Marneen Fields Red Carpet Interview at the Action on Film Festival 2017
Award-winning scriptwriter and ASCAP composer, Marneen Fields red carpet interview in Las Vegas for the 2017 Action on Film Festival with Traci Lynn Cowan (Hollywood Vibe). Marneen won a nomination in the Best Children's Film/Young Adult category for her "Johnny Hawk's, I'm Gonna Be a Hollywood Stuntman" country-pop song. The event took place at the Rain Nightclub inside the Palms Casino and Resort on August 25, 2017. Marneen talked to Traci about her screenplay, "Johnny Hawk AKA Hard Nuts to Crack." The story of a young Metis who leaves his hometown neighbors of Minot, North Dakota to move to Hollywood, California to become a Hollywood stuntman. Marneen's screenplay won LA Comedy Awards Outstanding Comedy Script in 2015, and her AOF nominated "Johnny Hawk's, I'm Gonna be a Hollywood Stuntman" is the title track to film. She shared with Traci the fifteen years she performed on over 100 films, prime-time TV shows, and movies-of-the-weeks as a top Hollywood stuntwoman, stunt-actress, and SAG actress from 1976 to 1991. One of her greatest achievements while doing stunts was being once coined Hollywood's Original Fall Girl and awarded a Fall Girl license plate by J.P. Bill Catching and the Stuntman's Association in the mid-1980s. Marneen also talks about how 400 actors, dancers, models, stunt kids, and cheerleaders auditioned via LA Casting to appear in the music video of which thirty-five made the cut.
