A natural-born storyteller, Greg is an Oscars® Shortlisted, Emmy® Award-Winning Director, and Cinematographer. A former professional snowboarder, Wilson turned to photography and filmmaking after a career-ending injury. He spent 8 years as a photojournalist for National Geographic before transitioning into cinematography and directing.
Greg is known for pushing innovation in his work, designing and crafting unique solutions to previously impossible cinematic shots - often in extreme environments. Greg's drive to innovate and engineer new ways of storytelling inspired much of the development of "America the Beautiful" - National Geographic's first flagship series for Disney+. The series is the first of its kind to pair cinema-grade cameras with fighter jets, producing groundbreaking aerial cinematography and never-seen-before perspectives of severe weather and the country's most spectacular landscapes.
Greg's unique vision for the future of filmmaking led him to help build V/SPEED and an elite production team to expand imagination through visually and emotionally compelling stories.
