If you’re not caught up on your peak TV viewing, consider this your spoiler warning. Four months have passed since Jennifer Coolidge bagged her second consecutive Emmy for “The White Lotus” and thus became the eighth drama or comedy series regular honored by the TV academy for a season in which her character died. Emmy nominations of this kind have become quite common in recent years, and it’s possible that over 15% of the 2024 lead and supporting continuing series contenders will be added to the list.
The current consensus among more than 2,400 Gold Derby users is that five continuing series performers whose characters perished within the past year will receive Emmy nominations, while a few others have outside shots at recognition. This does not include characters like Anakin Skywalker who died before their shows’ latest seasons began but appear as ghosts or in flashbacks. Undead characters like most of...

Following his 2015 Emmy win for the final season of “Mad Men,” Jon Hamm took a large step back from TV stardom in order to beef up his film resume with titles such as “Baby Driver,” “Richard Jewell,” and “Top Gun: Maverick.” Now that he has made a splashy return to the small screen by playing new roles on “Fargo” and “The Morning Show” and reprising one on “Good Omens,” his Emmy nominations total could instantly rise from 16 to 19. If all of his possible 2024 bids come to fruition, he will be only the fourth person and second man to ever compete for three acting Emmys at once.
Hamm’s string of recent TV acting gigs began last July when he returned for season two Prime Video’s “Good Omens” as supporting character Gabriel – a humanoid version of the biblical archangel. He then fulfilled the new role of ambitious tech billionaire Paul Marks...

Over the years, dozens of actors have accomplished the feat of being Emmy-nominated in one guest category for multiple shows, but only one has been recognized in this manner for playing a single character. This special case involved Shelley Long, who received comedic notices for playing Diane Chambers on both “Cheers” (1993) and “Frasier” (1996). After more than a quarter century of standing alone in this distinction, she could soon be joined by Carrie Preston, who won the 2013 Best Drama Guest Actress award as eccentric lawyer Elsbeth Tascioni on “The Good Wife” and is now seeking a bookend trophy for its Paramount Plus spinoff, “The Good Fight.”

Months after his life was suddenly cut short, Emmy winner Leslie Jordan has a chance to receive more TV academy love for his final small screen performance as Phil on Fox’s “Call Me Kat.” If he does land in this year’s Best Comedy Supporting Actor lineup, he will join a group of 12 other comedy or drama series regulars who posthumously achieved Emmy recognition. If he scores his second victory, he will make history as the first deceased male actor to win an Emmy for a continuing program.
“Call Me Kat” was the first and only multi-season series on which Jordan played a regular role. In his last few episodes, his character, who worked as the head baker at a Kentucky cat cafe, finally found true love with drag performer Jalen, aka Queen Dicktoria (John Griffin). Nine years after he won his fourth and final acting Emmy for playing Walter White on “Breaking Bad,” Bryan Cranston has a solid shot at triumphing in the corresponding Best Drama Guest Actor category for reprising the role on the prequel series “Better Call Saul” on AMC. In fact, he has three chances to win at least his fifth acting Emmy this year since he could also earn notices for Best Movie/Limited Actor for Paramount Plus’ “Jerry and Marge Go Large” and for Best Drama Actor for Showtime’s “Your Honor.” If all three nominations come to fruition, he will be only the fourth person and second man to ever compete for three acting Emmys at once.

Sin and Damnation – How Scott Derrickson’s Underrated ‘Hellraiser: Inferno’ Rises Above Expectations
At the recent Silver Scream Con, I was surprised to hear Hellraiser star Doug Bradley remark, “The only one in the series I feel doesn’t work is Inferno, for various reasons.” I had always considered the 2000 effort one of the franchise’s stronger offerings, but it had been a while since I revisited the series, so I thought it may not hold up as well as I remembered.
As I’m working my way through the series ahead of David Bruckner‘s reboot, which drops October 7 on Hulu, I can confirm my support for the fifth installment. I have no doubt that Bradley has his reasons for disliking the film – it being the first installment to be released straight to video no doubt required adjustments, not to mention his minuscule screen time as Pinhead – but, even with its shortcomings, I think Hellraiser: Inferno is better than he gives it credit for.

