- His trainer, Hubert Wells was a stunt double for Eric Thal in Turner Network Television's Biblical miniseries Samson and Delilah (1996). However, part of the attack sequence featured a robotic puppet of a lion from Jim Henson's Creature Shop in London, England.
- He performed as a stunt double for both Bongo and Caesar in Paramount's theatrical film The Ghost and the Darkness (1996). An unidentified male adult African lion from Santa Clarita, California's Hollywood Animals originally intended to perform with Sudan in that film, but was sent back to America for safety of the production. Its trainers would have been Brian McMillan, Vikki McMillan, Rick Glassey and Judy Glassey. Stan Winston Studio's robotic puppet of a lion successfully replaced that American trained African lion.
