Perhaps knowing that the clock’s ticking on the time we have left with the Shelby family (creator Steven Knight has long said series five would be the last, though there’s reason to hope he may yet change his mind), this run is doing more than ever to let us in on the mystery of what’s happening behind Tommy Shelby’s unblinking blue eyes. Last week we learned about the near-death experience that made Tommy fearless, and this week we learned about his first love, Greta Di Rossi.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi could easily be seen as one of the most impressive — not to mention expensive — commercials ever made. But while it may, on the surface, chronicle the latest chapter in the saga of the Skywalker family, the two-minute piece also serves to promote something else entirely: Ireland's growing status in the film world.
Picking up immediately from the climactic end of The Force Awakens, the opening shots show Daisy Ridley's Rey undertaking her all-important Jedi training on the spectacularly craggy island of Skellig Michael off Ireland's southwest coast (other...

There are certain horror films you just love. Weird, offbeat, horrible puzzle boxes that, by all rights, have no logical reason to exist, and yet there they are. And then, there’s Beyond the Door (1974), an Italian / American co-produced quasi-Exorcist treatise that burns down that particular sacred house, stomps on the ashes, and pisses on the embers before speeding off in its Ferrari. If you found The Exorcist too restrained, we may have just become best friends.
Beyond the Door is also known as Chi Sei?, Who Are You?, Behind the Door, The Devil Within Her (not to be confused with the Joan Collins vs. satanic little person shocker) and various other titles it was given in an effort, I’m assuming, to avoid Warner Brothers’ legal department (they can’t catch us if they can’t find us!). New photos and videos from the UK set of Rian Johnson's "Star Wars: Episode VIII" have revealed the Millennium Falcon and filming on what will likely be its first appearance in the next chapter of the new trilogy.
The new film is expected to begin where 'Force Awakens' left off, with Rey and Luke Skywalker on that rocky island on the remote planet of Ahch-To (in real life Skellig Michael off the Irish coast). As the Irish location is remote and a hazard for filming, building a life-size starship there would be effectively impossible.
Instead, the crew have recreated part of the island on a hillside by Pinewood Studios in Buckinghamshire, with the iconic spacecraft at the base of that fake location. Check them out below, the film itself opens December next year.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens breakout star Daisy Ridley took the stage to present an award at the Oscars last night, and on the red carpet, the actress talked to MTV about reprising her role as Rey and acting opposite Mark Hamill's Luke Skywalker in the upcoming sequel, Star Wars: Episode VIII.
“Me and Mark have been rehearsing a lot, and it’s really amazing. When we went back to Skellig to do the opening of [Episode] VIII, it was so crazy doing the same scene with a different crew of people. He’s amazing to rehearse with, and I’m very excited to be doing the rest of the stuff. It’s such a good story. Seriously. Luke is so cool in this one. Really.”

Michael B Jordan is one to watch! With roles in "Friday Night Lights" and the highly anticipated "Creed" under his belt, the 28-year-old's career is definitely on the rise -- but with much of his focus on his professional life, that doesn't leave much time for anything else. In the October issue of GQ, the hunky actor opens up about his lack of a dating life and relationship rumors that seem to plague him. "I understand what females want and need, you know. I’m good at that. I don’t know if I’m the guy to give it to them right now. I’m emotionally unavailable," Jordan admits of his busy schedule. "Until I find something that’s so undeniable that I can’t help myself." And while women and dating may not be on his radar right now, the star admits that he's pretty smooth when it comes to the ladies.

Initally, a source had informed us they believed Kenny Baker was in Portmagee yesterday. While they were correct in the little person info they sent, they got Baker wrong, and as a result, we got it wrong. Turns out the "little person" that came ashore was none other than Jimmy Vee. He stands at 3' 8" and has starred in a number of Doctor Who episodes. He'll also be starring in Pan alongside Hugh Jackman this October. However, Vee is not listed anywhere for Star Wars Episode VIII which is now shooting in Skellig Michael off the Kerry coast. We've seen the photographic proof of Vee coming ashore this morning, however, we don't have permission to publish the image. Skellig Michael is a tough hike at the best of times, once you brave the North Atlantic and choppers aside, I'd imagine that Kenny Baker (at the fantastic age of 81) may not be up the location,...

