Shall I let Spunky go? He likes to chase rabbits.
- Harry Madox: Sure, why not? Even rabbits deserve a good laugh now and then.
