The Possession of Hannah Grace (2018)
A copycat of a movie.....
I guess the writer, directors watched "The Autopsy of Jane Doe" and then decided to make a new movie, "improving" on the original by adding some more gory death scenes and a more gruesome looking corpse.
It is pretty boring with a somewhat dull lead actress.
There is noting here.
Free Solo (2018)
Anticlimactic
Very disappointing and unsatisfying.
Honnold's free solo climb of El Captain is, in my opinion, the greatest achievement is sports history. Still,in a documentary running for more than 90 minutes
we only see glimpses of this climb for about 15 minutes.
The whole thing was very anticlimactic (sorry for the pun!).
Most of the documentary is padded with things that are not that interesting. And, worst of all, too much time was given to his annoying and dominating girlfriend. She is cutesy, but Honnold would be better off without her.
In a documentary about climbing I do not see the point of showing a very immature, spoiled and selfish girlfriend talking about "feelings", "commitment" and all that typical nonsense. After a while, I was rooting to see Honnold dumping her along a trail in some godforsaken park in the middle of nowhere. She is nothing more than a heavy bag of ballast. On the other hand, Honnold seems to be a much more interesting person than the documentary has shown.
My suggestion: go to Youtube and search for Honnold and his climbs. It will be much more enjoyable!