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still 3 months away from release, but Disney and Lucasfilm are wasting no time getting to work on the next installment of their new trilogy, as it’s being reported that director Rian Johnson and his crew are off to the Emerald isle to commence principal photography on the still untitled Episode VIII.
Because their destination is the island of Skellig Michael off the Southern coast of Ireland, it was initially reported that the plan was to conduct reshoots for The Force Awakens, which filmed in that location last year. Apparently, the confusion stemmed from Lucasfilm not wanting to reveal the real title of Episode VII, and referring to it only as “Star Wars”; but EW was able to confirm that it was actually the follow-up film, and made the correction.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is still a few months away from release, but Looper directer Rian Johnson is already set to begin shooting the follow-up movie, which we'll be calling Episode VIII until the official tile is announced. It was originally reported that The Force Awakens was returning to the island of Skellig Michael off the Southern coast of Ireland for reshoots, but EW has confirmed that it's actually where Johnson and his crew will commence principal photography on Episode VIII. Skellig Michael will apparently double for the location Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) has been hiding out (held prisoner?) in the years between Return Of the Jedi and The Force Awakens, so this would suggest that he or some other characters return there for whatever reason - unless of course he never actually leaves in Tfa, that is. Months before Star Wars The Force Awakens explodes into cinema screens around the world, select cast and crew are due to return to Skellig Michael off the south Kerry coast this September. Skellig Michael is apparently home to Luke Skywalker in The Force Awakens and filming is due to begin on the Island once again on September 14th. But it's not a reshoot or a few pick up shots for The Force Awakens. An inside source is telling us exclusively that an entire six weeks are blocked for filming in Kerry, which leads us to believe that this is in fact for Star Wars Episode VIII, which will be released in cinemas on May 26th 2017. Given that the local birdlife are well out of breeding season, this long six feet shoot does seem quite probable. Our source also informs us that the final cut of The Force Awakens is just...

Domhnall Gleeson has joked that he is terrified of accidentally revealing Star Wars Episode VII spoilers.
The actor is a part of director Jj Abrams's ensemble cast along with John Boyega, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis and Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o.
Everything we know so far about Star Wars Episode 7
Little is known about the project's storyline, other than that original trilogy stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill are returning.
Gleeson told Huffington Post Live this week that he is constantly concerned with disclosing details that are not yet meant for public consumption.
"I become sick in my mouth when people talk about Star Wars," he joked, adding: "I'm so nervous I'm going to give something away."
The actor went on to explain that there are legal restrictions that make revealing spoilers a dangerous proposition.
"You sign a massive, big, long contract thing that you don't read," he said.

2.7 The Hope Too Bright To Last
I’ve finally figured out the secret of Copper: it’s a marketing tool. For Prozac.
Yet we keep coming back to have our hearts ripped out and stomped into the ground like it’s some sick addiction. Other shows are off-putting when they lay on the tragedy too thick. Copper has a knack for executing the worst possible eventuality with morbid finesse.
Ellen is spiraling back into a dark mental place, and her attempt to inform Corcoran of her pregnancy is thwarted when she spots him with Eva. Finally, Sara goes to the precinct office to tell him herself, but Corcoran runs home to find that Ellen has hanged herself.
Corky has lost both his wife and unborn child in one needless act of self-harm fed by misunderstandings and failed struggles to forgive.

Burn Notice Season 6 Episode 16: Odd Man Out
Burn Notice has been filled to the brim with annoying characters this season. Tom Card (John C. McGinley) was rightfully shot in the head in the mid-season finale, “Means & Ends” and whenever I see Agent Olivia Riley (Sonja Sohn), her one-note overacting makes me want to yank my television off my wall, climb up a flight of stairs to “clean and jerk” it out of my third-story window. I know, I know, Sohn was on The Wire, but can we give her a little more range to work with here? Oh and by the way, we get two hours of her tough girl act in the season finale. But the award for the most annoying character this season – and perhaps all of the seasons – has to go to Colin Schmidt, played by comedian Patton Oswalt.

Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan) has been the good soldier, helping those in need while trying to find out who burned him as a spy. Once he got there, he wasn’t prepared for the most surreptitious villain he’s faced so far. Anson Fullerton (Jere Burns) has been up there all along, pulling the strings and orchestrating the madness in Michael’s life and then used Michael and his crew in Season 5 with Fiona’s (Gabrielle Anwar) life as leverage because he could frame her for the killing of two security guards at the British Consulate. Nine seasons in, NCIS still has a great way of peeling back new layers of characters you thought you knew, casting them in a different light or offering a different perspective on what makes them tick.
Case in point: Leon Vance.
The rare Vance episode always keeps things interesting in large part because you never know quite what to think of the guy. He's head of NCIS, yet simultaneously not part of the fabric of the team.
Part of that's the nature of the best. Vance even told Gibbs recently never to seek his job, alluding to the political entanglements and bureaucracy that complicate their mission. But it's also just Vance.
He keeps things close to the vest (pun not intended after this week's poker game tie-in), making it difficult to ascertain where his priorities are at times. This was certainly the case in "The Good Son."

To fall in love, as everyone comes to realize sooner or later, is to leave one's self vulnerable to heartbreak. Just as this is true in real life, so can it be true in our daydreams and pastimes. This can even apply, whether reasonably or not, to something as benign and relatively-unimportant as a television series. For why would a typical viewer decide to watch a program if he or she did not care about the people involved, or what they did, or who they did it with? Such emotional investment in a mere television show, however, can be a dangerous thing. Once a particular program gains traction among television enthusiasts, the stakes are raised, the pressure is on, and the show's writers and stars find themselves besieged by the expectations of millions of viewers. Success, it often turns out, can be the worst thing to happen to a program's cast and crew.

Bones Promo: A Killer Scavenger Hunt in Episode 7.06
Bones channeled the movie Twister in the midseason finale this week. When a man was found in a camp, the team quickly realized that the victim may have been thrown around by a tornado. They quickly realized he was a storm chaser and dug into the tornado-chasing world to learn about his enemies.
Booth started getting very over-protective about Brennan, both at home and at work. When he lied to her and went out with Sweets and eventually the two got stuck in a tornado with some storm chasers. Brennan was upset that Booth didn't want her around the dangerous weather and headed out there anyway. Later, Booth promised to tone down his overprotective behavior, but said he would do everything he could to take care of Brennan and the baby.
Angela and Hodgins have been exhausted at work because their baby hasn't been sleeping very well.

Steve Carell's final episode of "The Office" had a big load to carry: It had to usher Michael Scott off in a way that felt true to the character and gave the show's fans their own chance to say goodbye, while at the same time reminding people that, in fact, the show will go on after Michael's gone.
"Goodbye Michael" may not have nailed every facet of that task, but it got a lot of them right. Michael's goodbye struck just the right note of sadness -- he is, after all, leaving the people he's considered his family for many, many years -- while also being warmly funny and at least giving a hint of what the remaining Dunder Mifflin employees are up against.
Michael has done a lot of growing up since we first met him in the spring of 2005, but even so, to see him be so...

Arnie Klein -- Joe Jackson's a Hypocrite!
Dr. Arnold Klein -- the man who was probably closest to Michael Jackson -- came out swinging against Joe Jackson, claiming the elder Jackson could have tried talking Michael off a ledge, but all he cared about was making money.
Dr. Klein tells TMZ, "Michael was very close to Katherine, but Joe talked to him too, but all Joe ever wanted to talk about was business. Everything Joe utters is nonsensical."
Joe is taking lots of flack for telling News of the World Katherine is responsible for Michael's death by not trying to cheer him up.
But Klein says he's over the drama: "I'm no longer interested in the Sodom and Gomorrah show on Havenhurst (the family home). My main concern is the welfare of the children, especially Michael's, and the preservation of Michael's memory."

Janet Jackson is still upset her family were unable to get her brother Michael off drugs. The 'All For You' singer says she and the rest of the Jackson family knew the late pop legend - who died in June from acute Propofol intoxication - was abusing prescription drugs but their attempts at an intervention were unsuccessful. When quizzed about her sibling's drug use, she said: "Those are the things you do when you love someone. You can't just let them continue on that way. And we did a few times but we weren't very successful." Despite the family's best efforts, Janet claims Michael - who had a cocktail of prescription drugs in his system when he passed away -...
