- Banquo's ghost is later seen covered in blood to haunt Macbeth for his murder
- After King Duncan is murdered off screen, Macbeth then kills both of the sleeping servants with his sword
- There is plenty of violence, but nearly all of it takes place offscreen.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Macbeth is drunk during his first scene as King of Scotland, as well as during the banquet.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- Very mild violence.
Spoilers
Violence & Gore
- MacDuff's family is murdered off screen, but MacDuff is later seen lamenting over it when he hears the horrid news
- Macbeth murders a priest
- Macbeth kills Young Siward in a duel
- MacDuff kills Macbeth in a duel, and is later seen carrying his decapitated head; not very realistic
Frightening & Intense Scenes
- The most frightening scene is the murder of Macduff's wife and children. Although we do not actually see most of it, we hear their screams as the soldiers stab them.
- The scream that Lady Macbeth emits at the end of the sleepwalking scene, as well as in the suicide scene (she hurls herself off a cliff), is quite bloodcurdling.
