Isabelle Larin(I)
- Sound Department
-Born in 1966 in Montreal, Canada, Isabelle Larin discovered her attraction to the arts at an early age. Her interest in portraits began in adolescence, when she developed her drawing technique and took up oil painting. After a brief foray into the world of graphic design at the Cégep du Vieux-Montréal, she stepped away from the visual arts for several years to pursue a career as a sound engineer, working in several recording studios in the Montreal area.
After an absence of almost 20 years, and with the encouragement of her family, Isabelle returned to her pencils and brushes with renewed passion. She had the chance to deepen her knowledge with some of the region's finest painters and teachers, taking classes with Pierre Duhamel, Johanne Blaquière, Denis Jacques, Juan Cristobal, Chantal Ouellet, Chantal De Serres and Anne Lemieux. Her desire to learn and express her creativity is an ever-growing part of her life, and she believes she has only just begun to explore the potential of her talent.
