As ITV prepares to broadcast the last televised Bolero performance from Olympian duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean and crown its final pair of winners, we present ten facts about Dancing on Ice in celebration of all things icy and sparkly.
1. Since 2006, Torvill and Dean have taught an incredible 111 different celebrities, comprising a total of 700 choreographed routines and a staggering 260 days on the ice. This all amounts to a grand total of 3,432 hours spent coaching. Somebody give them another medal!
2. Alongside all this training and coaching, the Olympic champions have also performed 90 different routines themselves for the show over the nine years.
3. Speaking of figures,...

The 'Dancing On Ice' stars are to perform death-defying stunts in the show's final this weekend. The celebrity finalists, Hayley Tamaddon, Ray Quinn and Beth Tweddle, are determined to pull out all of the stops in order to be crowned the champion of champions in the last ever series. 'Coronation Street' actress Hayley is planning to jump over three men, spin in the air, and land on one foot in one of her three routines. Jorgie Porter is fuming at being flown back from the Us to watch the 'Dancing On Ice' final. The 'Hollyoaks' star was voted out of the show in the first round, but bosses have insisted she is in the audience to cheer on finalists Ray Quinn, Beth Tweddle and Hayley Tamaddon tonight (09.03.14) - which she sees as a waste of time. An insider told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: ''She was complaining that she had to fly back for 'this stupid 'Dancing On Ice' thing'. ''There's no way she wants to be there. It does seem ridiculous, given she will barely be...

Daniel Whiston would like Beth Tweddle to win 'Dancing on Ice' if he and Hayley Tamaddon don't. The professional skater - who won the eighth series with the Olympic gold medal winner last year - has claimed that if he is not fortunate enough to win the final of the all-stars series this weekend alongside skating partner Hayley Tamaddon, he would like to see Beth and her partner Lukasz Rozycki take the crown. He exclusively told Bang Showbiz: ''Hayley is a strong contender. Beth will always have a special place in my heart, I won the show with her last year. [But]...

Sam Attwater has responded to claims that his exit from Dancing on Ice All-Stars was a fix.
There have been suggestions that the EastEnders actor and his partner Vicky Ogden were denied a place in the final because they haven't signed up for the show's forthcoming arena tour.
Attwater and Ogden were eliminated in last night's semi-final after finding themselves in the skate-off with Ray Quinn and Maria Filippov.
Asked about the fix claims on ITV's This Morning, he said: "Yeah, that's what was going around... but it is down to the public so if the people picked up the phones then I would have been in the final.
"There are certain dates of the tour that we can do, so we are trying to work that out and I think there's 20 shows out of the 37 or something that we can do, so hopefully we can work something out and be guest appearances or something.

Forget all the cha cha cha-ing on Strictly and Louis Walsh's silliness on X Factor. The No.1 reality TV show of 2013 was most definitely the Great British Bake Off.
Making stars of its contestants and pulling in stupendously large ratings, it is a pop culture phenomenon and every TV commissioner in the land is looking for the "next Bake Off". Here are just a few of the shows hoping to match the success of Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood in 2014.
The Great Interior Design Challenge
The Premise: We really need to find Britain's keenest amateur interior designers. Of course we do.
The Talent: Architecture and design critic for The Times Tom Dyckhoff leads the hunt and is joined by judges Daniel Hopwood, award-winning architect and interior designer, and Sophie Robinson, ex-editor of BBC Good Homes and Interior Designer. Niche is the word you're looking for.

We caught up with all the stars at the show's launch this week - with the exception of Joe Pasquale, who genuinely had to rush off to panto - so read on to find out how training is going, what Jorgie really thinks of being paired with Sylvain, and whose secret weapon is... farting?
Suzanne Shaw
Original series and position: Winner in series three (2008)
Professional partner: Matt Evers

Beth said: ''Retirement was always going to be a big decision. I knew in my heart it was the right time to walk away from it. I love skating and I do fall over in every session but I know I have to fall over! This show has provided me with so...
