Television Group; Alix Jaffe, executive VP of television, Village Roadshow Entertainment Group; Tilane Jones, president of Array; Charles D. King, founder and CEO of Macro; and Josh Sapan, president and CEO of AMC Networks.
The board of directors, separate from the board of jurors that decide the annual Peabody Awards, is made up of “prominent executives from leading media companies and networks,” the organization said. “The board provides expert counsel and stewardship, and advances Peabody’s commitment to outstanding and transformative storytelling.”

On the heels of Time Inc. CEO Jack Griffin’s ouster last week, Randall Rothenberg has parted ways with the company after only one month on the job.
Rothenberg, who joined Time Inc. in January as chief digital officer, will return to the Interactive Advertising Bureau as its president and CEO.
“We’re excited that Randall is taking the helm again at Iab,” said Bob Carrigan, chairman of Iab Board of Directors and CEO, Idg Communications, Inc.
A Time Inc. spokeswoman told the New York Times that the company did not have plans to replace Rothenberg. Executives at the company stressed that Rothenberg’s departure was on good terms.
“We considered him a valued and collegial member of our management team and hoped he would stay,” the leadership team of Howard Averill, Maurice Edelson and John Huey said in a memo to Time Inc. employees sent Tuesday.

"I was recruited and hired by Time Warner to lead the business transformation of Time Inc., based on my clear record of success and results in the industry," Griffin said in his first public statement. "This continued at Time Inc., with the consistent and documented acclaim of Time Warner’s senior management. Every action I took over the past six months was made with that ultimate goal in mind.
"My exit was clearly not about management style or results," he added. "I leave behind a first rate team and wish them all the best of success."
Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes explained his decision via an employee memo released late Thursday.
"Although Jack is an extremely accomplished executive, I concluded that his leadership style and approach did not mesh with Time Inc.
