Pretty Little Liars fans, prepare for trouble — and make it a double?

"Pretty Little Liars" seemingly brought Alison Dilaurentis back to life in the Halloween special "Grave New World." Find out what's next for the back half of Season 4 in Zap2it's Q&A with executive producer Joseph Dougherty.
So -- was that Alison? Was that for real?
"What other conclusion could you possibly draw? [laughs] That's Alison. This is the season of answers. We're going to try to unpack as much of this as we can. That doesn't mean we aren't going to end up with more mysteries."
If that was Alison, whose body did they find at Maya's house?
"Boy, that's an interesting question isn't it? That's one of the major drives of the second half of Season 4. If we can figure that mystery out, maybe we'll be closer to exactly what happened and why Ali says she can't come back. Because clearly somebody is dead."
Let's talk about Ezra lurking around Ravenswood.

After dropping a World War A bombshell on the Season 4 summer finale of "Pretty Little Liars," when Ezra appeared to be angry that the Liars found his "A" lair, the internet is abuzz with whether mild-mannered English teacher Ezra Fitz really is "A" or not. Star Ian Harding spoke with Zap2it to dish some dirt on what we saw last night.
Are you really "A"? What's going on there?
"You know, I honestly don't know. I know that I'm somehow involved in some shady dealings in Rosewood and Ravenswood. To what extent, I don't know. I'm only a few steps ahead of the audience, of the fans. I was told a while ago that there was going to be a dark turn for Ezra, but even [creator] Marlene King was like, 'We know something's going to happen, we have a few ideas, but we're going to play it out and...

Sneak Peek new images and synopsis from the "Pretty Little Liars" Season 4 summer finale episode "Now You See Me, Now You Don't", written by I. Marlene King, Bryan Holdman and directed by Norman Buckley, airing August 27, 2013 on ABC Family:
"...an intriguing riddle from 'A' has the 'Liars' hitting the road and heading to 'Ravenswood', where they are surrounded by some familiar faces.
"During a very special magic show, one Liar pulls a disappearing act, leaving the other three scrambling to make sure she hasn’t succumbed to A’s tricks.
"But before they can leave Ravenswood, they make a shocking discovery that proves that everything they thought they knew about A and the A team might be wrong.
"With this discovery, the Liars may just have started 'World War A'.
"Meanwhile, 'Hanna' and her mother’s joyous reunion is cut short when A’s sights are set on a new target.

The folks behind the "Pretty Little Liars" spinoff "Ravenswood" have been teasing us with details about the latest creepy drama coming our way from ABC Family.
Writer Joseph Dougherty tweets the above picture, captioned "Moving foward," which we can only take to mean that the wheels are turning over at "Ravenswood" headquarters. We can't wait to hear casting announcements.
Update: We're sure Dougherty realizes the picture is from "The Legend of Hell House." He's not purporting it to actually be from "Ravenswood."
Speaking of casting, creator Marlene King has been busy tweeting about the casting process, though she isn't divulging too many deets. But she does write, "I spent the day in Ravenswood. Can't wait to show you around the town. Ain't no Mr. Rogers in this neighborhood."
We can't wait either.
Meanwhile, in Pll news, writer Bryan Holdman says that episode 407 is tentiavely titled "Bro's Kicking 'A'" and that...

Previously on Pretty Little Liars: After her official release from Radley Institute for Criminal Masterminds, Mona Vanderwaal put to use that sack of good-girl cardigans she'd been storing in her lair for a rainy day and set about reforming her image. Step 1: Spring cleaning ("Rid locker of all spare body parts not used in last six months.") Step 2: It Gets Better video ("Sad beagle eyes, tears, middle school, etc.") Step 3: Blow up a teacher ("Blow up a teacher.") The Liars discovered that Lost Woods Harold was working at Rosewood High as a janitor/hoarder of A stuff, so they concocted an elaborate office-raiding plan that included running half of a half-marathon and hacking into Fort Fields' forcefield via iPhone. For their efforts, they received confirmation that Byron Montgomery is, indeed, a monster, and also...

Growing up my staple television shows all came from the Nickelodeon Network. There were comedies such as All That, The Secret World of Alex Mack, Clarissa Explains It All, and so on. Nickelodeon seemed to be the voice of teens everywhere with quirky characters, fashion trends, catchy phrases and relatable story-lines that you wanted to model yourself after. It seems that tides have turned with the incredible breakout and phenomenal force of ABC Family which has become seemingly the voice of the new teen generation. With titillating and edgy programs like Pretty Little Liars, Bunheads, Baby Daddy, Switched At Birth, and The Lying Game, drama, humor, friendship, and family are all concepts and keywords that have taken center stage for teens and they can't seem to get enough of living for the thrills with ABC Family.
Everyone has their special TV nights, nights for "must-see TV," and growing up with Nickelodeon that was Saturday night.

Ready for some dirt on the third season of "Pretty Little Liars"? Writer Bryan Holdman was asked on Twitter if we'd be seeing actress Natalie Hall, who plays Hanna's evil stepsister Kate, anytime soon. His response, "Looks like not in 3A. Too bad; I like her bad girl moves as 'Kate.'"
That's a shame - she's a great nemesis for Hanna. But perhaps the new character of CeCe will fill those riding shoes.
TV Line is reporting that two new characters are coming to Rosewood this summer. The first is CeCe Drake, a "beyond-charismatic twentysomething blonde stylist at a boutique that has one heel in the present, one in the past." We wonder if this boutique is the same boutique where we saw Alison lurking about as Vivian Darkbloom?
Next is Kenneth, a "middle-aged enigma who comes off as intimidating in large part because ... well, he's an enigma."

It's only Monday, but already our thoughts are turning to Thursday night, and The CW is happy to help us get ready for the latest installments of our guiltiest pleasures: Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries.
First up, is Supernatural's Episode 9, entitled "The Real Ghostbusters" (if there's a series with better ep titles, I sure don't know what it is!):
Super fan Becky (guest star Emily Perkins) uses Chuck's (guest star Chuck Benedict) phone to trick Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) into attending a Supernatural fan convention, complete with fans dressed up as Sam and Dean. One of the activities is a live action role-playing game, but things quickly turn sour after a real ghost appears on the scene. Jim Conway directed the episode with teleplay by Eric Kripke and story by Nancy Weiner.
For more, including full episodes, trailers, and videos, visit Supernatural on The CW.

The Vampire Diaries Episode 1.3 "Friday Night Bites" Written By: Barbie Kligman & Bryan M. Holdman Directed By: John Dahl Original Airdate: 24 September 2009 In This Episode… While hanging out in the quad, an errant football thrown between Tyler and Matt flies towards the back of Stefan's head. With supernatural precision (imagine that), he spins around, catches the ball, and makes an amazing throw. Elena encourages him to try out for the team.
