Untitled Ben Foster Project – Ex-X-Man, Ben Foster, is ready to make his move behind the camera with this drama from producer Oren Moverman. Plot details weren’t available, but they’re reportedly eying a summer shoot.
Food for Love – British auteur Peter Greenway is reuniting with his Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover producer Kees Kasander to work on this adaptation of Thomas Mann's classic tale of man-boy crush "Death in Venice" for the big screen.
Black Sea – Described as John Huston's Treasure of the Sierra Madre "set on a submarine", this is one of a few projects in development with writer-director Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland).
Berandal – While the Indonesian action flick The Raid is prepping to impress U.S. audiences this spring, filmmaker Gareth Evans is already working on its sequel. Iko Uwais is on board to reprise his role as Rama.
Sunset Song – Terence Davies returns from the Deep Blue Sea with this Scottish-Swedish co-production about a farmer’s daughter coming of age in the early 1900s. Filming is looking to begin later this year or in early 2013.

Hollywoodnews.com: Brad Pitt, Keira Knightley, George Clooney, Carey Mulligan, Rachel Weisz, Gerard Butler and Ryan Gosling are heading to Toronto for the 36tht international film festival, which kicks off on Thursday, Sept. 8.
The fest today confirmed the hundreds of celebrities that will be attending the can’t-miss event, promoting films and making the rounds as the annual awards season starts to take shape.
Davis Guggenheim, Francis Ford Coppola, Alexander Payne, Luc Besson, Oren Moverman, Malgoska Szumowska, Bennett Miller, Sarah Polley, Jessica Yu, Michael Winterbottom and Werner Herzog are just a few of the filmmakers who have confirmed their attendance.

London's Lancaster House has witnessed historic meetings, but Tuesday's conference on Libya was not among them. Instead, Salil Tripathi says, the event revealed the limited power of post-Iraq Western governments.
As foreign ministers and senior officials from 40 countries and international organizations arrived at London's stately Lancaster House on a mildly wet, bleak morning, they had hoped to present the blueprint of what post-Gaddafi Libya would look like. It may be an Arab Spring, but in London, Tuesday was a typical cold day. The gray sky dampened some enthusiasm, and the leaders went back with less clear directions than they would have liked but with greater realization that they couldn't afford to get the intervention in Libya wrong.