The late Chadwick Boseman received a historic Emmy nomination for the very last performance of his life: voicing his “Black Panther” character T’Challa in the Marvel animated series “What If…?” He’s up for Best Character Voice-Over Performance for his turn. But what are the chances he’ll win?
As of this writing Boseman ranks second with 11/2 odds based on the combined predictions of Gold Derby users. Ahead of him is the two-time defending champion Maya Rudolph (“Big Mouth”), who would be the first to win this award three times in a row since character voice-overs and narrators were split into separate categories in 2014. But not everyone agrees with that assessment.

From “Hacks” and “Only Murders in the Building” to “Barry” and “Abbott Elementary,” we’re living in a golden age of comedy. While a few shows have been dominant at the Emmys lately, racking up nominations left and right, predicting the best comedy performances can still prove to be a difficult task. Case in point: Best Comedy Guest Actress.
This year, four of the slots in the category went to actresses from HBO Max’s hit comedy “Hacks,” about a legendary comedienne and her protégé. Apple TV+’s soccer-themed kindness explosion “Ted Lasso” and Hulu’s murder mystery-slash-true crime satire “Only Murders in the Building” fill the remaining two spots. But who will actually win?
Currently, Jane Lynch of “Only Murders” leads the field with 37/10 odds, and two Experts and eight Editors predicting her to win. She’s followed by Laurie Metcalf, Dame Harriet Walter, Harriet Sansom Harris, Jane Adams and Kaitlin Olson.

History was made when the 2022 Primetime Emmy nominations were announced, as Chadwick Boseman (“What If…?”) and Jessica Walter (“Archer”) became the first pair of direct competitors to be recognized posthumously. They are both up for the Best Character Voice-Over Performance prize after having passed away in August 2020 and March 2021, respectively.
Walter is now the only performer to ever receive two post-death Emmy bids, having just contended in the same category last summer. Now including Boseman, the list of departed acting Emmy nominees consists of 26 entrants, four of whom were honored with wins.
The first actor to be nominated for and win an Emmy posthumously was Alice Pearce, who was awarded the Best Comedy Supporting Actress trophy for “Bewitched” two months after her death in 1966. The other three champs, all of whom triumphed for TV movie performances, are supporting players David Burns and Diana Hyland and lead Raul Julia.

It was a good night for “Modern Family,” “Homeland” and PBS and the start of an impressive streak for a favorite comedienne, while a drama’s winning streak came to a screeching halt. Jimmy Kimmel helmed the 64th Primetime Emmys on ABC on September 23, 2012, his first time hosting this awards show. Read on for our Emmys flashback 10 years ago to 2012.
“Modern Family” reigned over the Emmys in its first few years, claiming Best Comedy for each of its first five seasons, from 2010-2014. A decade ago, it was in the middle of this streak, not only winning in this category, but tying for most nominations (nine) and wins (four) of the night. The other five nominees in this category were “30 Rock,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “Girls” and “Veep,” which did score a major victory.

Who are the 5 Emmy winners that contended as both series regulars and guests for the same character?
In 1965, Don Knotts made history as the first actor to step away from an Emmy-winning sitcom role while the show was still running. After playing Barney Fife on the first five seasons of “The Andy Griffith Show” and collecting three supporting trophies, he moved on to a film career by signing a contract with Universal Studios. As the show continued for three more years, Knotts returned for five special appearances and ended up earning two additional Emmys. He was the first person to be nominated as a regular supporting player and guest star for the same role on the same series. In the 55 years since, he has been followed by two dozen others, including five more double winners.
Cloris Leachman emulated Knotts in 1975 when her fourth bid and second win for “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” came for what was deemed a single performance rather than a supporting one. She...

If our early odds prove to be correct, Maya Rudolph will cruise to the Best Comedy Guest Actress Emmy for “Saturday Night Live.” It’d be her second straight victory and she’d become just the second person to win back-to-back awards in the category.
As of now, Jean Smart is the only Best Comedy Guest Actress champ to successfully defend her title. A two-time nominee this year for “Hacks” and “Mare of “Easttown,” Smart won for her turn on “Frasier” in 2000 and 2001. Six other women have won the category multiple times, but not consecutively. Cloris Leachman, who holds the record with three wins, prevailed for “The Mary Tyler Moore Show” in 1975 (back when it was called Outstanding Single Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Comedy or Drama Series) and “Malcolm in the Middle” in 2002 and 2006. Bradley Whitford (“The Handmaid’s Tale”) prevented Ron Cephas Jones from making history in the Best Drama Guest Actor Emmy category last year, but the “This Is Us” star could still do so this year. Currently in first place in our drama guest actor odds, Jones is seeking his second statuette for the NBC hit, which would make him the first person to win the category twice for the same role.

