- Brian Griffin is known for Starship Troopers (1997), The 6th Day (2000) and Courage Under Fire (1996).
- His photograph, 'A Broken Frame,' commissioned originally for the cover of Depeche Mode's second album, was named one of Life Magazines' 'Worlds Greatest Pictures 1980 - 1990' (special issue, Winter 1990). The photo was featured on the front cover of the magazine.
- As a photographer in the 1980s, he was responsible for shooting the sleeves for several of Depeche Mode's albums inluding 'Speak and Spell' (1981), 'A Broken Frame' (1982), 'Construction Time Again' (1983), 'Some Great Reward' (1984), 'People Are People' (1985), and 'Black Celebration' (1986).
