In an attempt to "liven up" the show, the producers tried to add an evil alien to the cast. It was played by Walter Koenig, wearing Go-Go boots.
Writer Harlan Ellison, unhappy with changes made to his concept for the show, had his credit changed to the pseudonym "Cordwainer Bird."
Sixteen episodes aired; 2 more were written but never filmed ("God That Died" and "People In The Dark").
Some of the background music was taken directly from Strange Paradise (1969), another low budget Canadian production.
This show's budget was typical for an hour-long Canadian television series of the time, but a lot of that budget went to Keir Dullea's salary and building a bridge set, even when the show bible didn't call for one (it wasn't needed until the end of the series).