Veteran character actor Orson Bean, a regular on shows like “To Tell the Truth” and “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” and star of “Being John Malkovich,” died Friday night at age 91 after he was struck and killed by a car in Los Angeles.
The Los Angeles coroner’s office confirmed Bean’s death in a “traffic-related” accident to the Associated Press. L.A. Police Capt. Brian Wendling told ABC that a man had been walking in the Venice neighborhood of Los Angeles when he was clipped by a vehicle, causing him to fall. Then a second driver struck him again.
According to ABC, Bean’s wife of 27 years, actress Alley Mills, was at the scene at the time of the accident.

Was it a comedy? Was it a drama? Was it a soap opera? Let’s celebrate the 15th anniversary of the classic TV series “Desperate Housewives”!
In the Fall of 2004, creator Marc Cherry introduced us to the residents of Wisteria Lane. “Dh” begins with the mysterious suicide of resident Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong), and her group of friends wondering how they could not know their close friend was so desperate. Over eight seasons, Mary Alice narrates the ups and downs of her former neighbors from beyond her grave. Through flashbacks and a five-year flash forward between seasons four and five, we follow the nearly 20-year friendship and adventures of Mary Alice’s poker buddies: klutzy divorcee with a heart of gold Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) and her pursuit of the perfect mate; control-freak, frazzled wife and mother of four (later five) Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) and her efforts to...

Emma Thompson has seven Emmy nominations and one win. That single victory came for her guest appearance on “Ellen” in 1998, and now, 21 years later, she could win that same category again and be just the eighth person to do so.
Thompson, who missed on a bid for “King Lear,” is up in Best Comedy Guest Actress for her hosting stint on “Saturday Night Live.” No one has won this category more than twice. The seven two-time champs are Colleen Dewhurst, Tina Fey, Kathryn Joosten, Cloris Leachman, Jean Smart, Tracey Ullman and Betty White.
Should Thompson prevail, she’d join an even more exclusive club with Dewhurst, Smart and Ullman as the only people with a perfect 2-for-2 record in the category. Dewhurst won for “Murphy Brown” in 1989 and ’91; Smart for “Frasier” in 2000-01; and Ullman for “Love & War” in 1993 and “Ally McBeal” in 1999.

Amazon’s “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” set a new record this month for most Emmys ever won by a comedy in a single year, with eight. Its debut season received 14 nominations, winning Best Comedy Casting, Comedy Editing and Music Supervision at the Creative Arts ceremony, then Best Comedy Series, Comedy Writing, Comedy Directing, Comedy Actress (Rachel Brosnahan) and Comedy Supporting Actress (Alex Borstein) at the main telecast. Amy Sherman-Palladino is notably credited on four wins, making her the second person to receive four Emmys in a single year. The first was Moira Demos two years ago; she swept Best Documentary Series, Nonfiction Writing, Nonfiction Directing and Nonfiction Editing for “Making a Murderer.”

Break out the Alexander McQueen dress! Tiffany Haddish won Best Comedy Guest Actress for “Saturday Night Live” at Saturday’s Creative Arts Emmy Awards.
The first black female stand-up comedian to host “SNL,” Haddish was our odds-on favorite to take home her first career Emmy after her breakout year that also included “Girls Trip,” her TBS series “The Last O.G.,” publishing her memoir “The Last Black Unicorn,” announcing the Oscar nominations and presenting at the Oscars, being named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People, and hosting the MTV Movie and TV Awards.
In her hosting stint, Haddish opened with a killer monologue in which she wore the same white Alexander McQueen dress she had worn to the “Girls Trip” premiere because she spent $4,000 on it and she was going to get every bang out of her buck. She has since worn it to the Oscars and the MTV Movie and TV Awards.

