My Mother Was an Airplane
Anna is a young woman who immigrates in Canada from Eastern Europe, ready to explore the world. She meets Marc, a Canadian born man. They move in together and try to have a child. The attempts are unsuccessful and Anna expresses her bitterness and disappointment through adultery. Her guilt creates coldness in their relationship with Marc. He eventually catches her in the act and the two separate. Just as Anna thinks she is alone again she discovers her pregnancy.
