Curse of the Black Gold
Curse of the Black Gold is an 8-minute, multi-media video which exposes the devastating impact of 50 years of oil exploitation in the Niger Delta. Comprised of hundreds of hauntingly graphic photographs by world-renowned photojournalist, Ed Kashi, and produced by Julie Winokur, the film draws on the voices of Nigerian environmentalists, activists and Niger Deltans to convey the human toll of government corruption and mis-managed development.