This year, Emmy voters paid respects to Anthony Bourdain, who committed suicide on June 8, with six nominations for his CNN series “Parts Unknown,” and another for its digital expansion. But whether these accolades end up in the win column as well remains to be seen. If history is any judge, the Academy delivers a mixed bag on posthumous trophies, with sentimentality playing an uneven role.
“The Emmys are quirky,” says awards consultant Jonathan Taylor of Robertson Taylor Partners. “With peak TV there [are] so many shows that anybody who says they know how voters are going to vote is lying.”
Ingrid Bergman won her Emmy for “A Woman Called Golda” in 1982, a month after she died of breast cancer. Audrey Hepburn earned hers in 1993, several months after her death, for “Gardens of the World.” Raul Julia died in 1994, but earned a trophy the next year for “The Burning Season.”

No one has been nominated for more Best Comedy Guest Actress Emmys in the last decade than Tina Fey. Since “Saturday Night Live” hosts were allowed to compete in the category nine years ago, Fey has tallied seven nominations — the second most in the category after Cloris Leachman, whose eight nominations span from 1975 to 2011. Should Fey win for a third time come September for yet another “SNL” stint, she’d become the category’s most awarded performer.
Fey won her first guest Emmy in 2009, thanks almost entirely to her iconic Sarah Palin impersonation on “SNL,” which she resurrected when she hosted in May. In 2016, she picked up her second, a shared victory with “SNL” co-host Amy Poehler, who at long last won her first Emmy. Fey is one of seven two-time Best Comedy Guest Actress champs, which includes Leachman, Colleen Dewhurst, Kathryn Joosten, Jean Smart, Tracy Ullman and Betty White.

Emilia Clarke, Kit Harington and Maisie Williams were snubbed in the 2018 Emmy nominations announced last week for their performances in the seventh season of “Game of Thrones.” However, history suggests that they will be nominated next year for the final season. Could Miguel Ferrer become a posthumous Emmy nominee for “Twin Peaks: The Return”? The veteran character actor died of throat cancer in January 2017 after he shot the Showtime revival, in which he reprised his role as FBI Agent Albert Rosenfield. The TV academy often rewards stars who have died with nominations for their final performances, so could Ferrer compete for Best Movie/Mini Supporting Actor? Despite a long list of TV credits including “The Stand” (1994), “Crossing Jordan” (2001-2007), “NCIS: Los Angeles” (2012-2017) and many more, he never earned an Emmy nomination during his lifetime.
Ferrer first appeared in the original “Twin Peaks” in a recurring role as an abrasive and sarcastic FBI forensics specialist assisting Special Agent Dale Cooper (Kyle MacLachlan) in his murder investigation in the title town. And he also appeared in the 1992 prequel film “Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me.” The 18-episode limited run in 2017 found him...

Tina Fey hasn’t even hosted “Saturday Night Live” yet, but our pundits have her atop our Best Comedy Guest Actress Emmy predictions already. If she does indeed win, the former “SNL” head writer will stand alone with a record three victories in the category.
Fey has two guest Emmys at home for “SNL,” winning in 2009 on the strength of her Sarah Palin impersonation and in 2016 for co-hosting with Amy Poehler. She’s in a seven-way tie with Colleen Dewhurst, Kathryn Joosten, Cloris Leachman, Jean Smart, Tracy Ullman and Betty White with two wins.

Fey is scheduled to host the season finale of “SNL” on May 19 and will surely be one of the show’s main priorities in the category. And it’s certainly not presumptuous to think she’ll make the cut sight unseen; she’s an Emmy...

Meeting your childhood idol can sometimes be a disappointment. But when Tina Fey met Carrie Fisher, it was a dream come true. Ironically, Fisher played Rosemary Howard, Liz Lemon's wacky childhood idol in the second season of NBC's 30 Rock. And while she didn't help Liz get her movie screenwriting career off the ground, she did help her realize her full potential as head writer of the sketch variety series Tgs with Tracy Jordan. Critics and viewers lauded Fisher's guest-starring role in Season 2. The actress received her first-ever Emmy nomination for the appearance, but lost to Desperate Housewives' Kathryn Joosten. One year after Fisher's guest appearance on 30 Rock, Fey made a...

Since Frank Underwood became president on Netflix’s House of Cards, I’ve had this geek fantasy of him debating Josiah Bartlet, Martin Sheen’s idealistic and professorial president from The West Wing. Bartlet’s Washington, D.C., was the proverbial shining city on a hill, a place where intelligent, well-intentioned people gravitated to do the peoples’ business. Underwood’s capital is the nasty underbelly of a trough coated by man’s craven pursuit of power for power’s sake. It’s practically Kennedy’s Camelot versus Nixononian realpolitik. To paraphrase Anthony Hopkins’ Nixon in Oliver Stone’s 1995 movie, “When look at The West Wing,...

Zap2it spoke with "Psych" actress Kirsten Nelson in preparation for her directorial debut on Wednesday's (Feb. 26) episode of the USA comedy. An interview about that process and the end of "Psych" is coming later in the week, but one of the other topics we touched on was her memorable guest-starring role on "The West Wing."
In the Season 2 finale of NBC's political drama, titled "Two Cathedrals," Nelson played the younger version of Mrs. Landingham, secretary to President Bartlet who in present-day had just been killed in a car accident.
Nelson tells Zap2it that it was actually due to Kathryn Joosten, the actress who played present-day Mrs. Landingham and who passed away herself in 2012, that she auditioned for the role.
"That is still one of the roles that's closest to my heart. I knew Kathy Joosten, we worked together on a very short-lived series called 'Thanks' for CBS,...

Diane Haithman is a contributor to Deadline’s TV coverage. It was an emotional moment at the Emmys when the late Henry Bromell won a posthumous writing Emmy for Homeland’s intense and grueling ”Q&A” episode. Unfortunately his wife, Sarah Bromell, was only allowed a brief onstage moment. “I accept this award on behalf of Henry with deep appreciation for the Academy,” she said. “Thank you so much.” And as Homeland star Claire Danes accepted her second consecutive Emmy for lead actress in a drama, she said of Bromell, who died in March, “He was a brilliant person and so kind, and we think of him every day on a show that help define.” While no stats were immediately available from the Academy, posthumous wins are extremely rare in any category. The last one is thought to be actress Diana Hyland in 1977 for The Boy in the Plastic Bubble.

By canvassing experts, editors and users, Gold Derby has determined that there are 11 women still in contention to reap bids for Best Comedy Supporting Actress this year. Only six will make the final cut when Emmy nominations are unveiled on July 18. Those ladies with odds to win of better than 100/1 from any group in our poll -- our Experts, Editors, Top 24 Users, and Overall Users -- are profiled below. With Kristen Wiig ("Saturday Night Live") no longer eligible and the passing of Kathryn Joosten ("Desperate Housewives"), the category has two guaranteed open slots. Related: Who are eight women with best odds to win Comedy Actress at Emmys? Julie Bowen ("Modern Family") has won this category two consecutive years and is predicted to prevail yet again with 12/5 odds. She has the votes of 10 Experts, three Editors (Darrin Dortch, Rob Licuria, David Schnelwar), 10 of our Top 24 Users, and 28% of Overall Users. ...

With two of last year’s nominees (Saturday Night Live’s Kristen Wiig and Desperate Housewives’ late Kathryn Joosten) out of the running, and a third (Nurse Jackie’s Merritt Wever) looking less like a long shot than a no shot, the field is wide open. Even if The Big Bang Theory’s Mayim Bialik, and Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara and Julie Bowen (2012’s winner), are again nominated, that still leaves three slots open — or two if Emmy raises another glass to Arrested Development’s intoxicating Jessica Walter.

Has Jane Krakowski's Emmy luck ran out? Or will the final season of "30 Rock" be the charm? After netting three consecutive bids in the race for Comedy Supporting Actress (2009, 2010, 2011), Krakowski was snubbed last year for her extremely popular role of Jenna Maroney on the long-running NBC comedy. Last year's six nominated supporting players were Julie Bowen ("Modern Family"), Mayim Bialik ("The Big Bang Theory"), Kathryn Joosten ("Desperate Housewives"), Sofia Vergara ("Modern Family"), Merritt Wever ("Nurse Jackie") and Kristen Wiig ("Saturday Night Live"). Only four of these women are eligible in this category again this year, as Wiig is no longer a regular on "SNL" and Joosten passed away. Might Krakowski re-claim her position in this crowded field? Last year, Julie Bowen ("Modern Family") won her second consecutive Emmy for Best Comedy Supporting Actress. And she is tipped to make it a hat trick this year. With the backing of five editors and two-thirds of users she has leading odds of 2 to 1. -Insertgroups:12- Only three of her competitors return to possibly contend again in 2013 as Kristen Wiig is no longer on "Saturday Night Live," and Kathryn Joosten ("Desperate Housewives") passed away last year. Of this trio, Bowen's co-star Sofia Vergara is the strongest threat. She has also contended for all three seasons of the show and is the pick of one editor and 20% of users. That translates into odds of 3 to 1. While Mayim Bialik ("The Big Bang Theory") is likely to reap her second straight bid for this hit laffer, she has only 2% of users predicting her to prevail. That lack of support gives her odds of...

NBC’s Parenthood returns tonight after two weeks off the air, bringing with it all of the difficult issues the series tackles year after year.
Season four of this intense family drama centers around Kristina Braverman’s (Monica Potter) shocking diagnosis and emotional battle with breast cancer.
Interestingly enough, cancer has been with the show since the very beginning. Actress Maura Tierney was originally cast to play Sarah Braverman, the second child of the Braverman family. However, the drama moved its premiere from the fall to midseason because of Tierney’s real-life breast cancer.
Unfortunately, scheduling conflicts between treatments and production led to Tierney leaving the cast of Parenthood. Lauren Graham, everyone’s favorite Gilmore Girls mom, replaced her. Having this tumultuous beginning poised Parenthood to be a series that could discuss serious issues and do so in a mature, sophisticated manner.

It’s a shame that the path of the television year must end on the Emmys, the awards show contained several highs, many lows and just some unfathomable results. Frustration, celebration, and embarrassment come to mind when mentioning the 2012 Emmys. Is it different any other year? No, not really. But its results sour the memory of a great year in television, right as we’re about to usher a new season this week at BuzzFocus. There were more deserving shows that were nominated but for whatever reasons unknown, the powers that be don’t agree.
The Academy of Television Arts & Science in some instances can look rather progressive. One minute they appear to have their shit together one moment–honoring Showtime’s Homeland, Outstanding Drama Series–but at the same time have their heads up their collective asses when they awarded ABC’s Modern Family nearly every major piece of hardware it could qualify for.

Well if you hadn't really heard of Homeland prior to this weekend, you probably have by now. The Showtime series pulled off a major upset at the 64th Annual Emmy Awards last night, winning a large chunk of the major awards in the Drama category over favourites like Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire and Game of Thrones. Claire Danes and Damian Lewis both took home awards for Lead Actress and Actor in a Drama Series, while the show also broke Mad Men's four-year win streak for Outstanding Drama Series. Elsewhere, Aaron Paul won his second Emmy for his supporting performance as Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad, while Julia Louis-Dreyfus won Best Lead Actress in a Comedy for Veep. Modern Family still took the Outstanding Comedy Series, however, while the HBO movie Game Change took the Outstanding Mini-Series or TV Movie. Kevin Costner did manage to pick up some...

The 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, took place on Sunday (September 23rd). Showtime's "Homeland" won in the Best Drama category, denying "Mad Men" a record fifth consecutive win. "Modern Family" took home its third straight Best Comedy award. Comedy Central's "The Daily Show" won its 10th consecutive Emmy, which resulted in Jon Stewart being censored during his acceptance speech for saying the F-word. Julianne Moore (pictured) won for Best Actress in a Mini-Series for her portrayal of Sarah Palin in HBO's "Game Change." Moore stated: "Wow, I feel so validated because Sarah Palin gave me a big thumbs down." And Jon Cryer won Best Actor for "Two and a Half Men," something he admitted was not possible with Charlie Sheen around. The results of the television awards ceremony of the year are always something to look forward to – the quality of the small screen has only been improving over the past decade or two, and it’s nice to see credit given where credit’s due.
Mad Men, Modern Family, Downton Abbey, Breaking Bad, Sherlock, and 30 Rock led this year’s nominations, and it’s Modern Family and Homeland that have come away with the most wins, taking four awards apiece.
